So, um...this means Ansem's not the first, right? This is huge."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:44, 4 March 2016 (UTC)

For all we know at least parts of KHX could play after KH3D, it's still huge regardless. Goldpanner translates the name with "Black Garment", do you think that's better? Curiously the name uses Kanji so I don't think it refers to the Heartless but to the group they are part of (like a sixth secret enemy Union). --ShardofTruth 18:24, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
WWWJDIC just renders it as "black clothes". I feel like it miiiiiiiight be a reference to the Blackshirts, but that's a bit of a stretch, especially since the Japanese name for that is 黒シャツ隊. "The Black-clad" might sound nice and ominous."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:48, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
"Heartless created by Player " -- wait, wut."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:46, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
Based on dub name (Darkling), Black-clad might be a good translation?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 04:58, 14 January 2017 (UTC)

Shouldn't the name of this article be Darkling? Diamonddeath (talk) 10:32, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

Nobody's gotten around to moving it yet. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 03:29, 23 January 2017 (UTC)

Possible split

For enemies that are simply a group of other existing enemies, should we separate the pages or have them merged? The enemies in question are:

Personally, I'm in favor of keeping them separate, while having the swarm version be a secondary tab in a suite, like with Playing Cards. Given that Omega raid bosses have their own articles, it feels more consistent to keep these variants distinct as well. (For Darklings in particular, this would probably mean another split for the story section, i.e. Darkling + Game:Darkling + Darklings.) Thoughts? —Aid1043 (talk) 04:21, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
