Wayfinder (ウェイファインダー Weifaindā) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-. It allows the user to team up with King Mickey and perform warping slashes.
Mechanics
Wayfinder is a Team Attack that is randomly activated by performing physical attacks together with King Mickey. The standard combo is a multi-hit combo in which Aqua and King Mickey repeatedly teleport and strike enemies in their path. The finishing move consists of Aqua combining her standard finisher with Mickey's light-based powers, clearing any enemies in their way.
During the battle against the Demon Tide, Wayfinder has a special prompt. When activated, Mickey rides the giant Heartless and uses his Star Seeker to send the Demon Tide towards Aqua, who fires chains of light to bind the Heartless's core and leave it vulnerable. Immediately afterwards, Aqua instantly activates the Wayfinder Team Attack.
Learning Wayfinder
- Aqua learns Wayfinder after meeting Mickey in the Depths of Darkness.
- Aqua can use Wayfinder as a Situation Command against the Demon Tide.
