Actual calculation of Lucky Lucky's effect
Lucky Lucky "increases the drop rate of items by 30%", though this is an ambiguous statement as far as how this 30% is actually applied. Clearly it is not simply adding 30%, as equipping just four of the seven Lucky Luckys will give a drop percentage of over 100%, which is clearly incorrect. Though not absolutely confirmed, it seems reasonably certain to me from my own in-game testing that it is a simple addition of 30% of the normal drop rate per Lucky Lucky equipped. For example, the Akashic Record usually has a 1% chance of being dropped by a Bookmaster Heartless, but equipping all seven Lucky Luckys results in (7 x 30% x 1%) on top of the usual 1%, meaning a new drop rate of 3.1%. Should I put this into the article? I already would have were it not for the uncertainty in whether it is definitely correct. - Sorceror Nobody 21:11, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
- As a followup to this, can anyone confirm whether KH2 stacks them additively or multiplicatively? To check, having all Lucky Lucky's should make everything drop at least eight times if it's additive.Glorious CHAOS! 04:29, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

- So it just seems like x(1+0.3n) and x(1+0.5n). Unless we can peek into the game's coding, I think this is the official word. Pink Agaricus (talk) 21:10, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
Luck Up effect in KH1
However one wants to incorporate it: the calculation for drop rates in Kingdom Hearts is (base drop rate) x (1 + 0.5n), where n is the number of Luck Up abilities equipped on the active party. Pink Agaricus (talk) 17:58, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
2FM Lucky Lucky count
How is it 15? 7 from equipment, plus 2 from Roxas in Critical, plus one from each party member, plus one from leveling Limit is 12. 13 when Limit is active.
Party member abilities don't apply when they're not in your party, right? So Sora doesn't get the Lucky Lucky bonus from either Jack unless he loses one from Donald or Goofy. 173.68.87.78 07:46, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
