Eternal Nothingness XIII - Funny... This whole time, I've been telling myself I want to be stronger, more independent... But the second I let my heart do the talking... I find out how little I really know myself. And how much I miss them. TALK - All this time, I've been staring into the darkness... But... that doesn't mean I have to jump in. — 01:04, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

I know this looks bad, but I told Neumannz I would start making this article. My comments:
- I apologize for the number of stubs...I haven't played a KH game in ages, and there were no articles which had sections I could just copy/paste into this one other than the Hit Points and Focus Gauge articles, as well as Erry's rough draft of the Drop Gauge article. These will need to be filled in by other editors.
- Not sure if all Gauges from the series are listed in this article yet. Someone will need to go in and ensure everything is where it should be.
- We'll eventually need images of all the gauges to maintain consistency with the sections that currently do have images.
- The article will be renamed "Gauges" when given the green light.
- Not sure whether we should keep articles with substantial information (such as Drive Gauge) and simply redirect the rest or not (there was really no way I could think of to get all the necessary info from the Drive Gauge article into the one little section on this article, so I used the "main" template...).
- Copy/pasted sections (such as HP Gauge) need to be condensed.
- Not sure if this article should cover both enemies and playable characters, or just the playable characters/party members...The way we have "Berserk Gauge" on there makes me think we'll be including information on both enemies and party members...
- This article will be categorized under "Gameplay elements."
- Redundancies in other articles (such as Hit Points) will need to be removed.
If other staffers could offer their opinions and what-not, I'd appreciate it!

You're absolutely right about paring down HP Gauge. I'm writing a draft now, if you don't mind me putting it in. Maybe I'll try working on Drive Gauge next.
Other things:
- Need to figure out how to work images, because of how the gauges are displayed together. Maybe have an image of a gauge by itself in its respective section and a gallery with the assemblies?
- How many enemy gauges are there? Time, Berserk, maybe the ones for those WoN engines? Any others?
- Maybe someday I'll finish my Stats draft, and we can start working on the statistic pages...
- Also need to figure out where "gauge" gets capitalized and where it doesn't
EDIT: Ok, did the Drive Gauge section, along with its companions. I don't think there's anything that's on the Drive Gauge article that is not now covered here.

Eternal Nothingness XIII - I'm not afraid of what the darkness holds now. Even if you do wrest control of my heart from me, even if you cast me into the deepest, darkest abyss, you'll never sway me from the one cause that pushes me to keep on fighting. Whatever the cost, I'm ready to pay it. TALK - There's darkness within me... So what does that matter? I know I'm strong enough to hold it back. — 21:13, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

By all means, Neumannz, if you have any improvements that can be made, ADD THEM!!!
- I think we continue what we're doing already: Images of the gauges themselves. If a gauge is formatted differently on multiple occasions, we can create a gallery under each section.
- I'm not 100% certain on the number of enemy gauges...you just seem to have named the gauges that are in Kingdom Hearts II...I could swear there were others in the later installments. I think we should just double-check to be safe.
- Pardon my incompetence, but how would a statistics page be relevant to the content we'll be hosting here?
- In terms of "gauge" vs. "Gauge," look at the games. We should write in articles as the game does to maintain consistency.
As I said above, as you go through condensing/adding sections, feel free to edit this page. Saves time when we make the necessary moves and redirects later.

Mainspace
I apologize if this move seems sudden and uncalled for; revert if necessary. But we've been wanting to do something like this to deal with the various gauge articles for a long time. I started this in my userspace, and it received a lot of attention. Now it's time we finish the article up. The only logical thing to do in my mind was to bring it to mainspace. The gauge articles and sections of articles should be dealt with accordingly, possibly linking to this new page. - Eternal Nothingness XIII 01:21, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

Any particular reason why the article title is plural? I understand it covers multiple gauges, but we don't title "Nobody" "Nobodies" or "Dream Eater" "Dream Eaters" just because it discusses multiple enemies...

- I think it's because it covers every gauge in the series, while those cover a whole race of one thing. A race is different from a mere gameplay element. And also probably due to each having a different mechanic attached to it, while enemies are all the same, their mechanic is to attack/distract. Erry ♓ 19:06, 2 June 2012 (UTC)
It's similar to why we have an article called "Symbols" instead of "Symbol". Also, we're never gonna be linking to the article except via redirects. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 05:36, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
Limit Gauge
The Limit Gauge is the yellow area of Roxas' HP gauge, only available in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. Once Roxas' HP reaches the yellow zone, he can activate his Limit Break, as taught to him by Lexaeus. A Limit Boost panel increases the upper range of the Limit Gauge to 50%. The gauge will halve every time a Limit Break is used.
The Limit Gauge section that was on the page was there for KHII. Is the yellow portion of Roxas's HP Gauge actually called the Limit Gauge? If so, how do we want to handle this (merge, what)? "We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 06:34, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- The in-game tutorial for limit breaks does not give it a name. It calls it the "yellow range" of the HP gauge. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 09:31, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
To add... somehow... (will add more later)
- Kingdom Hearts
- Genie's, Dumbos', Bambi's and Mushu's summon gauge?
- Kingdom Hearts ReChain of Memories
- Honey gauge (Bumble Rumble)
- Kingdom Hearts II
- Dog gauge -- Twilight Town
- Gate gauge -- Hollow Bastion/The Land of Dragons
- Cockworth gauge -- Beast's Castle
- Megara gauge -- Olympus Coliseum
- Minnie gauge -- Disney Castle
- Danger gauge -- Timeless River
- Escape gauge -- Timeless River
- Timon & Pumbaa gauge -- Pride Lands
- Brave gauge (The Expotition) -- 100 Acre Wood
I'm not sure of some of them can be sumed up as Damage Gauge or if they should have their own section. Anyway if someone has savegames before encountering any of these "story" gauges please send them to me. ShardofTruth 21:21, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
