Cid Highwind is a character from Final Fantasy VII, who makes an appearence in Kingdom Hearts. He owns the gummishop shop in Traverse Town, which is true to his Final Fantasy counterpart, as he is an expert on air travel. The name suggested by Riku to give to the raft in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts (the "Highwind") is Cid's last name in Final Fantasy.
