Game talk:Ansem, Seeker of Darkness
True form?
When was it said that the Guardian is Xehanort's Heartless' true form? DannyP 01:14, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
I think that that's an incredibly cool theory with a definite basis in the design of the world of Chaos but I'm not sure it can be said with that kind of confidence.
Perhaps this idea should be removed from the article as their is no proof and people reading about the World of Chaos will be confused, or at least make clear it is a theory.
Merge
I think we should merge this with the Ansem and World of Chaos articles. Thoughts?
- I don't see a major reason for a merge. We have articles that get pretty specific. It's not so much that I have a big opposition to a merge as I just don't see any reason for it. Any particular benefit you see from a merge? Scottch 20:33, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
The Guardian is always seen with Ansem, and not much is known about it. Plus, this article is a stub, and there's only so much we can add.
His Shadow?
By the picture, It seems to connect to Ansems feet, (I know is isn't really Ansem, but I don't know how to spell what his real name is) but based on the picture, it looks like the Guardian is his shadow, and the persons darkness is very extreame that even his shadow takes form. Name
A Heartless in 358, the big Surveillance Robot, is named "Guardian". Do we have any actual source for this being the name of Ansem's shadow?Glorious CHAOS! 09:13, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes, one of Ansem's battle qoutes is "Come Gaurdian" in reference to that specific heartless.
- That doesn't actually confirm its name, it could very well be "Come guardian".Glorious CHAOS! 04:30, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm just gonna point out that "Guardian" simply doesn't exist in the Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ Ultimanias. And those are the same books that take the time to call Marluxia's crazy-ass mech "Spectre". We really need somebody who can understand spoken Japanese to play the Japanese version of that battle. - I'm going to go ahead and merge this page with Xehanort's Heartless the way we did with the World of Chaos components. It doesn't have any unique stats, is essentially his method of fighting, and has no official name.Glorious CHAOS! 09:46, 16 July 2009 (UTC)
TEMPLATE ISSUE!

- Also, I can't actually figure out why I split this into two different stat boxes, when every other enemy, like Behemoth and Darkside, just combines them, except that the guide says so. The only real difference is that one is fought alone while the other is fought with allies, and there is small changes in the battle strategy, while Darkside and Behemoth behave the same. However, we also have the CoM situation, where the first is a tutorial battle, and the second is a real battle. Do you guys think this amounts to enough to split it into multiple tabs, or not?Glorious CHAOS! 00:36, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
Ansem
Shouldn't this be under "Ansem (Boss)"? He's never refered to as Xehanort's Heartless in any games in which he's fought. Should we really take a name from the sequel--in which he isn't even a boss--and use that as the boss page title? Ansem (Boss) isn't even a redirect! That's easily fixable, but that's not the point. You never once fight "Xehanort's Heartless." Even if "Ansem" is revealed in the sequel to be XH, he is never once fought under that name. I'm not saying the main article should be renamed, but at least the boss page should fit the name he's fought as ingame, should it not? Dazuro 20:43, October 30, 2009 (UTC)
- Personally, I agree with Dazuro. This and Riku (Xehanort's Heartless) should use the "Ansem" name, because that's what they are called. Riku even calls himself Ansem at that point.Glorious CHAOS! 21:36, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

Dark form
Could someone add a tab for Ansem's second form in Dream Drop Distance.--58.7.184.89 03:28, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
Riku
In the last fight with Riku in the original Kingdom Hearts you are actually fighting Ansem, so shouldn't that fight be on the Ansem boss page instead of the Riku boss page.--220.253.159.152 10:53, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- He looks like Riku and he fights like Riku, so no. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 15:28, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- It's a character called Riku-Ansem according to the canon, but is called "Riku" in the official guides. It should probably be on the Riku-Ansem page, as we did with young Xehanort."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:01, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
