Guard Armor
The Guard Armor (ガードアーマー Gādo Āmā) is an Emblem Heartless that is found in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It is one of the bosses at Traverse Town, but also appears in the Olympus Coliseum matches. The various pieces of the Guard Armor are able to move independently, and even appear as separate enemies in the Coliseum matches. By rearranging its pieces, the Guard Armor can even transform into the more powerful Opposite Armor.

Leader of the Heartless in Traverse Town. It falls apart when it receives damage, but each part attacks individually. Sora meets Donald and Goofy for the first time just before fighting this Heartless.

Story
Kingdom Hearts
The Guard Armor was sent to destroy the heart of Traverse Town, but was defeated by Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy. A second one is deployed to guard the Traverse Town keyhole from Sora, Donald, and Goofy, but transforms itself into the Opposite Armor.
The various pieces of a Guard Armor appear throughout the Phil Cup, and a final Guard Armor appears in the Hades Cup. However, these Guard Armor's are colored red instead of violet, and in Final Mix they are clarified to be the Red Armor.
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Sora fought the Guard Armor again, although it was only a memory and therefore not real. However, an Enemy Card was acquired after its defeat. Oddly the Guard Armor in Chain of Memories does not have the emblem on the back of the torso piece for its counterpart Opposite Armor flipped, it remains upside-up.
Strategy
This Boss has a torso and four limbs, all of which act as targets. Remember to watch over your new teammates, since this is your first time controlling a party. Lock onto its torso and attack with combos, since your attacks will most likely strike the limbs as you go past them. Hitting the torso also keeps it from launching its main attack. Just remember to destroy the limbs before you actually finish off the torso.
