In Kingdom Hearts II, Aerial Dodge allows Sora to jump in midair, deflecting enemy attacks.

Aerial Dodge (エアドッジ Ea Dojji?, lit. "Air Dodge") is a technique introduced in Kingdom Hearts II. It allows the user to dodge in midair.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts II, Aerial Dodge is a growth ability that costs 3 AP to equip. It allows Sora to perform a midair jump that deflects enemy attacks by pressing Circle, X in the Japanese releases, while the user is in midair. Leveling it up increases the arc of the dodge.

In Kingdom Hearts III, Aerial Dodge is a movement ability that costs 3 AP to equip. It is activated by pressing Square and tilting the left analog stick in mid-air during combat, and allows Sora to spin in a chosen direction. If Air Slide is equipped, Aerial Dodge replaces Air Slide in combat.
