Heat Slash (ヒートスラッシュ, Hīto Surasshu) is a series of techniques that appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. They are Finish commands that allow the user to execute a flaming attack that deals Fire-type damage.

Mechanics

Heat Slash 1 is a Level 2 Finish command that can be used by Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. It consists of a two-stage flaming spin that deals fire damage. Heat Slash 2 is a Level 3 Finish command that can be used exclusively by Aqua. It consists of a flaming spin that deals fire damage, with a two hit combo that can be added by tapping when prompted.

• Terra learns Heat Slash 1 after using the Firestorm Command Style eight times while Finish is the equipped Finish command.
• Ventus learns Heat Slash 1 after using the Firestorm Command Style eight times while Finish is the equipped Finish command.
• Aqua learns Heat Slash 1 after using the Firestorm Command Style eight times while Finish is the equipped Finish command.
• Aqua learns Heat Slash 2 after using the Firestorm Command Style twelves times while Heat Slash 1 is the equipped Finish command.
