Wow man, really? We had a whole debate over this on the previous talk page before someone remade the article. I guess I have to restate my reason why this is Vanitas' X-Blade:
"It has been brought to my attention that some people feel that the X-Blade should not be put under Vanitas' ownership. I feel that since it has only been wielded by Vanitas, it is ok to assume rightful ownership to him. If someone were to wield it in the future, this article will have to be changed to "X-Blade", but seeing as it has only been wielded by Vanitas, I feel it should stay the same. What are your thoughts on this?"
(directly pasted from the other page)
and LegoAlchemist has stated:
"I think that, for know, with the information that we have, we should leave it under Vanitas's X-Blade. I mean, He is the only person that wields it (Ventus not counting, because Vanitas was probably possessing his body). So until we learn it's official name, we should leave it as is."
There are some reasons, but its whatever you guys want to do, I've had more than enough of my share of debating with you...

I agree with you, Saxisai, and I know you have been battling over this for a while. And thanks for posting my argument.
And in the future, to the one who made the article Vanitas's X-Blade, use the option "Move" at the top of the page rather than completely starting a new article. That way, all of the previous discussions remain in the talk page, and everyone's happy.

Well, I think that this article should be named just "X-Blade". I mean, although Vanitas is the only one who wields it, it doesn't mean it's name should have his name included in it... I mean, we don't call the Soul Eater "Riku's Soul Eater" now do we?

It does make more sense that way. I mean, all of the other weapon pages about weapons that only one person ever wields don't have the person's name in the title. Just Xiggie said.

- Look at the katakana...It's pronounced the same as "Keyblade". "Kii" is another pronunciation of chi. And the page was moved because the Latin X and the Greek chi are actually different letters. Now it's at [Chi]-Blade and not [X]-Blade.—Urutapu 23:06, January 10, 2010 (UTC)

I'm not sure you got what I said, I meant that the name, as in the actual english spelling, X-Blade, is still the same, which is the title of the page. But it says that the page has been moved from X-Blade to X-Blade...but it is the exact same thing...so, why did the page have to be moved? Couldn't the information on the page just be changed? I get that the pronunciation of the title has changed, but its not noticeable in the spelling...

Well, now I'm downright confused. The pronouciation symbol on the page indicates a long "i", making it 'kai', but why is the same symbol used to show the pronounciation of Keyblade?
As more the page being moved, Saxisai, judging from the URL in IE, i'd say someone actually used the Greek letter in the name, which seems like taking it too far to me.

- Saxisai, a capital X and a capital chi look exactly the same but are actually different characters. Case in point: lowercase x versus lowercase χ. And as for the pronunciation, as I said in the history: Not in Japanese romanization. The macron doesn't mean "long i sound" (i.e. "eye") but "the Japanese i sound but longer" (i.e. "ee"). And there's no reason not to use the Greek letter, Neumannz. It's not an X. Besides, the Japanese subtitles (I'm not expecting you to go spoil yourself watching an endgame cutscene, just trust me) obviously use a chi and not an X.—Urutapu 00:25, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

Alright, I'm not going to argue anymore. I got what you were saying the first time, there was no need to repeat yourself. I was just thinking it would have been a lot easier to recognize the page with the actual X instead of the Greek letter, so this is the last I'm going to debate about the name. (lol)

Shouldn't we remove the bit of storyline information? True, the incomplete blade is destroyed by Ventus, and Aqua destroys the real thing when fighting Ven-itas, but we have no source stating that it formed Mickey's and Sora's Kingdom Key, at least that I know of.

Neumannz is right, that's probably why someone thought the real name was "Chi-Blade". The name is literally X-Blade.

The name is a pun. "X" is both the Greek letter "Chi", pronounced "Key", and the shape of the Keyblade itself. Its unique nature seems to make it serve as a proto-Keyblade, so it fits - it's the "Keyblade" that's not a Keyblade.

X-Blade is X-Blade is X-Blade. X is Chi, and "kii" and "kai" are both correct pronunciations of "chi".

It's two Keyblades, but no, it doesn't make Sora's and Mickey's Keyblades. Apparently Mickey got his hands on the Kingdom Key D before the X-Blade was destroyed.

I don't think there was any indication that the Kingdom Keys came from the X-Blade being broken (though for all i know that might be true... He did, TNE?)
Anyway, I don't think that line should be in the article if there's no substanciation

I am absolutely positive that Mickey did NOT get the Keyblade of the Realm of Darkness BEFORE the X-Blade was destroyed because finding said Keyblade was the entire reason he disappeared ten years later in the original game. Besides, it didn't look like the X-Blade split in half. It looked like it crumbled to pieces. Immblueversion 18:28, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Well if you think about it,Sora gets the Star Seeker after he gets his Valor form and new outfit. Maybe Mickey recived the key and left to find the person who could wield the OTHER half of it. As for Star Seeker, maybe he gave it back?

In one of the endings, we see Mickey returning the Star fragment and the Star Seeker to Yen Sid, and then he starts walking away, then Yen Sid is seen behind him and giving him back the Star Seeker. (6:13)
I don't know what that really means... but I think that we do know that the Star Seeker is a rather special keyblade, I mean, it did appear in the BBS Opening... and then the keychain was formed from the pillars of the three princesses in the game... I wonder what that is supposed to symbolize...
Oh, and about Zack, I am pretty sure that was killed by... Sephiroth! (4:36)

@Immblueversion: If the X-Blade didn't split in two after it was destroyed, then answer this: How did Sora obtain the original Kingdom Key in Riku's place in the first KH game and how did King Mickey obtained the Kingdom Key D at the end of the same game? Magic? Impossible?
So my only speculation is that the destroyed X-Blade split into Sora's original Kingdom Key and King Mickey's Kingdom Key D or they'll never wield them in the first place. Smackdown599 16:01, July 23, 2010 (UTC)

NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Kingdom Key D requires a shift in colour. If the two had actually split it'd make two normal Kingdom Keys. No one can further explain the keychain change. So for now, let's leave it as it is. Also, because the X-Blade is said to have been created at one point in time, so too would the Kingdom Keys have existed by themselves a long time before BBS.

What the hell is this nonsense regarding Ventus being CREATED from the X-Blade? >_> He was just an ordinary guy whom Xehanort picked up because of his purity and potential to wield the X-Blade.

The X-blade would unlock KH and that would make the worlds be taken by Darkness or it would unlock the DTD causing KH to be devoured by Darkness and then causing the other worlds to be devoured by Darkness?

...uh...I heard somewhere...mabey on the wiki...I dont know for sure though...so...if anything just count this as speculation, I heard it unlocks "the door to heaven" AKA door to light or kingdom hearts which would make sense on why people are fighting over it. 75.162.72.60 02:16, January 30, 2010 (UTC)
Door to heaven? I don't think so...Redeemer & Destroyer 02:19, January 30, 2010 (UTC)
The KH was on the sky not on the realm of darkness so i'm nor sure that it would open the DTD--Xabryn 02:25, January 30, 2010 (UTC)
yeah the door to heaven didnt sound right to me either. Ill find out where I found it, sorry. 75.162.72.60 02:32, January 30, 2010 (UTC)
bottom of the page in triva I read it wrong though my mistake. http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/%CE%A7-Blade 75.162.72.60 02:35, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

There's that scene in Ven's story, the creation of Vanitas, along with the other scene, where Master Xehanort says that Ven is incomplete, and that he should seize his darkness once again ?
Shouldn't that qualify for a citation, or must we get the precise sentences ? I wonder if anyone has access to the Master Xehanort Reports proper.

Keyblade of People's Hearts
I don't quite understand the Xehanort Reports 6 and 7, but I think they're saying that this is the same type of Keyblade as the "Dark Keyblade" in KH1. At the very least, Xehanort seems to clearly say that such a Keyblade is the only way to get to Kingdom Hearts.Glorious CHAOS! 05:00, March 31, 2010 (UTC)
I thought that too but but he says that for creat it is necessary the hearts of the 7 pricesses of heart but it could be just a mistranslation i think the better for us to do now is wait the english version to come out then we'll see--Xabryn 23:18, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

changed something
I removed the thing that said that Final Form's X-shaped keyblade floating thing is a reference to the X-Blade because that's obviously way too far fetched to be true on account of the fact that the X-blade wasn't even invented yet.
Source please~
Can someone add a source to that Xemnas bit of trivia on this page? I'd like to see where it came from. Thanks! --LegoAlchemist 02:50, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
- ...again, that trivia bit looks like speculation. Can I please get a source? --LegoAlchemist 17:00, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
- It's in the BBS Ultimania interviews. The "20 Mysteries", I believe.Glorious CHAOS! 20:53, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
Why was it removed?
Why was his part of the Trivia removed?
Another theory is, since neither the Kingdom Key nor the Kingdom Key D appeared in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, but the X-Blade did and opened the Kingdom Hearts of World's Hearts (the blue Kingdom Hearts), what is the description for these two Kingdom Keys, it is possible that when Aqua destroyed the X-Blade, it got split into the Kingdom Key and the Kingdom Key D.
It's just a theory and it makes sense.

It's a completely plausible theory, just fix the grammar a little bit and re-add it.

it was removed because it is pure speculation. there is no evidence at all that the x-blade split into the to keyblades or that any of it survived at all, and speculation has no place on these articles, not even the trivia

No speculation. There is a Kingdom Hearts Fanon Wiki forthat. This wiki is for facts.LapisLazuliScarab17:05, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
But there are lots of speculations on this wiki, for example it is unclear how Sora gets new Keyblades (does he get a new Keyblade or just a new Keychain?) In this case we have lots of speculation.
- Yes, that would be speculation, if it wasn't for the fact that it isn't, at all. It is absolutely canon that Sora only has two Keyblades, and that the different forms are do to switching Keychains.Glorious CHAOS! 17:20, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
