This isn't about Daybreak Town, but I do have a question. Do you have any viewable maps for KH1 worlds? Like, either you can view it in noesis or something like that. Thanks. You have wormed your way to the very nadir of repugnance. - Erry 18:57, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
- I know from the HD ReMIX that the rooms are probably stored in some sort of bin files, but never could unpack them from the original game and I also never heard someone doing this and even displaying the KH1 maps. The interest in the HD ReMIX is also still very low so we probably won't see someone crack the map files for the time being. ShardofTruth 09:52, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

Images
Erry told me that you use a special program to get images and i would like to know what it is. Byzantinefire (talk) 16:57, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
- Which images, the KHX ones? ShardofTruth 17:54, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
- Yes the KHX ones. Byzantinefire (talk) 17:59, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
- I'm using a simple flash decompiler for most of the files and some scripts and custom programs for the compressed ones, but these are not mine to share, sorry. ShardofTruth 18:25, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
- I suppose i can wait for them to come out on the KHInsider later. Byzantinefire (talk) 19:27, 27 March 2014 (UTC)

Talk sprites
Would you be able to verify the KHD talk sprite images I uploaded? The specific problems I know of is the duplicate Riku sprite and the weird-looking Saix sprite. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 23:01, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
- The KHD talk sprites still elude me, I really don't know where there are, there are just too many file to check. I use the same tools as Barubary though, so everything he found should really be there. But keep in mind that some of these sprites may not be part of the actual game anymore and are just leftovers, maybe that's the case for these two sprites. The sprites are stored as 2D tile map graphics that consist of three files (palette, tile and map) and in Saix case there seems to be something wrong with the palette file. This could be caused by the extracting tools or because this sprite was never intended to be used it's incomplete on purpose. Anyway to confirm if all these sprites exist in the game someone with a lot of time has to check all cutscenes. ShardofTruth 15:55, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
you think you could upload scans of the birth by sleep final mix master navigation book please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.116.53.47 (talk • contribs)
- I could but there is little to gain from this book besides the renders that are already all uploaded here. The BBSFM Master Navigation guide is incomplete on almost every level: There is a introductory chapter that covers all changes but there are no extra pages for the new boss battles, the Unversed missions or even the Secret Episode. If you have something specific in mind I could check if it's in there but, as I said, it's probably not worth it. ShardofTruth 17:24, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
Done with this?

- Sorry for the late answer, but I completely trust your judgement regarding unneeded and/or superseded images, there is certainly no need to keep everything and if something gets lost it can be re-uploaded.:-) ShardofTruth 20:23, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
More Talk Sprites
I'm finally continuing the fixing and transparency of the KHCOM talk sprites! The problem is that I have some that seem to be parts of the full live/animated gifs and I'm having trouble naming them, can you check the original files for the official name? The questionable sprites are ones on this page Template:Chris. Thank you! ANX219 22:53, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
- I don't think there are official names for the talk sprites, they are neither named in the game files (they don't work this way) nor in the Ultimania. I think you have the make them up as you go along, which is completely fine. Heck even angry 1, angry 2 and angry 3 would suffice if you don't know what to make of them. Riku's COM moves
I'm not sure if I asked you this before, but does the Ultimania name Riku's movement abilities in COM/RECOM? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 17:48, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks
Man, thank you so much for your help on those COM talk sprites! Your help is greatly appreciated! I cannot thank you enough. Xion4ever 18:18, 12 July 2014 (UTC)
- I'm so late for this but I would also like to thank you very much for moving the names! Basically what Xion said. :D ANX219 16:20, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
Dream Eaters revisited
Did you ever get around to scanning the Dream Eater abilities pages? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 06:01, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
- Do you mean this or this or something different? I don't have the book here right now so I can only guess, but I uploaded these (1, 2, 3, 4) things previously. ShardofTruth 18:21, 1 September 2014 (UTC)
I mean like #4, only the rest of the pages. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 02:28, 2 September 2014 (UTC)
- Hmm, I don't know why I scanned these two pages only but I will check it out on the weekend. ShardofTruth 18:38, 2 September 2014 (UTC)

Memorial Ultimania Cover
I saw some pictures uploaded of the real thing, and it seemed the "sleeve" was actually part of the cover itself, not an actual slip-on/slip-off sleeve. Is there anyway to check if that's true? KeybladeSpyMaster 16:33, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
- Every Ultimania has such a sleeve (I think the majority of Japanese books has), you can see it's separate here. --ShardofTruth 16:50, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
KH3D models/3DS ROM decryption
Now that 3DS ROMs can be decrypted (and people have started extracting models and the like from them), do you think you could get KH3D models (Keyblades etc., particularly Lea's and the Grid variants), or (more likely considering you may not have have the resources needed) at least know of someone willing to do so? Ultima Spark (talk) 13:13, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
- If Kingdom Hearts 3D would be as popular as Smash Bros or Pokemon than the answer would probably be yes by this point. I've talked to some people interested in investigating the game files of KH3D but there is not much progress made at the moment, mainly because Square Enix always wants to be a special snowflake meaning all their files are different from the standard Nintendo equivalents and the decryption process still requires at lot of work and some special hardware.
- I'm currently looking at some of the games' textures so we may be getting better Keyblade images at least but models are a completely different beast. Take Re:CoM for example, most of the game files can be extracted by this point but almost none of them are investigated because nobody really cares about them and I don't have the time (or am smart enough) do reverse engenier a file like this. I'm certain that we will see model rips of the game but not now or next month, it will still take some time. In other news: There has been some progress made on the ReMIXes and there is still some interesting stuff to uncover in thos games:-) --ShardofTruth 16:36, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
- Have MayBeePah and you been able to render any of the wieldable Keyblades, so we can get a look at their details?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:43, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- MayBeePah released all Keyblade models, currently I'm just trying to figure out how to display the TG variant/skin correctly, so I can upload them both. On a side note: The Reality Shift Keyblades are really considered as one of Sora's/Riku's Keyblade by the game and Riku should be able to use the Kingdom Key D, it even as a TG variant, maybe it's like the Light Seeker scenario in BBS. --ShardofTruth 05:51, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

Ansem - KH3D
Hey Shard, I was hoping you could help us. We're trying to fill in the stats for the Ansem's 1st and 2nd Forms in KH3D, and have come to the conclusion that we need the Enemy Base Value Stat to do it. Do you happen to have access to those, or know where those are? I think they're in the Ultimania, but I'm not entirely sure. Thanks! KeybladeSpyMaster 23:58, 13 November 2014 (UTC)
- I'm not Shard, but I can help you with that: first, second. Tell me if you need a higher-res image. Ultima Spark (talk) 05:29, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks Ultima, I wouldn't be able to get those scans anyway because my Ultimanias are far away at the moment:D --ShardofTruth 13:36, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
Kingdom Hearts Fonts
Hey Shard ! Did you rip the .ttf font files for creating the sidebar text ? Cauz I'd like to have the font please. And do you also have the font used in the menu texts ? -- BraviDunno 18:30, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- The games don't use a font directly but some sort of image map instead, this is all I have at the moment. I have to check [chi] again when I have the time but I think even there it's images only. --ShardofTruth 09:37, 4 December 2014 (UTC)
Ultimania Question
Hey, Shard, I was hoping you could help me with a question. I've run across the infamous "20 Mysteries of Kingdom Hearts" article that was translated by a user at KHInsider (and linked on multiple occasions on the internet and here on the wiki). My question is, since I don't think using "20 Mysteries of Kingdom Hearts" counts as a source (or it won't look like one), whether those "20 Mysteries" are from the Birth by Sleep Ultimania (it was posted alongside translations for the interview from the Birth by Sleep Ultimania, so I'm guessing that's where it's most likely from) or if it's from somewhere else entirely. I'd really appreciate it if you could check that for me. Thanks! KeybladeSpyMaster 22:08, 11 January 2015 (UTC)
- This is about Sora's first Keyblade isn't it? As far as I know there are no direct quotes regarding the reason why Sora was able to "steal" Riku's Keyblade apart from the fact that he has a strong heart and was at the right place at the right time.
- Anyway, the 20 Mysteries are part of the BBS Ultimania, you can find the pages here: 1, 2, 3, 4. The Ultimanias are the only secondary sources we have aside from the interviews, so they are perfectly quotable as we have to assume that every fact is checked by Nomura and his team. Lea's Keyblade
How did we get the image in that high definition? Is it possible to do that with the others?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:39, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- At least model and texture ripping is possible at the moment, though MayBeePah (from Xentax) was reverse engineering the files alone and is currently the only one who can do that, although he/she seems to be willing to share this stuff over at spriters/models resource. The ingame Keyblade item images (which I also got from him/her) are really not that great resolution-wise, so I would make new renders when the models become available. -- ShardofTruth 15:52, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- Any chance they've been able to rip Young Xenny's blade?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:05, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- It could be happen any day know, MayBeePah is currently releasing some converted models. Maybe we'll get the BBSFM HD version of Master Xehanort's Keyblade too. --ShardofTruth 14:50, 4 June 2015 (UTC)
- Any chance they're planning on releasing Dream Eater eyes?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:52, 4 June 2015 (UTC)

Bonus Challenges
Where are the bonus challenges for the original BBSFM? Are they only available in multiplayer? Chainoffire 21:40, 9 March 2015 (UTC)
- I don't think there were any. You got bonus medals for multiplayer, but there were no challenges. (I think.) --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 01:48, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- Neumannz is right, there weren't any bonus challenges in BBSFM. But there was something similar, the MVP (most valuable player) bonus, that you could get only while playing with other people, it also multiplied your gained medals by 1.5. Your basic medal reward was calculated by your placement in Damage, Friendship and Style. Each of these categories would increase your medals by 0.25% for the 1st place and 0.10% for the second place.
- Since you are always first place in Damage and Style when you play alone the medals count we currently display on the match pages already include these bonuses (the medal values without these bonuses are the one currently used for the ReMIX), while using a Friendship Command automatically also gives you 1st place in Friendship (even in Singleplayer), increasing the medals by another 0.25%. This is the "trick" Kryten was talking about.
- Basically this means that you will get the same amount of medals you got in the original BBS without Friendship Commands, when you complete the challenges in the ReMIX (not true for the 1.25 challenges though) but will definitely get less if you were playing multiplayer and were really good at it. On the other hand you will get more medals for Light's Lessons and Peering into Darkness (and the COmmand Board) now, as the maximum obtainable value was only 999 before. --ShardofTruth 09:36, 10 March 2015 (UTC)

χ Cards
Hey, I was wondering if this is okay for the Cards pages. If it is, I'll make it a template and start creating the pages. KeybladeSpyMaster 23:52, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
- This looks fantastic. I have just a minor improvement suggestion. The game actually sorts the cards in this way: Power, Speed, Magic. This is done in the same vein as it's always "Sora, Donald & Goofy" or "Terra (Power), Ventus (Speed) & Aqua (Magic)".
- Also, we should talk about the special cards (Moogle, Yen Sid, Fairy Godmother). The capture wiki simply lists them in their respective categories (as could we), the game's card album lists them in a special category (as seen here), because these cards can't be equipped in your deck. What do you think? Should there be another tab for these "Special" or "Other (その他)" cards or not?
- I will have more time on the weekend for the card pages, so I could probably finish all pages by Monday. --ShardofTruth 07:35, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
- I'll make the slight adjustment, then. As for the special cards, we could list them in a special category, if you like. That's fine with me, and if they're not equippable, than it makes the most sense to do so that way. We probably should, for the ones that apply, still list them in their respective rank pages, though, since they do have a rank. KeybladeSpyMaster 00:16, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
χ Coverage
Hey, Shard, first, I want to know if the card nav is okay before I move it to the actual template and move the card galleries to their respective pages. Second, I found this, and am wondering if this would be a valid summary/translation that we could use to fill the story sections of world articles for Kingdom Hearts χ. What do you think? KeybladeSpyMaster 03:05, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, I didn't noticed you already changed it. I think now it's perfectly fine to use it.:D
- As for Blackdrazon's summary, it's a really good starting point but a little short on the details for the wiki. I think the best way to get [chi]'s story covered is by collecting the story missions on the world's game subpage and write a summary using them and the cutscenes (which are generally more important). I just don't have not enough time to do that at the moment and you're leaving as well. I'm really sad to see you go. --ShardofTruth 18:39, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
- Well, I've created the nav template and moved the two card galleries we've made to their respective pages. For the summary, I guess you're right that we'd be better off collecting the missions like you said. Yeah, I'm leaving now, and I'm sorry I'll be leaving you with all this work and not be able to help out over the next while. But I sure do appreciate all the help and encouragement you've given me during this short time on the wiki. Thanks! KeybladeSpyMaster 17:13, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
Summon Limits
Would it be possible to find the japanese for these limits? I can't find them anyone on-wiki. Thanks! TheFifteenthMember 19:48, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
I might have taken notes here on them. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 06:39, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- And for a person without any Japanese proficiency like me, how do you transliterate the katakana into romaji? TheFifteenthMember 14:05, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
Two questions
First, I saw you uploaded new KHX Keyblade upgrades. Should I change the template to include them or are the stats not out yet? And if so, how many levels do the Keyblades have now?
Also, I wanted to ask you this before, I noticed you uploaded a texture rip of File:Glossary KH3D.png. Is it possible to get images of KH3D icons (like menu icons or Ability Link icons)? TheSilentHero 13:11, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
- Currently you can only upgrade the Keyblade to level 43, so I'm not sure how to handle this with the template. Also, I just know the stats for level 43 (those were published by SE here), I didn't have the means to upgrade a single one of them yet (those Adamants are really hard to come by).
- It should be possible to extract those icons, but I haven't found them yet. Maybe the game handles them differently, I don't know. Everything I've unearthed so far can be found here, maybe there is something in there that's still interesting for you. --ShardofTruth 16:54, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
X Keyblades
The second upgrade of these seems to match the Keyblades received by Sora. Do you know if the X story denotes these versions as special in anyway, or makes any kind of fourth wall reference to the identical forms? For example, does it call Starlight's second upgrade its "true form"?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 06:29, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
- Also, is there any way for us to get isolated keychain images?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 06:31, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
- The game doesn't acknowledge the Keyblade upgrade system at all, it's seems to be just an optional gameplay mechanic. So there is also no reason given why the Keyblades can be upgraded in the first place. Ephemera(l) for example uses the third upgrade of Starlight (wheras your party members are typically only shown with the basic variant in cutscenes), but it's never brought up in any dialogue.
- As for the Keychains tokens, I will upload them shortly. --ShardofTruth 13:39, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

BBS Party Member Sprites
Hey there, would you happen to know if anyone has ripped the party member sprites from BBS? Most of them are the same as their Dimension Link sprites, while the rest don't actually have Dimension Links (e.g. Prince Philip, Hercules). As far as I can search, there's nothing on the wiki. Would you be able to point me to any other resources? TheFifteenthMember 12:45, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
- I ripped them, you can find all of them here. As far as I know there are only sprites for Hercules, Phillip and Jaq. --ShardofTruth 09:08, 28 July 2015 (UTC)
KH1 and KHII Sprites
Are you gonna do more KHII Sprites and are you gonna do KH1 Sprites? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.116.53.47 (talk • contribs)
- Things look bad for the KH/RECOM sprites, maybe there is a way to get them but probably not. I still have the Sora/Roxas/Mickey sprites from KHII left (which I will upload soon) but not the rest, maybe I can dig them up but don't count on it. --ShardofTruth 09:26, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
Absent Silhouette Images
I see that you are busy ripping images, so if you don't happen to get to this message, it's no big deal. I was wondering if we could possibly get some higher quality images for the Absent Silhouettes. Zexion has a pretty good one, but with 2.5 out, is it possible to get HD ones? Also, could you point towards any tutorials on how to rip images from games? Chainoffire 07:11, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- The problem with the Absent Silhouettes are twofold: They are no simple sprites but animated objects and they vanish after you defeated them. To get good images of them you basically have to edit a screenshot (which Erry has done in case of Zexion's) but since there are no good screenshots available, only blurry videos, you would have to take one yourself and since they disappear, you need a save before you fight them to get one.
- I would be able to take a good screenshot but I don't have savegames before they disappear and absolutely no time at the moment for a speed-run of KHIIFM until you reach Twilight Town for the 2nd time.
- There is basically no difference between the original KHIIFM and its Remix version texture-wise. The sprites were mostly redrawn, some game menus and the animated command menu were upscaled but the rest stayed (almost) the same, this is most definitely true for all effects of which the Absent Silhouettes is one.
- About tutorials: What you have to know is that all ripping (be it sprites, textures, models, sounds etc.) either requires an emulator (for console games), specific dumper tools or the ability to unpack game files to reach the stuff inside. The VG Resource is a good place to start since they have a wiki, ripping help subforums with tutorials and very friendly users. If you're specifically interested in ripping stuff from Kingdom Heart games we should chat sometimes, it's a lot easier this way since I don't want to write a novel here;-)
- It's not as complicated as it sounds, but can be a bit time consuming and sometimes hardware demanding. --ShardofTruth 09:26, 30 July 2015 (UTC)
- If I were to get better, non-blurry screenshots, would you be able to take out the backgrounds for them? I'm not too good at taking out backgrounds without leaving a white line or destroying the image.
- I have both of those, we'll have to have a chat sometime then, although my schedule is rather tight, so I'm not sure how possible it would be to set up a meeting, but if you have an email that might be easier. In the meantime, I'll play around with the tutorials a bit. Hopefully this will alleviate some of the pressure off of you to rip everything. ^^ Chainoffire
- With an emulator I would be able to make some parts of the background disappear before making the screenshot, but good non-blurry ones (probably with a 1st person close-up) would also help a lot. I'll ask around, maybe someone has savegames to share before fighting the silhouettes.
- We can also discuss the ripping stuff here, it's just the I won't answer immediatly. If you tell me, with which game(s) you'd like to start I can explain the basics. --ShardofTruth 08:04, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
- If someone has save games that'd be great. If not, I can just do a quick beginner's mode run and get the 1st person close up screenshots.
- Well I tried using this tutorial, but I couldn't get it to cycle through the textures on the screen. I'm attempting to get a model of memory's skyscraper (KHIIFM, PCSX2) since DE won't let The Keyhole use his renders.
- By the way, I see that someone got into KH3D. Yay for official renders! Chainoffire 04:24, 2 August 2015 (UTC)
- No, I'm using 1.2.1, so what should I use? Chainoffire 07:38, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- Then you need to download the 0.9.8 version from DemonBoy's Tutorial, you can't use the savestates you might have created with the 1.2.1 version, but there shouldn't be a problem with the virtual memory card. Anyway, there is an easier method to get the Memory Skycraper model. Download Noesis from here, download the Kingdom Hearts 2 plugin (by revelation) from here and the map file from here. Open the map file in Noesis and export the model of the city, now open the model in a 3D program of your choice, bam. To extracted more models from Kingdom hearts II Final Mix, please use GovanifY's KH2FM Toolkit (can be downloaded here, use the "-help" option to extract the readme.txt with instructions). --ShardofTruth 17:46, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- Bit of a problem, when I try to open/export the map file, a notification pops up that says "File could not be previewed.". Also, I tried to go to GovanifY's blogspot, (the link you gave me doesn't work, so I had to google it and it lead me to a blogspot.) and it says the blog has been discontinued (As of Janurary 2015) and when I click on the sidebar for KH2FM_Toolkit, the domain no longer exists. :/ Chainoffire 01:49, 2 September 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what the problem with the toolkit is, the site worked fine for me a month ago. I'm also not sure what's wrong with exporting the map. Can you view it in Noesis at least? You can toggle between various models (when the map files contains more than one) by clicking on the button with the three skeletons, so you should see more than the skybox. Also try to export from preview instead if the normal one doesn't work. --ShardofTruth 14:43, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
KHII Ultimania Q
I'm trying to figure out what it says on this page of the KHII Ultimania, particularly at the bottom section, but the complexity of the kanji and the quality of the scan togather make it very hard to tell what it's trying to say. Is it possible to get a higher quality scan of this page? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 23:11, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
- KH13 should have the HQ scan (I'm their source), it's just not displaying for some reason. Here's the original. Ultima Spark (talk) 04:04, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
Re:coded this time!
Ah, sorry to bother you again! In my quest to revamp the Party Members page, I also need the Re:coded sprites and I can't find them anywhere on the internet. Here's two screenshots to show you what I mean. Would you be able to help find them by any chance? TheFifteenthMember 22:10, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
- I already extraced them ages ago, this is all I could find back then. The Spriter's Resource only lists some of them. Since my memories of Re:coded are a bit fuzzy I guess you really only need the sprites for Sora (?), Donald, Goofy, Hercules and Cloud to be uploaded, don't you? --ShardofTruth 22:40, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
Ultimania Request
Do you have the Re:coded Ultimania? If so, could you get me scans of the enemy pages, if you have the time? I would like to start adding the stats to the wiki. TheSilentHero 16:55, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- It's not about adding the stats but understanding them first, here are some discussions and examples on this topic. ShardofTruth 17:31, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- I think I understand most of it. You have to multiply the stat value of the enemy by the stat value of the enemy's level. I can't find what level the enemies are, though. Does this depend on the world, or maybe Data-Sora's level? Also, have you figured out what the value in brackets is? I think it's the stats of the bugged Heartless in the System Sectors. TheSilentHero 18:26, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, multiplying the stat values with a level is always how it works, but I think the problem was something about the EXP values being different in various scenarios. You should really talk with Pea or Kryten about this, I really don't have the time to dive into this matter at the moment, maybe next week. If you need pages scanned, tell me which and I try to get them done. --ShardofTruth 18:03, 15 August 2015 (UTC)

Image manipulation
I can't even remember anymore, is stuff like this considered acceptable by our policies?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 04:37, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
- It's not manipulated, I even linked the original scan in the summary, it's the complete image. Or do you mean something different? --ShardofTruth 06:08, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry, I had not seen the latest revision. I guess changing the contrast, the color balance and saturation is an okay thing to do for scans, we don't really have a policy about that since the outcome is mostly subjective (and influenced more by the screen you look at). The reason I leave some pixels of white space around the renders is because it reduces compression effects around the image's edges when it's shrinked by the wiki software. Again, this is mostly subjective. --ShardofTruth 21:35, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
Other Sky
It's mentioned in Chapter 3 (Wonderland), the very first sentence. I don't know if we can use the name "Other Sky" though, since the novels are considered non-canon (I think). TheSilentHero 11:22, 26 August 2015 (UTC)
Kingdom hearts ii has a command menu that changes whenever you head to a world. So I was wondering if you could extract the files for it. 76.116.53.47 03:35, 6 September 2015 (UTC)
- These are just the textures, if not specified otherwise the "zz0"-variants (standard command menu) are always used for the different layers. --ShardofTruth 11:07, 6 September 2015 (UTC)

- No galleries are good for storage and they are already present on the wiki so there would be no hassle to upload images that are already there. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 16:42, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
- The screenshots served absolutely no purpose on the page, you didn't even caption them. If the development and the individual game sections get longer some of them can probably return, it just looked out of place the the way it was before. --ShardofTruth 16:49, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
- No one seems to complain about it on the Disney Wiki. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 16:53, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
- In a strange coincidence, the KH Wiki, where this issue is being discussed, is not the Disney Wiki, where allegedly it would not be discussed.
- In all seriousness, we don't need to upload every image of something that we can create."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:41, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
- I was only using Disney Wiki as an example. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 18:42, 15 September 2015 (UTC)

Armored Ventus Nightmare Keyblade
Hi, are you sure that () is really his Keyblade ? I expected this to be completely black and shiny. -- BraviDunno 13:58, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
- You are right, it looks awfully similar to the Keyblade of AntiSora () (which also appear at the end of DDD) but according to MayBeePah all weapon models were extracted. I image that the Keyblade of Armored Ventus Nightmare could us a different material or an additional texture to emulate the oily look and this one wasn't extracted yet. Since there is no good footagage of the Keyblade (because of the 3DS's bad resolution) I can't really say which is the case. --ShardofTruth 21:24, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
CoM Ultimania request
I know you posted scans somewhere, but I can't find them, and none of the fansites seem to have them either. Could you link me to the scan for CoM (not ReCoM) Ansem, or just give me the names of his sleights?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:51, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
- I just had the stats uploaded ages ago, I don't have any scans of the sleights at hand sorry. I can probably make some next week, do you want the other CoM bosses too? --ShardofTruth 20:48, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
- If you want, but I can honestly just go on nihongo here. I'm just trying to confirm what Rockshatter was in the original Japanese game."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 12:31, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- Cool, that works! It confirms that "Rockshatter" only appeared in the English game, and was a translation error."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:13, 20 October 2015 (UTC)

Quick question
You've ripped quite a good bit of stuff from chi already. I was wondering if you managed to extract a high quality version of the chi logo - preferably in pieces? --Webber22 (talk) 06:40, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- I don't think there is a high-quality version to be found in the game files since the logo is always a small image ingame. There is this cutscene, where the logo is animated for the first time, so at least you can use the different pieces. I uploaded the images here. --ShardofTruth 07:56, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- Hm, I was kind of hoping it had a clean version of the complete letter, but this will also do. Thank you! :)
- Oh boy lol. I'm gonna have to bug you for just one more thing and I'll get out of your hair. Do you have the BBS HD UI textures ripped, like with KH2 HD up above? --Webber22 (talk) 16:41, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- I put everything I found in this archive, since there are so many different UI elements there are probably still things missing. If you tell me what you still need, I might be able to find it. --ShardofTruth 15:34, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- This is precisely what I was looking for. Thanks. :) Though I'll admit, it was kind of hard to find - it seems like it's all just strewn about randomly. So with that, I think I'm all done pestering you! But I do have one last question lol - do you have like an archive online, or a blog, where you put all this stuff up? Or do you to it only by request? --Webber22 (talk) 16:59, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- I put everything I found in this archive, since there are so many different UI elements there are probably still things missing. If you tell me what you still need, I might be able to find it. --ShardofTruth 15:34, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
- I'm glad I could help you. And no, I don't have any blog or some online archive (apart from my mediafire folder, it's just a lot of unsorted stuff though), the reason being I'm often only looking through the game files to find things that can be used on the wiki and it's not really perfectly legal to upload a huge amount of game files anywhere. --ShardofTruth 17:33, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Pretty awesome what you can do in half an hour when you have the right assets: That was just some random thing I cooked up to see what I can do with all the stuff you included. The magic trick was actually image 355 - it allowed me to manipulate the font gradient however I wanted without messing with the logo's border. :3 Beautiful stuff! In any case, if you ever get around to uploading the rest of the logos in pieces (HD), let me know about it lol. Lots of fun stuff can be had from them. So, thanks again! --Webber22 (talk) 07:25, 16 October 2015 (UTC)
- Great work on this logo it's looks convincingly offical. I think the original Kingdom Heartless logo is never in pieces apart from the cgi movie and I can't unpack the one from Kingdom Hearts II (HD) it's some kind of strange (or incomplete) image format. Maybe I get around it with some help but it seems to be the only file causing problems. I could only send you the normal non-HD version. --ShardofTruth 18:09, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
Render request
Would you be able to rip the model of the original Highwind raft (from any game), as well as the fetch quest items?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:47, 29 October 2015 (UTC)
- Since MayBeePah has gone into silence mode again and to this day nobody really knows how to extract the level objects of the original Kingdom Hearts, model rips are out of question I'm afraid. But I can probably make some better looking screenshots and crop them (still working on the gummi ship models by the way, I'm just constantly finding myself doing other things). I'm trying to get it done today. --ShardofTruth 06:36, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
Invitation
Hey there, Shard, this is an invitation for you to take part in our end of year event! You can sign up as either a participant or a judge and it'd be great if you could come aboard. Thanks! TheFifteenthMember 22:01, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
Another request
Hey there! This is probably too soon lol....but, can you upload the UI assets and textures for both KHFM and Re:CoM? The HD versions specifically. Thanks! --Webber22 (talk) 22:08, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
- I don't have it and I really don't know how to access it. Both the original Kingdom Hearts and Re:Chain of Memories are mostly uncharted territory, all sprites/gauges I could extract in the past were made with an emulator, something that doesn't exist for the PS3 versions. All I still have are some of the non-HD UI elements like this and some very strange beta cards from ReCoM. --ShardofTruth 10:15, 7 November 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. :) And it's alright. I'll figure something out for the rest of them.--Webber22 (talk) 19:05, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

Ultimania request
Can you please link scans/cellphone photos of the KH2 and KH2FM ultimania pages for the Silver Rock? I think you've scanned them before, but I need to see whether the Ultimania claims it appears in Halloween Town. KHχ cutscene
I wonder if you could help me with this: in the second-to-last Wonderland cutscene, whenever I play it, there's a graphic bug involving Queen of Hearts (in the last parts of the scene). I saw it in walthroughs on YouTube to display correctly, so I wonder if there's a promleb on my side, or does it display incorrectly everywhere now. Is there a possibility for you to check it?--109.173.173.78 21:43, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
- You mean this glitch? This definitely didn't happen for me the first time the cutscene played, I'm not sure what changed though, maybe it's related to flash update. --ShardofTruth 22:19, 6 December 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, this one. Thanks for checking.--109.173.173.78 01:18, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
Extraction Request
I have another request for you, but this one is going to be a little bit weird and different - potentially undoable! But if it can be done, it'd be awesome and could be a boon for the wiki. The HD Re:coded film contains static images with text and voice-over narration by Mickey between certain scenes. Is it possible to extract these images (without the text)? The same for 358/2 Days, but you've previously told me you had a tough time cracking 1.5. --Webber22 (talk) 04:44, 31 December 2015 (UTC)
- The problem with 1.5 and 2.5 is the new model format for KHFM/KHIIFM/BBSFM, the two game movies use something entirely different. I already tried to extract them to see if some of 358/2 Days' upgraded Heartless models can be found among the files but I had no luck with the encryption of any of them. It doesn't seem to be normal sdata encryption and without a PS3 with custom firmware my methods to experiment are really limited. I'm also not that well-versed in this stuff, same with Unchained were I pretty much have the same problem. --ShardofTruth 18:53, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
Unchained cutscene
Do you have any access to Unchained cutscenes or to their text files (or maybe you play it yourself)? Do you know if there's a difference in the script between chi and Unchained in the scene where Ava talks without Chirithy (the scene is called "Unchained" in chi). I think Unchained story already reached this point. Thanks in advance.--LeafShinobi (talk) 23:02, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
- There is no difference in any of the new movie scenes. Generally, the only differences I've noticed so far between the scripts of the two games (besides the integrated/expanded 1st Anniversary event) is a slightly changed monologue for the Chirithy that gives you the Strength bangle to collect Guilt (probably since the mechanic quite different in Unchained) and the dialogues with the female Keyblade wielder near the Moogle and pumpkin head Keyblade wielder who was moved to Agrabah somehow (he is near the lighthouse in Daybreak Town in [chi]).
- You can find an album of these scenes here, I haven't translated them yet though. --ShardofTruth 23:38, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the answer.--LeafShinobi (talk) 05:16, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
Models
Do you know anything about modeling and posing software, from simple stuff like XNALara to more complex like Poser and Blender? --Webber22 (talk) 23:13, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
- I have some basic knowledge how to work with blender, but not enough to succesfully rig and animate a model, I simply don't have the same time to get seriously into that. I've heard of XNALara but never worked with it. I make most of my model images with Noesis using game animations when available.
- If you need a master of this craft you should contact Soxra, sadly he's not active here anymore maybe you have more luck on his Deviantart page. --ShardofTruth 09:17, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
Possessor Herd and Gummi Squad
Can you check those to confirm they are accurate? They did not already have pages created."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:54, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
- Should be correct now. --ShardofTruth 20:35, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, so they are functionally groups of Possessers and Gummi Thrusters? Should we note that on the Possessor/Gummi Thruster pages, or just link them as variant species? Also, is the kana right, or fanmade?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:06, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
- You are right, technically they are just a group of these Heartless but they behave differently (e.g. coordinating their attacks), they have a different name and are counted as separate enemies in the game. The Card Corps would be another example. I'm not completely sure how to categorize them but if the game keeps them separate, maybe we should too. A list with all current enemies in [chi] can be found here. It should also be noted that you always fight against a single enemy in [chi] and even though these two look like a group they can only be attacked as one and will only attack as one themselves. For comparison in Unchained there are mixed groups of enemies or groups or Gummi Thrusters for example, but they can be attacked one by one. --ShardofTruth 09:58, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, I think the way the articles are written now works, then. What do you think?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:00, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

Raid Boss
Can you please check the info for Raid Boss, in regards to Unchained? The writeup appears to lack the official terms, and per its claim that each boss drops items from a certain set, we should probably add that to their infoboxes or to the page itself, in a table format."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:48, 27 February 2016 (UTC)
Command boards
Hey Shard, do you know what information the Ultimania has on Command Boards. We especially need confirmation on the bonus panels that appear in each world (see this thread). Thank you! TheFifteenthMember 18:10, 28 February 2016 (UTC)

Sephiroth in KH and KH2 Ultimania
Shard, can you confirm this edit? Also, I am trying to clean up the Game:Sephiroth page, and could use the scans from the KHFM and KH2 Ultimania describing his attacks (I think Sneasel got them from a different game, or a fansite). Also, please see this -- I don't know if we want to make that into a Forum, or something similar, in order to have a centralized location for Ultimania requests? Also, if you remember any of the addresses you've given in the past for zips of ultimania files, they can go there. I tried to list everyone I could find, but I know there's more 'cause I can't find where the CoM and ReCoM boss zips went, for starters."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:58, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
- The edit is correct, Sephiroth is listed as level 80 in the stats table (original here). His attacks in KHII can be seen here and here, I can get scans for KH in two weeks. ShardofTruth16:53, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Not sure if you've already provided this somewhere, but now I'm hoping to get pictures of the following:
- Riku (each variant) in KH 1 2 3, KH2 1, Days 1 2
- Ansem (each variant) in KH 1 2 3 4 5 6, CoM 1 2, ReCoM 1 2, DDD 1 2 3
- Xemnas (each variant) in KH 1, KH2 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9, KH2FM 1 2 3, DDD 1
- I'd like to start with KH1 Ansem (World of Chaos) first, and this has no time limit. Thanks!"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:48, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
- No problem, I can get them next week. I linked the already scanned pages from KH13 above. --ShardofTruth 18:41, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
- For Ansem in CoM, is there a profile for the first fight, listing stats or attacks?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:31, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
- Also, why are some techniques green in Dream Drop?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:05, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
- Physical attacks are black and magical attacks are green. TheSilentHero 18:01, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
- So we need a new column for DDD. Okay."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:03, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
- Or not, that would mean a new Atk template too. How does it look if I just include it with the Attribute?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:31, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
- You could also use different colors. I uploaded the rest of the scans and linked them above, I also scanned the whole CoM enemy section so all differences should become apparent now. KH(FM) Sephiroth can be found here if you're still interested in him. The explanations for the enemy stats can also be found in the albums on the Ultimania talk page. --ShardofTruth 16:32, 11 March 2016 (UTC)

Gummi save files
Hey, Shard. I'm done with the enemy gummi ships (although I'm pretty sure Ifrit B isn't 100% correct). I also extracted the save files with the program you linked. How do I send you the save files? TheSilentHero 18:28, 6 March 2016 (UTC)

KH Remix Ends of the Earth
It seems like the Ends of the Earth model in KH 2.5 BBS is updated from the flat one in the original PSP version. Would you happen to have a model rip of that? Or even the textures. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 175.144.239.78 (talk • contribs)
- Every Keyblade model got a visual overhaul in the ReMIX, most importantly Master Xehanort's Keyblade. I don't have the models here because it was too much work to sift through all the nameless (hashed) encrypted files and there is no way to view them yet. I've read that the actual format is not that much different from the one used in the original games (which isn't the case for the first ReMIX) besides being in big endian and using gtf textures obviously. That's why I can't help you with the models itself, but at least the textures can be found here. --ShardofTruth 12:18, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
KH Remix Lingering Will
Can I have the textures of Lingering Will from 2.5's KH2FM and KHBBS? Terra's armor, that is. By the way, shouldn't the model files have the textures of the keyblades? Why have you only ripped the textures? - 19 March 2016
- Generally speaking the textures in KHIIFM 2.5 were only enlarged (noticeable by the pixel artifacts) while those in KHBBSFM 2.5 were redrawn or may have been preserved in higher resolution in the first place since the PSP's hardware was weaker. I packed all texture versions of Terra's and Aqua's armor in this archive, so you can see it for yourself.
- As for the ripping models and textures: It's always easier to rip textures since they are often "just" images, in case of the PS3 they mostly also use the same image format in every game, so you can extract and convert them if you know what you're looking for. You can also extract the models of course (you just need beginning and length of the file) but since the stored information (geometry, bone structure, links to other models etc.) is practically different for every game, you just can't use them right away, at least not without the special tools Square Enix used to create them.
- So what you would have to do is to map the model file, find out how it works and this takes knowledge, time and some talent. Some of the cool and talented people in the KH community figured these out for most of the past games but it doesn't seem there is much interest for the HD ReMIXes, maybe Final Chapter Prologue wiill ignit this spark again, who knows? --ShardofTruth 12:02, 19 March 2016 (UTC)
Juggle Pup/R&R Seal dice and eyes
Do you know if there are rips for the sides of the seal Spirits die, and the eyes of the various Spirits? I think the folder I have has the yellow eyes, but I can't find the purple, green, and blue."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:38, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- I don't have it either and still can't extract the missing eye textures. There is a good chance we'll get them with the release of Final Chapter Prologue. --ShardofTruth 14:02, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- What about the Flick Rush cards?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:26, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- That would be no problem, but I don't know the names of these cards. Is there a list? --ShardofTruth 19:33, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- Not really, but I'm sure working together the wiki could make one. There's definitely multiple commands for each one.
- While we're on that topic, would you happen to have access or video access to the Japanese version of the game? Apparently the Ultimania claims that certain Spirits get higher-level spells that don't appear in the English version (at least, not at the same levels), and we're trying to confirm whether it's a localization difference or the Ultimania is just wrong. See Talk:Majik Lapin."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 22:51, 1 April 2016 (UTC)

- What about the Flick Rush cards?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:26, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
I'm fairly confident all the red cards will have multiple names. I believe they're 1A to 2C. Not confident, but fairly sure that blue cards (I believe 2D to 6F) will also have multiple names, but haven't found them yet. Not sure what the names of the slot cards are, but as far as symbols go, "Cherry", "Bell", and "7" should be fine. We should probably just name them something like "Red 1", etc. The evolved commands, though, you can probably name after their command. I don't think we need to do card backs for these, but if you have the backgrounds somewhere and want to, we could."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:01, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- The Ultimania doesn't list these, except the tie-breaker cards, which are called 7, Bell (ベル), and Cherry (チェリー). For the other cards, maybe we can find a pattern. Like, the first one seems to be used a lot for scratching/slashing attacks, and the third one is used for biting attacks.
- Some time ago, I made these Lucky Dice icons from an Ultimania scan. The quality is pretty bad, but it's probably better than nothing. TheSilentHero 09:59, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
- I put the two color variants of all cards in this archive, so you can upload them with the names you want.
- As for the Dream Eater ability differences: I don't have the Japanese version myself, but I know someone who got this game. Maybe I can get photos of the some high-leveled Dream Eaters, so we can at least check which abilities evolve and which don't. --ShardofTruth 00:01, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- For the evolved commands, is it possible to upload those with the evolved card backs? They have Meow Wow shape."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:32, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, apparently this is more complicated than I thought, I need help with the colors. It seems there are five of them: red (attack), blue (magic), purple (status effects), green (healing) and orange (?) while only the blue, purple and green cards seem to have evolved Meow Wow variants. What I need to know is which icon is normal, which is evolved and what color the card has, so I can provide the correct images. --ShardofTruth 22:53, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- For the evolved commands, is it possible to upload those with the evolved card backs? They have Meow Wow shape."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:32, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- What's with the question marks?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:00, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- Also, I've started a draft on Talk:Flick Rush, as well as a list of all Flick Rush commands in the game, including the Spirits who use them. The tiebreaker cards should have red cardbacks, since you only see the player's version of them."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 03:40, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- I removed the list and put in the information in your draft, the questions marks were just wild guesses. I also didn't notice before that the tiedbreaker cards use the same backgrounds as the other cards, so I'll put them on it too. I should have enough references for the colors now to get the backgrounds right. I will probably have to update the red and blue cards too since my former source was too bright, now I use the videos released my Square Enix. --ShardofTruth 10:01, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- Why in all the hells does the 3DS make it impossible to take screenshot directly from the system?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 22:41, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you, I'll replace the images soon. A 3DS screenshot function would have solved so many problems by now, but strangely enough it's only really coming around this console generation. ShardofTruth 22:46, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- Done and done. The purple cards should be correct, I took the colors directly from the Flick Rush video on SE's DDD website. --ShardofTruth 23:37, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- I uploaded two versions of an image to give a better shot of the orange and purple cards, if that will help. Looking at the orange cards, the common theme is that they modify the commands available (or modify percentages, in Scan's case). They unlock the commands that are purple in the "change party" Flick Rush list, so maybe we could call them "Command cards" or "Unlock cards"?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:46, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- How about "Shift cards"? Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 04:34, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- I can take screenshots if you want. (Go to the IRC and ask Grim-Ripper if you want to know how.) I don't think the sound card modifies the available commands, so maybe we should just call them "Other cards". TheSilentHero 07:10, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, "Other cards" will work. I can't find any effect to the musical ones beyond appearing to slightly delay the enemy."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:03, 5 April 2016 (UTC)

Unchained Keyblades
Are you able to confirm if Moogle of Glory and Divine Rose are in Unchained?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:52, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- Only Divine Rose at the moment. Unchained and web [chi] will most likely catch up next week so apart from some side story stuff (Crystals of Light, 2nd Anniversary and Dark Corridor Trials) the main content should be pretty much the same from then on. --ShardofTruth 22:05, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the information.--LeafShinobi (talk) 22:08, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
KHUX redirects
Are we going to keep the redirects from the old names of things to the new ones? Or should they be deleted? (ie. Achoo Mole -> Nosy Mole) Chainoffire 01:52, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
- I think in some cases the Japanese name is left as redirect, mostly for enemies and Keyblades, but I'm not completely sure about it myself. --ShardofTruth 09:39, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
- Japanese names should always be kept as a redirect. If anything is missing those redirects, we need to add them."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 11:47, 8 April 2016 (UTC)
Help with Unchained
Greetings! I would just like to personally offer my help with this project. If you have any questions, I can probably answer most of them. At present, I am Level 53 if that helps. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 22:37, 9 April 2016 (UTC)
KHUX Keyblade mandalas
Just noticed that each Keyblade has a different "mandala" on its Equip screen. Would you be able to get those as well? Do they change when the Keyblade upgrades?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:13, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- They stay the same the whole time. As of now I would only be able to take screenshots, but I can't remove the medal slots (or their glow) without some heavy editing. I'm still confident that we'll get all of Unchained's stuff eventually, I'm working on it. But I'm also an amateur on peeking into undocumented files system, there are still many things I don't have a grasp of yet. --ShardofTruth 22:59, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
khux
I took a screenshot of this week's rankings, as well as the top five and the reasserts. Chainoffire 18:39, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- And I have last week's rankings written down. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 19:15, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
- If one of you could check every week if the ranking rewards were changed and write them down here somewhere, that would be great.--ShardofTruth 18:12, 20 April 2016 (UTC)
- As far as I know, the rewards don't change. I'll check next week to find out for sure though. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 21:04, 20 April 2016 (UTC)

New Keyblade Upgrades
I saw you uploaded more upgrades. In what level do they upgrade and what is the final level now? I'll update the template as soon as I can. TheSilentHero 07:05, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- They change form with level 50 which seems to be the very last level for [chi]. I don't have all recipes (they will probably be the same for every Keyblade) and stats ready, you simply need too many Electrum and they are very rare at the moment.
- I don't know what this means for Unchained honestly. They already use the fourth (final?) upgrade for the Moogle of Glory, so I'm unsure if we'll ever see levels 25+ for any of the Keyblades in this game, but that could still be very well the case when they introduce an Electrum challenge too.
- I'm not really happy that these new shiny effect takes so much space. I had to add more white space to the images of the other forms so they would still overlap, but they look odd now. If we only show the final upgrade in a tab like with the Unchained Keyblades it may look better if we revert the other images, I don't know. If it isn't too distracting I could also include animations for these final forms and the Moogle of Glory Keyblade forms, but they would be much smaller and rendered on a white background. --ShardofTruth 08:29, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
I saw you updated the Keyblade pages again. What is the max level for Unchained now? TheSilentHero 14:15, 16 May 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not really sure, probably 30. You could only get one of each "new" jewel needed for the upgrades past level 25 during a limited event which made Starlight the only Keyblade to even reach level 27 while the other couldn't progress past level 26. --ShardofTruth 19:56, 16 May 2016 (UTC)~
Rooms
Since the rooms are rippable in KHX, would you be able to help me start uploading them to this and unchained wiki? I'm going to try and go through to get the official English names of each room, but if you want to go on the Japanese names or even simply "Wonderland Room 1 KHX.png" for now, that would be fine. Probably would help to categorize these as something like "Wonderland images", etc., in addition to standard licensing. It looks like there's different versions of many rooms due to lighting effects, so I don't know what we should do there -- pick the one with the best contrast/least abnormalities, or what?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:14, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- The rooms with different lighting are often seen in cutscenes only, additionally there are rooms that only appear in cutscenes in the first place and rooms that don't appear in Unchained at all while others won't have an official translation since no story mission starts in them. The translation list on the project world talk page should be up-to-date now. I can upload the stuff starting tomorrow if you want. --ShardofTruth 19:55, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Where did you say the room rips were, again? I thought they were at khinsider but I can't find them."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:24, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
Ripping request
For the KHUX Wiki's Main Page, we want to display the current events/daily dungeons. I found banners like these for the Daily Dungeons, and I was wondering if you could get the English version of these (if they have banners). TheSilentHero 11:30, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
- I can make screenshots of them but that's about it at the moment. --ShardofTruth 12:50, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
- I've been taking screenshots of them, and since they're rectangular a quick gimp crop should do well enough. I'll link the dropbox for all my screenshots tonight. If I forget, yell at me. And join KHUx, so you can yell at me in-game."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:23, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- I won't join since they already banned me from the rankings, most likely because I was trying to manipulate the local files that store bits of the game progress. I guess hacking millions of Lux and stealing top ranking places from legimate players is A-ok but peeking behind the curtain isn't. (´(00)`) I just don't feel like starting all over again, so I wouldn't be of any help. ShardofTruth 17:06, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- That's...awful. Were you at least able to get good data? Maybe hopefully if you file a support request and explain what you were doing, they'll reinstate you."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:36, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- Don't sweat it, that was the risk I was taking (which was not really worth it in the end, all options are extremely limited). I can still rank in the Japanese version, I'm playing the NA one just for the translations anyway. :D --ShardofTruth 07:53, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Here's what I have so far. I included the best I could do to record the opening -- if you know a way to tape multiple mp4s together, I would love that. I've tried avidemux but it flipped them upside down for some reason."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:23, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

Unchained NPC Players
Would you be able to reconstruct the NPCs using these screenshots? I think some also show up in the Foreteller intro scene."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:20, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- I can rip the wielders that appear in the game and during story sequences but I still don't know how the Avatar system, that puts on all those clothes on your and other players' characters, works. It's much more complicated than Re:coded that's for sure. --ShardofTruth 07:53, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- What about the Foreteller intro scene?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 01:44, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
- I went through and identified each one. There's eight total, on a loop."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:07, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
- I think I got them all now. One is always running and I'm too big of a noob with flash to get the standing position right. The last two players are part of the backgrounds and will not move at all, so the images's quality is not as good as with the others. --ShardofTruth 12:14, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
- I forgot: In the latest story scene with Foreteller Ava another 20 of these guys show up (all new), but a photo of the scene would probably enough. --ShardofTruth 12:43, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
- Probably, yeah. That would do well as the lead image, since the tab thing fell out of control.
- Question. So far all the one's I've seen (WR, Mission 3, Mission 231) are members of the same Union. Does this hold true for the 401-411 and 420 characters, as well as the ones in the latest story scene?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:48, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- They don't talk about it so there is no way to be sure. The 20 new players in the last cutscene are most likely gathered from different Unions, at least that's what's implied in the scenes before. I've added another three wielders from the [chi]-exclusive daily Team Battle result screen. That's 21 now, probably good enough for every x-blade out there. --ShardofTruth 20:21, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

- Hah, okay. We might need to put them in a separate list, then, or rename it back to "Other Players". I'm torn.
- Some questions. This one says its in the weekly Ranking. I'm assuming that's the KHX not KHUX version. Have I recorded these correctly?
- Also, are those who appear in the 231 and 401/420 story quests participating in the same basic story in X, or is it a different storyline?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:32, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- Just for clarification here are some screenshot from [chi]: Daily Team Battle, Weekly Ranking 1, Weekly Ranking 2. I'm currently unsure if any of your party members actually appears in the parade (have to check on Sunday) but unlike in Unchained the top players of your Union aren't shown at all. The order seems to be correct and the people appearing in the story mission are the same in both games, the only difference here is that pumpkin head appears in Agrabah instead of Daybreak Town. --ShardofTruth 20:52, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
- The one you labeled Weekly Ranking 1 says "Team Formation" on it, tho."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:53, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
- Went through and relabeled them all based on the slides. Not sure if I'm using the correct terms, and not sure how to clarify that some are depicted as members of the Union for certain rankings, and as opposing Unions for others. Also, we're missing one top right here."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:19, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
- Of the three links you posted, they say "Team Battle", "Team Formation", and "Rankings Announcement". The Rankings Announcement looks to be the X version of the Weekly Solo Rankings, is this correct? Everyone on the sidelines is the same, the only difference is the NPCs following the player down the road. Also, is the "Team Formation" slide part of "Team Battle"? There's only the one character unique to that, and it otherwise looks the same as the makeup of the Team Battle slide."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:30, 1 June 2016 (UTC)

The Team Formation is only played right after the weeks ends (before the Ranking Announcement), probably to signal that you are in a party (?), I don't really know. The Ranking Announcement is indeed the same as the Weekly Solo Rankings, the Union rankings look almost the same in both games too. I will add the missing wielder soon. As for the darker characters: I can't remember seeing them in the game ever. So either that's unused promo material or taken from the closed beta, where I was never part of but I think Erry was. --ShardofTruth 19:33, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
Recipes
Should we just have those in a next-higher level of tab, instead of two sections for each game? I know the MoS says to have a section for each game version, but due to the unique nature of the Keyblade recipes, it seems reasonable to suggest an exception."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:07, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- I think this would be a good idea, as it is they make the page much longer without reason. --ShardofTruth 07:53, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
Continuation from TheSilentHero's Talk Page
|
I was the other person who voted for keeping the April Fools article ("If we really want to go for all or nothing, I say we keep the articles."). TheSilentHero 19:33, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
- While I am a strong proponent of rehabilitation (though I must admit that I didn't remember Webber's full history during past events), I can also see the logic in cutting ties with someone who refuses to acknowledge that there is even an issue to resolve. I'm a bit hazy on the details of this case -- has Webber responded at all to the warning he was given? If not, I don't think we need to increase the punitive measures without a new trigger. If he has, then it's really on him to demonstrate a willingness to make amends."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:14, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
- @TheSilentHero: You did in the beginning, but not after when I asked for final call. You never said anything, even when I saw you on the Who's Online thing. I figured your stance has changed about it since you didn't vote. My bad, then, TheSilentHero. My apologies.
- @Kryten: Yeah, I'm, like, really shocked how much the wiki really let Webber22 get away with this. I'm actually appalled when I was reviewing his past transgressions when I trying to decide on how long should I block him. His longest block was 3 months, by Neumz-senpai. Second longest was one month. If this was a first-time thing, I would've just blocked Webber22 for 3 days or something, but when I reviewed his block logs, my mind changed because I saw how many times this one user got blocked, came back, and then get blocked again for the same reason over and over again. It made me question on what truly was the best course of action to take. And no, after the warning template was given to TheSilentHero, Webber22 refused to acknowledge the reason why he got in the first place. TheSilentHero can vouch for that since he was the one who gave it to him. So, the question is, what do you guys think that should be done here? Both you, ShardofTruth, and Kryten are both advocating something other than a block/ban.--NinjaSheik 20:55, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
- So you want to ban him because despite putting the warning on Webber's userpage the situation still wasn't resolved for you. His past behavior (all addressed with blocks and warnings) and his potential future behavior serve as another main motivation. "Shady" was the wrong word to describe it, but I'm feeling I'm missing something here, why do you want him to punish him for the same things twice, was there more I don't know about? I remember Webber's past well enough to know that he really did better himself, even became Featured User not long ago. I don't think that a ban is helpful or even justified now, but that's just my opinion on this matter. --ShardofTruth 21:38, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
As far as I see, Ninja handled everything by the policy and doesn't really deserve the criticism that is being implied. We're a small community and we should not be fighting amongst ourselves, especially seeing as we're the staff. I'd like to ask that the tension ends here so that we can discuss the actual issue - Webber's actions. Unless I'm missing something, the justification for banning is very simple. He's already had his limit of warnings and yet he's committed another offence so if we're going by the book, he should be banned without question. However, seeing as he had shown some improvement from past bans, I'd rather give the benefit of the doubt and give him one more chance to reform so long as he's willing to accept his mistakes and make an effort to further better himself (and that is the major condition here). Personally, I'd give an offender a million chances if he improves himself slightly after each one. It may be against the ban policies, but I believe that these things should only be used as a framework that is adapted to suit each individual case. TheFifteenthMember 22:04, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
- @ShardofTruth: One thing: That template was for the first comment. Then after receiving, that's when Webber22 posted the second one, where he went all: "I did just state it. All of the above. And where the hell do you get off on tattling? "Personally attacking you?" Good lord above. If I were to want to ask you a question and poke you on the arm to get your attention, would you press charges for aggravated assault too? When someone says "Take a chill pill", you should know, there's an actual chill pill. It's called Diazepam. But.......don't actually do that. Valium's got some weird side-effects, and has certain quirks for individuals - from psychological to physiological. So instead....just eat a pudding or something. Now, with that, reflect. Do some self-actualization. Hopefully, you'll find the root of it all. ....Honestly. Attacking you? What the hell's wrong with you? Pretty soon, I'm going to be accused for violating your fifth amendment by requesting a response." So technically, that two strikes.
- @TheFifteenthMember: Thank you, TheFifteenthMember. However, during my second Chat session with TheSilentHero, we agreed that our polices are really out-of-date, and they should be reviewed and revised by the community. When blocking/banning someone, it should be handled by a case-by-case basis. That's whole other issue, though, one that should be created in a forum.--NinjaSheik 22:11, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
Well this sure turned into a mountain really fast. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 23:11, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
- So, what does everyone here want to about Webber22? He obviously needs to be reprimanded, and given previous record (blocked/banned 5 times now), I don't think a simple warning template on his talk page (which, again, was for the first comment. If we wanna get technical, then Webber22's post about "tattling" count as a second attack) is gonna do the trick. So far, I've done everything by the book: I approached the user to inquire the situation, and alerted two staff members after the insults came flying in to discuss the matter. I asked a fellow admin to act a mediator, all the while trying/asking repeatedly about problem Webber22's problem is, only to be met with hostility time and time again.--NinjaSheik 20:03, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
We would like to hear your final thoughts on the Webber case. TheSilentHero 17:11, 17 May 2016 (UTC)

Attack animations
How feasible would it be to get animations of raid boss attacks (two for each boss) and, at the very least, the LV 6 animations for various medals? Asking because Queen Bee is going to be an issue to record."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:06, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
- Getting the attack animations from any enemy is no problem at all, they weren't changed in Unchained. It's a bit more difficult for the special attack animations as some of them were either slightly changed in Unchained (to better fit the smaller screen) or are currently completely missing (e.g. Blossom Death Scythe). If these animations work the same way as in web [chi] (and can be extracted in the future) the result would look similar to the Holy animation that is already uploaded here. I still don't know how to easily change the player clothing though.
- Maybe it would look better to simply record these animations in-game and make gifs out of them later. --ShardofTruth 13:01, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Sure, let me know how and I'll do what I can with the current Queen Bee stuff."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:46, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- I've uploaded an example how the Raid Boss animations could look here.
- Sure, let me know how and I'll do what I can with the current Queen Bee stuff."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:46, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
I don't know how you can record stuff since I don't know which equipment you have but there is probably an app somewhere that does the trick, you can probably also use youtube videos. The next step is to either extract the frames from those videos and convert them into a gif (I'm doing this with Gimp) or use a program that can do this in one step. --ShardofTruth 15:55, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- That animation looks really good. Can you get the others?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 16:12, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
Got another request...
Now, I'll be upfront with you about this one. ...It's not Kingdom Hearts related lol. Not even close. I'm undertaking a bit of a side-project with a friend, doing some DmC modding. I'm having a difficult time getting my hands on the UI assets of all previous Devil May Cry games (1-4). Sooo....I was kind of hopeful if you could help out with it. Now, unfortunately, it IS a bit of an undertaking as there's four games to rife through, so if you can't, or honestly just don't want to, it's perfectly alright lol. But at least unlike with 1.5, there's plenty of platforms to pick through. Again, it's not necessary - just helpful, and it can certainly wait! --Webber22 (talk) 03:49, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
- I believe most of them have already been pulled -- we had a guy on dmc wiki who had used XNALara to get the weapons, at least. Try looking into the source of those images, you might be able to track the ripper down."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:25, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
KH Unchained convo
I know you aren't seriously playing the NA version due to your account being banned, but the wiki-based members of the KHWV team have also set up a side thread to discuss content and just in general have a more dynamic way to request notes for the khunchained x wiki. It's through Facebook Messenger -- is there any chance you'd be open to joining that conversation? Or would you prefer to keep discussion to the wiki?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:27, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
- This is awkward but I quit Facebook some years ago, too much drama. I still have a spam account for stuff like Unchained but that's about it, I'm not sure if you are comfortable with this. The wiki can be pretty slow and all over the place, so I would have nothing against putting the discussion someplace else (maybe a private subreddit?) --ShardofTruth 19:33, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
- We'd be comfortable with whatever account you want to use -- the goal is to use the Facebook Messenger app, which unlike IRC or reddit can be done without leaving the Unchained app, meaning its more easily monitored, and is also persistent as opposed to an IRC channel where the stuff could vanish into the ether if someone loses connection. By all means, use a burner facebook account."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:04, 1 June 2016 (UTC)
Staff Gmail account
Just a heads up that I've sent out an e-mail using the staff gmail account, please review it at your leisure."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:43, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
- There is a staff email account? I think I need more details, I'm on the IRC for a while are you can message me on reddit. I still don't know where to find you guys on facebook. --ShardofTruth 19:16, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
White Rabbit in Unchained
I think that in some cutscenes in Unchained χ (the unique ones, with diaogues only) White Rabbit is in outfit he had for the most of KH series, not the one introduced in χ. I'm not sure if this old outfit appears in χ itself. Would it be possible to upload that image of White Rabbit?--LeafShinobi (talk) 16:38, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
- Sure thing. --ShardofTruth 20:07, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. So, did you find this outfit in χ or Unchained?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:12, 17 June 2016 (UTC)

Command Styles & D-Links
Hello! Saw that you're the game extraction guy here! I was wondering if we can update the image textures....whatever, on the Command Styles and D-Links from BBS HD, since they're still using the PSP images on the pages. --Ignis (talk) 20:54, 1 July 2016 (UTC)
- The D-Link images should have been updated with their HD pendants a while ago. It's not that easy with the Command Styles (or Reality Shifts in DDD's case) since they are basically textured animations, when ripping those files they look something like this. It's simply too much work to make them look like in the game again, it's easier to crop them from screenshots . --ShardofTruth 08:27, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
- It's no problem. :D At least for me lol! If you can upload a zip file of them all, I can have them all done within a day or two! Though, if it's not too much to ask....I'd prefer transparent backgrounds lol. It's only a slight annoyance if they all have black backgrounds. And also while we're talking about this, are you able to extract these things from the PS4 version of Final Fantasy Type-0? I don't want anything from there, but...well, when 2.8 is out, it's nice to know a precedent. And finally....I can't update images! At least on this wiki. --Ignis (talk) 13:19, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
- Also, the D-Link images are also from the PSP release. The sprite portraits on the other hand are from the HD updates. --Ignis (talk) 16:10, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
Here, this'll give a rough idea. Now it looks like crap because it was quick and dirty and, well....I can't tell the true opacity of the gray textures since it's blended in with the black background, but if you can provided transparencies, even if it's broken into a hundred pieces, I can put them back together with at least 90% accuracy. --Ignis (talk) 17:47, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
- Still great work. I checked all files I still have and while the transparency should be okay now there are other problems: Not all files are in HD and some files depict a different language for no apparent reason (these files are all from the Japanese HD version by the way). So all in all only like 30% of these files are usable. I'm currently looking into the source files again to see why everything is such a mess but since there are about 26,000 files, all unnamed just hashed, this will take a while. --ShardofTruth 10:46, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
BOOM! Just so you know lol....I can't seem to update the images - not allowed to. Do you want me to just upload it as a new file then, and you guys keep the PSP versions just for...stuff? --Ignis (talk) 14:06, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- Great work, since we're abandoning the HD concept it would be better if these images would be uploaded as new versions. It's strange that you can't do that even though it's apparently no problem to upload new images altogether. What if you try to upload the new file with the same file name as the old file, that could work since it will be automatically uploaded as new version. --ShardofTruth 16:59, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- I think the reason you can't upload newer versions is because you're not an auto-confirmed user yet. As far as I know, you'll automatically become an auto-confirmed user a few days after creating your account, so you might need to wait one or two days more. In the meantime, I'll upload the images as newer versions and delete the separate ones. TheSilentHero 17:10, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- Okay then. I'll just continue uploading them and you continue moving them - that's the only way since I can't update for now. In any case, I can get a good chunk of them done today. As for the rest....I dunno, I guess you'll have to figure that out lol. Any luck? --Ignis (talk) 20:05, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
Here they are. That's all I could salvage out the zip you sent me. Any luck getting the rest? --Ignis (talk) 22:34, 3 July 2016 (UTC)
- Hm, anyone alive up in here? --Ignis (talk) 21:56, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
Command Styles are just about done. I'll wrap up Air Rider and Rhythm Mixer tomorrow. ...Those last two are also the hardest. T_T --Ignis (talk) 06:08, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
They're all done. :) All Command Styles and D-Links. All that's left are the Japanese versions - don't know if KrytenKoro wants those updated. Anything else on here needs HD replacing? --Ignis (talk) 03:41, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

Rip request
this image seems to show more than just X[chi] Keyblades at the Graveyard -- I think I'm seeing Circle of Life and that Monstro one from KH3D. Are you able to rip these?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:56, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- Just KHX Keyblades (not even Sleeping Lion) I'm afraid: http://imgur.com/a/pYnhy --ShardofTruth 15:23, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
Master Xehanort's Keyblade (KH3D)
Can we get the image for that one?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:58, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- It's 1:1 the same Keyblade as in BBS while in BBSHD it got the new look that is used for KH3 and KHX (which I can't rip, sorry). --ShardofTruth
- But it will be in 2.8. Think you can do a little experiment? Try and extract whatever you can from Final Fantasy Type-0 HD - PS4 version. If it's no dice, try FFX PS4 version. This should give an idea what to expect with 2.8, even if a rough picture. --Ignis (talk) 15:58, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- We'll see, for all these games the remasters were made differently. The problem also isn't extracting the Keyblade, because I could probably pin it down, it's displaying the model. It's different enough from BBS that no viewer/plugin works anymore and I'm really, really bad at reverse engineering such formats.
- Anyway, I fixed the problem with the textures and these should be all Dimension Links/Command Styles. If you could update the other images that would be super cool. --ShardofTruth 22:56, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
- Awesome. :D I can update images now so I'll be getting these done tonight. --Ignis (talk) 00:41, 9 July 2016 (UTC)
- Oh my! Discovery, discovery! Looks like there's a removed Command Style in there called "Airstrike." The major graphic pieces are missing, but enough is in there to add it to the removed content page. --Ignis (talk) 00:51, 9 July 2016 (UTC)

All I did was put them together. You're the one who extracted all the stuff. :D --Ignis (talk) 00:51, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
CERO rating
Can you confirm this edit?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 12:43, 26 July 2016 (UTC)
- I didn't find a source for any rating of browser [chi] on any official website of the game. Maybe it's in the CERO database. --ShardofTruth 21:52, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
Command Menus
Hey! As I was going through your mediafire folder, I noticed a few things were missing: Mainly, the "special" command menus from KH2 aren't in there. These are the menus that show up during special events, like Riku's glider, or when you play as Mickey, or when Zexion zaps your menu with his book. Also, do you have all the gummi ship stuff ripped? --Ignis (talk) 00:13, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
- That's because these special commands are tied to the actual objects and not to the worlds. I put almost all menu/hud textures I still have here, everything you seek should be in there and what's left can probably not extracted at the moment. It's totally unfiltered so you have to sift through all the stuff yourself, probably by sorting by file size/dimensions, those special effects get repeated fairly often. The special commands you seek are in the "object" folder. --ShardofTruth 21:52, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
KH2.5 rips
Seeing as this is out, is it possible to rip the BBS HD models now? I just want the HD BBS Keyblades - Chris Shade
- Yes you can rip all stuff from BBS, but there are two problems:
- 1. The file names are hashed so you have a couple of thousands unnamed files to look for those models.
- 2. Even if you find the models you want, they can't be converted/displayed because both KHIIHD and BBSHD use a different file format than their non-HD versions. It's probably just a bit shuffled around but I don't really understand anything about this matter really and the interest is generally low with folks who could help.
- I'm sorry but I can't help you with the Keyblades. --ShardofTruth 21:52, 27 July 2016 (UTC)
- Do you know anyone who CAN rip them? - Chris Shade
- Again, maybe we have different definition on what ripping is, but getting these models is not the actual problem. I think I got all Keyblades in here based on their textures. Now getting these models displayed is a different story.
- Here is the topic where the original PMO model format of BBS was discussed and cracked by Falo (if I remember correctly). Other persons to talk to would be mysis who really made some progress on these models but is not active there anymore I think, MayBeePah who cracked the DDD files and GovanifY who has a lot of experience with Kingdom Hearts files in general. There is also DemonBoy from VG Resource, who cracked the weapon model format of KH1. All those people are probably busy with other stuff and convincing them to put energy in the BBSHD files won't be easy, so good luck with that. That's really everything I have to say on this topic. --ShardofTruth 16:26, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

HD Fonts
Hi, Shard, I'm Oscar92player, we've talk a while ago in another forum. Would it be possible to extract the fonts from KH2 HD, from the Menus and character messages? Or at last from CoM HD, I think both fonts are similar between games, it would be great to have them. Thanks in advance! - Oscar92player
- I think I saw the fonts somewhere, I'll try to uncover it. --ShardofTruth 07:48, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, Shard! I'll be waiting! - Oscar92player
- Okay, I found the HD version fonts of KHII, BBS and ReCoM but I still can't find the source for the KH one. crazycatz from kh-vids.net might know where it is, he is the expert on all stuff from the first game. Anyway, I put them together with the fonts of KHX and the some non-HD stuff in here, so it's basically everything I have on this topic. --ShardofTruth 15:01, 28 July 2016 (UTC)
- Wow! Thank you a lot, Shard! Don't worry about the KH1 fonts, I'll try to contact with crazycatz and see if he can help with the game. By the other way, I'm sure Ignis can use this fonts to recreate the HUD stuff for the wiki pages. Thank you very much again! - Oscar92player

Re: CoM HD - HUD Textures
Hi, Shard. It's me again, Oscar92player. I wonder if it's possible to extract the HUD elements from Re: CoM from the HD 1.5 ReMIX, like cards, battle UI, Journal, maps and menu textures. I don't know if it's possible too, but... can be extracted the multi-language textures too? It's the first time this game is released officially in other languages than English or Japanese. Thanks in advance! - Oscar92player.
- I still only have the Japanese version of the HD 1.5 ReMIX, which has some multi-language textures but they are not all in higher resolution yet, same with HD 2.5 by the way. Since I'm not a home I have to check again but the yield of ReCoM textures was really poor, there are some things to be found but not all and I'm not sure why's that. ReCoM uses a very different file system compared to both KH and KHII, maybe it's that but for example I never could find the used card textures, only a bunch of unused stuff. I'll upload everything I have once I'm back home. --ShardofTruth 06:51, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you very much, Shard. I'll be waiting. But now that you mentioned, I played the game yesterday and it's true that a few HUD textures from the 1.5 ReMIX are in a poor resolution, like "stretched" but not "remastered". - Oscar92player.
- Isn't it like half-half? I mean, I know the stuff like the health bar and the cards are in HD resolution, but other things like the room display images are...well, bloody ugly lol. Well, since I'm compiling the KH2 command menus, I wouldn't mind getting around to those eventually! And besides, we don't actually have any HD portraits of KH1 Sora and Riku. Ripping the HD version of Recom is worth it just for them alone. --Ignis (talk) 13:24, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, some textures are fully remastered, like you said, Ignis, but I still don't know why Square Enix have not re-created the rest, some menus looks odd (in the first KH, the Journal and the Gummi Ship dialogue boxes are blurred or stretched). - Oscar92player.
- Okay, I checked the stuff I extracted some time ago and there is really almost nothing of value in there. Most HUD elements, almost all card images and basically all menus and other gameplay elements are missing. There is lots and lots of unused stuff but it's not really that interesting. As I said before ReCoM works differently than the other games although I don't know many details. It seems that at least the file system is vastly different and makes finding all the good stuff very complicated. I put basically everything in here but I noticed too late that I forgot to switch the red and blue color channels during the batch process so you'd have to do that yourself. --ShardofTruth 16:12, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Well, that's a little annoying actually lol. I've always thought of myself savvy enough in photoshop to play around with stuff competently, but I'm having some real difficulties in swapping the channels with some of those. Technically speaking, to swap channels, you just need to swap values (like, set red to 0 and blue to 100). But even, no matter how much I tweak the sliders, it doesn't come close to the originals... You know any tricks that can do it? --Ignis (talk) 18:47, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- It should be really that simple. Put the red in the red channel to 0 and the blue to 100 while the blue in the blue channel to 0 and the red to 100 instead. IrfanView has a quick color swapping options, I always use it for game texture. If this absolutely isn't working I'll extract the stuff again. --ShardofTruth 18:56, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- It wasn't that simple rofl, but I actually got it to work after some more tweaking about. To make things easier for everyone, I went ahead and uploaded the custom channel right here. --Ignis (talk) 18:58, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- You extracted these from the HD version, correct? I found bits and pieces of UI elements, but they...definitely don't match the quality displayed when you actually boot up the game. Can you extract stuff from the first KH HD? --Ignis (talk) 19:13, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, I used the HD version of ReCoM, extracting from the normal version isn't possible since it's encrypted somehow. Maybe even the HD version is encrypted (again) so that's why so much stuff is missing, I don't know. I have to check KH again but it doesn't look too good either. --ShardofTruth 19:31, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you Shard, I think this game is too difficult to decrypt. Unfortunately, as you said, there are missing textures, but there are a lots of dummy content. By the way, the channel you have given is working perfectly Ignis, thanks. - Oscar92player
- Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
- 2.8 is just a big question mark at this point, I'm not even sure how far general file decryption of PS4 data is. I also didn't have any time to look into Type-0 yet, not even playing the game since its release. --ShardofTruth 19:54, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Don't worry, it's a great job, Shard. About the 2.8, at this moment I think it's impossible to make an ISO or rom copy from a PS4 game, even if it's released digitally. -Oscar92player.
- It's possible. Been already done before, despite the huge file sizes. Question is encryption. Just how cooperative will 2.8 end up. --Ignis (talk) 20:25, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Wow, then it's possible to make that? The problem will be the size of the rom and the Unreal Engine 5 encryption. It's the most powerful tool to make games, but to encrypt them too. - Oscar92player.

Okay! I've got another experiment, though I don't know if it's possible since it requires a PS3 with CFW. Buuut...can you take screenshots lol? If so, what's the best resolution? --Ignis (talk) 04:28, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
- I don't have a PS3 with custom software, but I can assure you that KH and KHRe:CoM runs at 1920x1080, or 1360x720 in a minor quality monitor. I don't know the size of the textures, maybe they have a minor size and that's the reason that many looks like stretched. But as I said, I really don't know. - Oscar92player.

Could you upload KHX version of this Keychain?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:21, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
- Unlike every other Keyblade in the game this one is just a small image, so the quality is pretty bad. --ShardofTruth 09:04, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, OK. Thanks anyway.--LeafShinobi (talk) 22:56, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
KH 358/2 Days & Re:Coded HD Movies UI Textures
Hello again, Shard. I was wondering if you had any luck ripping the UI elements from 358/2 Days and Re:Coded movies. I already know that there is not much to rip from them, because they are only movies, but the fonts from the subtitles, and UI elements from the extra menus looks interesting. - Oscar92player.
- From the looks of it, they just reused the assets from KH2. --Ignis (talk) 12:25, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think so... The fonts looks very different from KH and KH2, and the UI from the extra assets (Roxas's Diary/Secret Reports from Days and Character Files from Days and Re:Coded) looks new to me. - Oscar92player.
- I didn't have any luck with the movies at all, all I could get were some encrypted mp4 movie files but that's about it. --ShardofTruth 21:30, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- I guess that movies are from the Opening, Ending, Credits and some cutscenes originally from 358/2 Days from DS, but remastered in HD. About the graphics, it's a pity... I hope 2.8 won't come with that encryption or it will be impossible to extract files from there... If you are lucky with the graphics from the movies in the future, could you please contact me? I have Skype, my name is Oscar92player. Thank you for all your effort, Shard. - Oscar92player.

Captain Avaricious in Unchained, Mega-Shadow χ image
Unless I'm mistaken Captain Avarice is a Raid Boss in Unchained, right? By the way, are you sure the image of Mega-Shadow from KHχ you uploaded is the right one. In announcements for the Shadow event Mega-Shadow's sprite looks (almost?) like the Shadow one, but bigger. The image you uploaded seems about size of Gigas Shadow, but in different pose.--LeafShinobi (talk) 15:31, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, unlike in browser [chi] Captain Avaricious is a full-fledged Raid Boss in Unchained, probably a very distant relative of the Trickmaster as they share some attack animations. The Mega-Shadow looks exactly like a Shadow in both versions of KHX, the only difference is the size so I gave him a different pose. --ShardofTruth 21:30, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
- So I'll add CA to Raid Boss page. He hasn't any variations listed on his page, so I won't group him with the Trickmaster. On the Mega-Shadow image, are you sure you changed the pose o the right one? Because this one is the size of Gigas Shadow. Or is it just in another scale?--LeafShinobi (talk) 22:18, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
Unchained
Just saw that you uploaded a mess of new stuff from Unchained (including the new Aqua render!). Any chance the rest of it will go up soon, like the medal templates and other UI stuffs? --Ignis (talk) 04:19, 22 August 2016 (UTC)
- I've uploaded all templates I could find, they are not really templates though, just the images that appear during a draw. Like the cards, the medals are already completed images in this game. I've found some UI stuff but the interesting bits can't be extracted correctly at the moment. The file encryption system of Unchained is a nightmare, it will still take some time to crack it. --ShardofTruth 11:34, 22 August 2016 (UTC)

Medals
Hello, Shard. I was wondering if we have any plans to upload the medal images from KHInsider. I can't help but notice the Medals article has a "List of Medals" section; I'd like to start uploading the images and fill it out if we do actually plan to use them. However, if the images are solely to be used on the KHUX Wiki, I will refrain from doing so. Thank you for taking the time to read this message; I hope to hear back from you soon! - Eternal Nothingness XIII 14:54, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
- Shortly after we got permission to use the Insider images, reddit actually discovered the process for ripping even higher-quality images straight from the game. We're wanting to use those -- I think the only issue at this point is whether we need to credit the people from reddit, given that they publicized the process and so we can duplicate their work ourselves."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 15:34, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
- This archive is not completely up-to-date anymore because of the Jafar and Jafar Genie medals added just recently to the JP version but it contains almost (two were corrupted) medals of the NA game. There are two people responsible for making ripping Unchained stuff possible, MayBeePah who wrote the encryption tool and thethiny who wrote the image conversion tool. I think it's generally not expected to source every person who made ripping possible, only source the rips themselves, like the models MayBeePah extracted from KH3D or the medal images Sign cropped from Unchained. No harm done either way I guess. --ShardofTruth 16:02, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
- In that case, I think we should credit both of them, and then khinsider for the non-rippable medals.
- Do these tools work for the NA version at all?
- Also, I've noticed that at least for the Sephiroth medals, the rips do not match."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:29, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
- Considering my question was to hold off or upload the images, I'll hold off for now :P - Eternal Nothingness XIII 22:03, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, completely missed this part. I guess these images will be uploaded eventually, so if you want to, you can go ahead. I'm not sure how to present them here, probably in table form like the cards, maybe just with the data provided by the medal album. Since the numbers change between version, using the same naming scheme as the Unchained wiki is probably the best idea.
- @Kryten: You probably mean the longer sword of the 6* version, maybe the changed it recently, I have to check older versions. --ShardofTruth 08:11, 27 August 2016 (UTC)
- I was thinking we would just put them in galleries -- covering them as gameplay elements seems like it would be best handled by a "see KHUX wiki for more info" situation on our page."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 06:27, 28 August 2016 (UTC)

World logo transitions
Pretty much everything in KH2 was inside that huge package you uploaded, so the stuff in there will keep us all busy for a good while! However I noticed the logo transitions aren't anywhere in there (you know, those fancy animations that play when you enter a world for the first time). Any chance you can upload the textures for those? --Ignis (talk) 20:39, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
- I think they are part of the maps but I have to check. --ShardofTruth 08:50, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
- Maps? Like, the minimaps? Cause...I was thinking we should probably add those in there sometime later as well! --Ignis (talk) 23:17, 6 September 2016 (UTC)
- The minimaps are also parts of the maps, yes. The maps are bascially the rooms you can visit in the games, they contain all object and and interaction data. The logos are part are only cutscene material it seems, maybe I can get them tomorrow. --ShardofTruth 05:39, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- If you get a chance, it might be good to upload the minimaps later as well, to be added to world galleries. I'll probably do the same for the NDS games once I'm done with the command menus. --Ignis (talk) 13:07, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, this took a while, but here are the parts of the world logo animations and here the minimaps along with the room names so you can identify them. I'm not sure if they are really useful here though, most of BBS's maps are already uploaded here for example but not used in any way.
- Great work on the command menus and the gauges by the way, you've really outdone yourself.--ShardofTruth 21:12, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
- Awesome, thanks! :D With the commands done, what's next? I know I'll want to organize the minimaps, but anything else? --Ignis (talk) 21:38, 12 September 2016 (UTC)
- I can't think of anything at the moment, at least not without more texture rips, so you'll have to create your own projects :D --ShardofTruth 06:12, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- Lol... @_@ Uhm. Let's see. Still not possible to rip from 1.5, right? Then....how about the original mobile version of coded? XD Yeah, hell no I imagine lol. Well, I suppose for the time being, the minimaps are about the only thing - and they're fairly low on the list of priorities...but since there's nothing else, minimaps it is! Okay! Lol, how about you help me with a pet project then? :) Can you extract everything from Final Fantasy X HD - I mean everything, like you did with KH2HD? --Ignis (talk) 06:54, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- This will take more time, I never extracted anything from FFX, just dumped some textures. --ShardofTruth 17:53, 16 September 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. :) I'll get started on the minimaps tonight. I have a pretty good idea how to go about it and I'll probably want someone's thoughts on it. For testing purposes, the smallest world in KH2 is....erm, Disney Castle, probably? --Ignis (talk) 02:34, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

- Okay, phase 1 of my stupid idea lol. Clicky! This isn't for the wiki or anything. It's just for fun. Unless you guys want to use it! :P --Ignis (talk) 20:15, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
- I'm going to upload the rest of the non-model BBSHD textures once the conversation process finishes, so everything should be in there. The world image looks really good, makes me wish we had access to more high definition versions of KH and KHII ones. --ShardofTruth 15:36, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

- You should work on a fangame, these world image look really good. In my opinion the font of the realm of darkness would look a bit more more gothic, like it's the case for the end of the world. --ShardofTruth 07:05, 22 September 2016 (UTC)
- You're right lol - I need to do a wee bit more font exploring. As for the fangame bit....I'd rather not. :P Reason #1: Back in the olden days, I used to be a staffer at KHU (Pete's site!) and occasionally skulked in the forums, particularly the "Spriter's Hangout." I was...hrm, not bad lol! And I guess others agreed, because every time I posted something it was poached for some shitty fangame. Reason #2: Notice my little Zephyr issue down below? I said I wouldn't gossip, but I wanna vent! It's kind of related lol. Just for the hell of it, I volunteered to make the UI for the HD Days remake project. They didn't want it, saying they already had it, so ok. This was it btw (I shared this only with Zephyr, but fuck his punk ass). Whatever they want. Around the same time, I ask Zephyr for a favor - the transparencies of that KH3 UI, for the hell of it. He ignores me for a week, then outright bullshits me saying he doesn't share stuff for free if it's gonna be used in a project. Firstly....he didn't design it, he copied it. Secondly...he gave it to those HD Days guys free of charge lol. You can tell because the rest of the UI looks like utter shit compared to the command menu. So I said fuck em both, and....I made my own lol. You want the PSD with everything in it lol? --Ignis (talk) 15:39, 22 September 2016 (UTC)
- As promised. --ShardofTruth 20:44, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

Sora/Riku/Ventus
To me, that quote is saying that's why Sora was able to wield Riku's Keyblade, but not specifically saying that's why he was able to wield any Keyblade. Are we sure that Ventus isn't involved? Esp. with Nomura also saying Ventus is why Sora can wield two."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 00:20, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Ventus is why Sora is able to wield two...yet Xion is the reason why Roxas wields two. By that logic, Sora should wield three...yet... Honestly, Clint said it best. --Ignis (talk) 02:40, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Both Xion and Ventus are why Roxas can wield two. Sora can wield two because he has Ventus's heart in addition to his own. Roxas, being Sora's Nobody, can also wield two. Xion's creation siphoned away Roxas's access to his other Keyblade, Ven's. When Xion died, Roxas gained access to a second Keyblade, Ven's, not Xion's. - Makes about as much sense as anything else in Kingdom Hearts. --Ignis (talk) 02:53, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- This whole section probably needs a lot more quotes but at least to me the scenario falls into the "Sora is just a normal kid"-theme Nomura mentions different times. I don't think the games ever made the distinction between being able to wield a Keyblade and being able to wield Keyblades in general. There is the inherence cermony and the concept of owning a personal Keyblade but that's about it. --ShardofTruth 05:39, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- My interpretation of Sora being a normal kid is that he did not "earn" the right to be a wielder through the inheritance ceremony, or being chosen -- Ventus lent it to him, and eventually Sora proved himself with the borrowed ability. If Ventus is the source of Sora being able to wield one of his Keyblades, due to something that happened ten years ago, it makes more sense that that's what allowed him to take and keep Riku's Keyblade ("moving down the list", implying Sora was already on a list), rather than Sora first acquiring the ability with Riku, then Ventus's contribution activates later because reasons. And yeah, I know, it's Nomura, "because reasons" pops up all the time, but the timeline makes it seem to me more like:

- Sora accepts Ventus's heart
- Sora is not a wielder, but can physically hold a Keyblade because he has a wielder's heart inside him
- Riku's Keyblade comes to him
- Riku's Keyblade is confused at Riku's wavering heart, sees a strong Keyblade wielder heart grabbing for it, and says "ok for now" (this part at least we agree is confirmed by Nomura)
- While borrowing Riku's Keyblade, Sora forms a strong enough connection with the "platonic ideal of Keyblades" or whatever that he truly becomes a wielder
- Riku's Keyblade officially shifts from being linked to Riku's heart to being linked to Sora's heart (very confusing and inconsistent with the shenanigans with Aqua's Keyblade, very very clearly a retcon, but whatever)

- You forgot about the time travel nonsense (Xehanort's Heartless showing up at Destiny Islands' door being planned ahead - IN THE PAST! FROM THE FUTURE!), and Nobodies actually having hearts, and Donald not recognizing Yen Sid's tower, and...hell, everything about Xion, and Minnie banishing Pete. We all like the games, but there's no need to be an in-denial fanboy about it: The series is a retcon'd trainwreck. --Ignis (talk) 15:45, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Firstly, would you please stop insulting me? You've done it a few times now and I don't appreciate it. Secondly, I'm not perfect. In fact I'm extremely forgetful. Xehanort's Heartless is pretty much definitely true. Nobodies having hearts was hinted with Roxas and Naminé. Donald was probably referring to where the tower was, as in near Twilight Town. If he didn't recognize the tower itself, from what we know, the last time he was there was about 10 years ago, so we should give him the benefit of the doubt. Xion is debatable. Minnie with Pete, I'll half give you since again, 10 years is a long time, people misremember things you know. Finally, "Retcon" is short for Retroactive Continuity, which means that anything not hinted at being the case is changed from what it was in the first place. If someone died in one game but is shown to be alive in another one with the event where that character died being referenced without any other explanation as to why the character is alive now, then that is a retcon. Rex Ronald Rilander (talk) 16:05, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

- Kryten, of course your explanation makes sense and I don't think it's unreasonable to assume that Ventus had something to do with Sora being able to get a hold of the Keyblade with all we know. The problem with this explanation is that it's never reinforced this way in the other games nor the interviews, in contrary it goes against one of the themes of the first game because the connection to Ventus would mean that he actually had some right to the Keyblade and he didn't just get it by his own strength (of heart). As I see it Nomura provided the only "official" explanation of this scene to date and therefore we have to go with it. --ShardofTruth 16:30, 7 September 2016 (UTC)
- Shard: got it. That being said, all that's doing is having Riku performing an unintended Bequeathing, not showing that Sora got it without inheriting it, so Nomura's kind of full of it if he's trying to say that Sora was never "chosen" in the way Riku and Kairi were -- at the very least, he did the same thing Kairi did.
- Ignis: Seconded, please cool it on the aggressiveness.
- Rex: The retcon about the Keyblade is that KH1 very strongly implied, if not explicitly stating, that there were two Keyblades, and that Riku had been chosen a la Excalibur, rather than it being simply a familiar or Bankai-type situation that somehow, despite what we're later also shown with Aqua, Terra, or Luxu's own confusing situations, went to Sora instead. Especially when Mickey should have known what being a Keyblade wielder is, and thus, that simply because Sora doesn't currently have his key doesn't at all justify Donald and Goofy just abandoning him, because Sora would simply summon a new one (as we even see Riku do, later!) Keyblades being linked to specific hearts and created by that person, as done with Way to the Dawn in KH2, is severely undercut if they can be forcibly or accidentally taken by a being without that heart, as Sora and Riku did to Roxas, Lingering Will to Terra-Xehanort, or Aqua to Eraqus. In particular, it's very confusing how Riku was able to grow a new Keyblade if the Keyblade, which supposedly represents a link to his heart, was claimed by Sora. Like, did the molecules of the Kingdom Key gradually transition from being composed of Riku's Keyblade to being Sora's? Was Riku pulling his Way to the Dawn from Sora's Kingdom Key as Sora grew his own in the same way we see with Xion and Roxas? How does any of this actually work beyond blanket Rule of Cool? I can see how Nomura could reframe what was said and done in KH1 to justify the new direction on Keyblades, but that's still recognizably a retcon even if he says "well from a certain point of view". See retcon -- you very much don't have to have a reboot to have a retcon."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:56, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

Minimaps
That last thread was getting huge so I'm just gonna start a fresh one here lol. Here's a simple little experiment with the [City]. How's that?
- Looks great to me, I like how you incoperated the rooms names too. :D
- As for the missing maps, the DC one can be found here, Agrabah 04 (the fight against Jafar) and Agrabah 05 (the room where Jafar's lamp was stored) don't have maps and Agrabah 08 doesn't even exist. The Garden of Assemblage & Co tiles weren't translated yet (I'm taking this stuff all from the JP version), that's why they are missing. --ShardofTruth 07:49, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. Any chance you can extract stuff from the NA version down the line? I'm actually a little curious to see the world name for The Gathering Place! --Ignis (talk) 15:05, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
- Okay lol - it's more than just for my curiosity. You see? One of these things is not like the others. XD --Ignis (talk) 15:36, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, it really stands out. Ripping from the International version requires a bit more preparation, I'll try to get it done on the weekend. Is there other English stuff missing at the moment besides the room names? --ShardofTruth 14:48, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
- Not that I noticed. Basically, all locations new to Final Mix are missing the English room names. So, I'm definitely gonna need the NA versions when compiling, say, Cavern of Remembrance. Also, technically speaking, the HD command menu images you provided are very slightly different: In the Japanese version, it says "Command" while in the NA version it's "Commands." It's a very minor difference though, so I think we can let it slide. --Ignis (talk) 15:49, 19 September 2016 (UTC)

Zephyr
Hey, quick question. Do you talk every now and again with Zephyr from KHInsider? --Ignis (talk) 04:36, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
- No, not really, at least not outside of KHI threads. Why? --ShardofTruth 07:49, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
Stuffs
Heyo! As I type this, I'm working on those minimaps...again. Finally. Procrastination is a lot of work! There is a system to it. But anyways, I was wondering if you've retrieved any of the world area names from the NA versions? They're definitely going to be needed for the Cavern of Remembrance. And I also, I finally put together all this shit lol. Do with it what you will, it's there for fun. :D And lastly, I'm still aching for those FFXHD extracts. XD --Ignis (talk) 17:45, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'm still super busy and not sure when I have finally some free time to get the extraction going. I'm still working on English names of the new areas and haven't even started with FFX yet, but it seems at least texture dumping from the steam version is relatively easy, not sure about extracting stuff from the PS3/PS4 version yet. --ShardofTruth 18:25, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
I'm about to give up on these minimaps. -_-; Their sense of layout is beyond fucked. --Ignis (talk) 02:42, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Maybe you have to devide them per floor, you probably can't them fit on one plane, at least not without many arrows, letters and probably colors in the case of the Cavern of Remembrance, but that's actually a point for the level design of KHII, not against it:D --ShardofTruth 06:23, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Here's what I hate about the level design. Let's say you're in an area, and the "gate" to the next one is north. You pass through the north gate and enter the new area, yet for some reason, it ends up on the west side of it. Now, imagine that...with almost every area! That's Agrabah in a nutshell. It's a scrambled clusterfuck that's an utter pain to organize - and I can't go around flipping the maps because the way they're extracted is exactly the way they're presented in-game. I'm thinking the only way around this is to mark the gates with letters, and then correspond them. Kind of like how I did with the Keyblade Graveyard or Timeless River portals. --Ignis (talk) 06:35, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- I think you should still rotate them in this case, decide for a direction, probably using the biggest map, and go with it. The level design can also be understood much easier this way. --ShardofTruth 11:18, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- I tried that, but some of them go in a spiraly direction - like Twilight's View. No matter which way you rotate it, a gate will keep slamming into the wall of another area, be it the last or next. --Ignis (talk) 16:17, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Can't you connect them with lines, like they do in the guides? That way, you can also have multiple variations of one location, like the Coliseum before and after its destruction. TheSilentHero 16:59, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
- Can I see a scan? I don't have a guide lol. --Ignis (talk)

Weapon Rips
Were there better models of the organization weapons in 2.5 HD? I'd like to know what's written on the cover of the Book of Retribution if possible. :3 Thanks! Chainoffire 03:46, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- I think there were no changes made for any models in KHIIHD, but the words can be made out better from the textures: 1, 2. The description on the Book of Retribution page seems to be correct. I'm not really sure if the change of the title is caused by the International version or if ReCom simply uses another textures. I'll check that later. --ShardofTruth 18:28, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- I just checked ReCoM and I noticed two things: The texture in KHIIHD is a bit better and both the English and Japanese version of ReCoM use the same texture, even the English version of KHIIHD uses the texture linked above so I'm not sure where the alternate title, "Ignes Fatui", is coming from. A cutscene maybe or some obscure Days info, I don't know. --ShardofTruth 19:34, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- Looks like it was a days thing. Should I put a {{source}} tag until we have an image/proper source for it? Chainoffire 07:07, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Yes please, I'll have to ask around if somebody knows where this information stems from. --ShardofTruth 07:34, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Could it be from the manga?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:45, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- faemarch found the answer, you can see the book during the opening of Days and it was changed for the English version: http://imgur.com/MaLqgi7
- It's still strange though that they never bothered to change the texture in the games were you might actually be able to recognize it. --ShardofTruth 17:29, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

Minimaps
Made some maps for KHII and BBS. Might also try some from Days, as I can rip some images from an emulator.
Would these count as fan-created/edited images on the wiki? Ignis' map files haven't been deleted yet, so they might be fine.

- They look great, thank you, you can upload them here any time. The official image rule is not as strictly enforced outside the mainspace, these images are completely fine for the galleries and walkthroughs. It would be immensely helpful if you could get the maps of Days. If I remember correctly they are all stored separately (like in Re:coded), making the extraction process as real hassle, getting the maps with an emulator would be a lot faster. --ShardofTruth 18:28, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- That's awesome, dude. With that, I'll relegate to you taking care of the minimaps, and tomorrow I'll start focusing on updating all the screenshots to their HD counterparts. Should be...fun. --Ignis (talk) 04:23, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
That is so weird lol...The Gathering Place just re-uses Disney Castle's font. In any case, you and the Rebel got this, right? I just realized that there's really no need for swapping out screencaps just yet, so I'll start ripping the maps from 358/2 Days. But...how do you want it done? Just the KH1 worlds? Seems a little redundant to rip the areas already in KH2 since they're all just re-uses anyway. --Ignis (talk) 08:06, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- You're right, it looks really out of place. It's also not helping that the title uses "Disney Castle" under the line, which is only done so by the English version by the way.
- As for the Days maps, I think having maps for all worlds would still preferable as some areas were added/removed from their KHII equivalents and some rooms have new names. --ShardofTruth 08:13, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- That might have to wait, because I ran into YET ANOTHER FUCKING PROBLEM!!! dsmume won't load .sav files, only .dsv. And seeing as I'm on a Mac, I have no bloody way of converting them, and there isn't a single wanker out there who's bothered to upload any. --Ignis (talk) 08:36, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Years ago there was some kind of online converter for the various No$Gba, Desmume and other formats. Maybe I'll find it again. I still have a completed dsv save for the European and Japanese version of Days, but you are probably using the North American one, right? --ShardofTruth 08:41, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, but don't try to look for it. The only online converter currently up doesn't do dsv. Honestly, my day is just awesome today. First, we getting slammed by a fucking hurricane. Two, fucking eBay gives out the wrong mailing address for TWO of my packages. And of course, now this. --Ignis (talk) 08:47, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Desmune has an option called "View Maps" that can show some layers. I can see the bottom screen maps in their entirety and screencap them. That's how I did the Neverland map.

- Twilight Town's Station Plaza has a second map for the giant Xion fight, and the Coliseum map has multiple variations for the arena round fights. You can try to get those for completion's sake if you're mapping them. And sorry about Hurricane Matthew.Rebellious Treecko (talk) 06:25, 8 October 2016 (UTC)
Is there a way to get the map files from Dream Drop Distance? As in, rip them from an iso? (or whatever the 3ds game format is)Rebellious Treecko (talk)
- Shard already ripped them. Clicky here. Fairly easy to find - it's in the "Maps" folder lol. Though be warned, they're a little bit different than the maps you've been working on. They're essentially overhead/birdseye screenshots of the actual in-game areas. --Ignis (talk) 06:55, 16 October 2016 (UTC)
Your unwitting instigation of DOOM
So a while ago, you told me I should work on a fangame or something lol. 'Cept I can't code worth a damn - let's not even get into modeling. But let's say I'm inspired to do something using my know-how! How would you go about it? Where to start lol? You opened pandora's box, and I feel like doing something now. ;) --Ignis (talk) 04:21, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Asking all the hard questions I see. Hmm, if I wanted to work on a fangame and wouldn't know at least a bit of everything to get started on my own, I'd find a project I like and ask if I can help too. Since you have already some experience with the (failed?!?) Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days HD remake it can get frustrating very fast, so always keep that mind. Personally I think the most promising approach for a KH fangame comes from xentax user MayBeePah who wants to create some kind of Kingdom Hearts engine, that could be used as the groundwork for your own game. It's still not ready though. --ShardofTruth 06:31, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Lol, thanks, but I'm not really looking to make my own fangame just yet. XD That's a long wait for a...erm, I guess a train don't come! I was just hoping to put my stuff to established use. :) But all there is is that crappy Days HD project doomed to fail... --Ignis (talk) 08:07, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
Reality Shifts
I went ahead and snooped around your mediafire folder and found the KH3D textures. So, with those...I went ahead and updated the Reality Shift images! They're still pretty low-quality since the game uses hilarious amounts of compression (just about...every texture looks like shit lol), but I made do. However, the files you uploaded don't have the Japanese version textures in them - so I was hoping you could get around to uploading those? OR! Or you could wait until 2.8, when we'll get significantly higher-quality textures to play with, provided you're confident you can extract them. --Ignis (talk) 04:23, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
- The textures are all I got from MayBeePah's KH3D dump, I still don't know how to unpack the game myself since the people who can do that don't like to talk about it. I'm currently trying to get Citra to do my biddings, but the possibilities are very limited. So in short 2.8 is probably the best chance to get these textures. --ShardofTruth 06:17, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
- S'what I thought. I'd much rather work with higher quality ones anyway. Speaking of which, how's that FFX and Type-0 going lol? --Ignis (talk) 23:09, 11 October 2016 (UTC)
- Any progress? --Ignis (talk) 08:08, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
- I know you don't want to hear it, but I didn't make any progress at all, mostly because my internet connection is still super bad and the games are still too expensive (for the simple purpose of getting the textures). I was hoping there would be a discount during the fall sale but that didn't happen. Isn't there anyone on the ffwiki who already extracted textures from those games? --ShardofTruth 17:40, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Hey, are you gonna be importing 2.8, or you waiting for the NA/EU release? --Ignis (talk) 19:07, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not sure yet. I really like to but I won't have much time next year so there might be no point importing the Japanese version, at least not now. --ShardofTruth 09:09, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
The biggest favor ever...
Hey. I've already asked you plenty of stuff in the past, but those were, if nothing else, a public service lol! This is sort of a personal favor....and you're not gonna like it one bit. :< But before anything else, do you have PS+? --Ignis (talk) 06:09, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
- No, I just have my PS3 for exclusives and not even a PS4 yet, so I don't have any need for PS+. --ShardofTruth 14:01, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
- Well that makes it complicated... Longer short of it, I lost all my shit. ALL. And I'm NOT replaying through Birth by Sleep again. I was just hoping you could help out a bloke. You still could, technically...but it's just a bigger pain. --Ignis (talk) 15:30, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
- These are all my savegames, but only for the EU version, I'm not sure if you can use them. You probably also have to re-assign them to your account to earn trophies with them, at least I think so. I've lost all my saves from the JP version too, I thought I had a backup but apparently I didn't. --ShardofTruth 16:13, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah lol - BBS saves in particular are a bitch to re-assign without OFW - and I have the NA version to boot. Honestly, I was just gonna ask you for your PSN login. :P Create a new user account, login online just once and the PS3 twigs to it permanently. But, again, since you have EU, it's a no go. Nevermind. :P Thanks for the saves anyway. --Ignis (talk) 17:29, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Question
Hey Shard, I was wondering if you would be able or know how to get the model for this guy? I can't seem to find it any where and you seemed like the right person to come to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Twilightnpc (talk • contribs)
- You can find all NPCs in the range of N_EX650 til N_EX740, this particular guy is found in the N_EX700_TT_SPO_RAW_RTN.mldx file. --ShardofTruth 16:31, 15 November 2016 (UTC)
Customized hover template
So on the game portals on the front page, the "portalobject" template is used. Is there a way to make that work on image maps? Chainoffire 06:07, 29 November 2016 (UTC)
- Not out of the box it seems, since the hover text is tied to the game icon objects, even though you could change the background. What you want is an text field for defined points on an image (map), right? I'm really not sure where to start here, templates aren't exactly my area of expertise. --ShardofTruth 10:50, 30 November 2016 (UTC)
KHUX Cutins
Hey, I was wondering if you could update your zip package of medal cutins to be more up-to-date? I had to improvise with Meowjesty yesterday, but it would've been better if there was a proper cutin. Also...obligatory reminder about Type-0 HD and FFX HD assets! Almost! This might be important, but I need you to look into digging through Final Fantasy XV assets. I'm not actually looking for anything in particular or interested in anything (except maybe weapon icons for the FF wiki), but I need to know if you even can get anything out of it. --Ignis (talk) 06:29, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
- I updated the archive, that's all I have at the moment with the files being encrypted differently and all. I'm working at Type-0 but it doesn't look too good actually, I haven't extracted anything substantial yet but I'm still experimenting with some directx wrappers, but this will take some more time. As for FFXV: I don't have the game, I don't have a PS4 and I don't think there was any work done on the game yet, so I can't dig through anything yet. --ShardofTruth 23:23, 15 December 2016 (UTC)
Dumb question
Could you tell me how to link uploaded files to wiki pages? I need to add the Days maps to their world pages.
Rebellious Treecko (talk) 02:12, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, I completely forgot about them, I can update the pages of them later today.
- Essentially, they are added in the galleries and after the room/map descriptions of the setting paragraph with the help of a collapsible gallery, since they are so big, like this:
{|class="wikitable collapsible collapsed" !Area Map |- | [[File:Minimap (World) KHD.png|500px]] |}
- You can check how it's done when you look at the source code (by pressing "edit") of the Neverland world page. --ShardofTruth 08:42, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
KHFM Ultimania
Can you provide screenshots of what the Ultimania says about Zantetsuken and Slapshot?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:32, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
- I don't have the book with me a the moment, you'll have to wait some weeks before I can make the photos. --ShardofTruth 22:29, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Huge Snowman
I just noticed that in Unchained χ, at least in Main Story Quest 525, its Japanese name is ヒュージスノーマン, not ラージスノーマン. I'm not sure if it appeared in any other quests in Unchained, so I'm not sure if the name was changed for this quest, or for for Unchained (or maybe it's a different Heartless).--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:06, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
- Good catch! I checked both games and you're absolutely right, the "Huge Snowman" variant seems to be exclusive to Unchained (the boss in quest 525 and a High Score Challenge) while the "Large Snowman" variant only appears in browser [chi] and not (yet) in Unchained during the Christmas events. The name fits too since the Huge Snowman's height is like two times the Large Snowman's height: [4]. --ShardofTruth 22:29, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Here we are
I know you don't have 2.8 yet, but you know of anyone who might have tried to get a head start in cracking the thing open? --Ignis (talk) 16:20, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- Whoa! I was thinking I was the only wanting to know if anyone was able to rip something from the Japanese version of the game. But I think it's too early to do that; first because the game was released a few days ago; and second because we don't know anything about how Square has encrypted the new files with the Unreal Engine 4 or the HD files in DDD. Also, it would be wisely to wait until the game is released in the entire world, let the people play with it, and then extracting all the juice inside. If I'm not mistaken (and this is only an interpretation of what I saw in the videos), the graphics of BbS 0.2 are huge compared to the HD versions of older games (maybe 1024x1024px graphics instead of 512x512px). --Oscar92player
- About the encryption, I asked Shard to get a sneak peak into some of it a couple of months ago by cracking open Type-0 HD and maybe the FFX HD remasters. But.....ahem. He's been a little procrastinaty on that. --Ignis (talk) 21:23, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
- The thing is that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy X&X-2 HD are not using the Unreal Engine, the use some kind of Unity-like engine (I don't remember the exact name). But in theory, because Square is using the Unreal Engine 4 for KH BbS 0.2 instead of Unreal Engine 5, the data encryption will be the same as other games using the same engine (unless Square used another method to encrypt the data inside). Anyway, if I'm not mistaken, the fonts now the need to be in .ttf or .otf format, because (unless I'm mistaken), Unreal Engine 4 don't have support for bitmaps fonts like in older KH games. This is an opportunity to obtain fonts is his original format instead of bitmap images. --Oscar92player
- 0.2 is a lower priority since there's really just three things the Wiki needs from it. DDD on the other hand has a good chunk of HD assets that need updating. And as for fonts, 2.5 didn't use bitmaps either. So, that could be a tiny source of comfort for 2.8 lol. --Ignis (talk) 04:19, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
- Thinking about it, KH DDD has nice assets for the wiki, and some of them new compared to the 3DS version, but BbS 0.2 has new graphics assets too for the HUD elements, or things like the costumes images in the menus. That would be a nice addition for the wikia too. As for what you said about 2.5... KH2 and Birth by Sleep HD uses bitmap images as fonts. Tell me if I'm wrong, but... does KH 2.5 use another type of fonts, like .ttf or .otf, maybe for the Re:Coded cutscenes and menus? --Oscar92player
- KH2FM and BBS both use tff. Here are the extracted fonts. Try it out for yourself! --Ignis (talk) 23:40, 14 January 2017 (UTC)
- This .ttf fonts are from the Japanese version of KH X[chi]. It's true that the fonts called DFSOGE5 and KH2_ALL_MENU_I are the same used n 2.5 for the Game Selection Menu and the HUD menu for the movies, but in this case both are from X[chi], and the Cinema_Calligraphy_Web is for the Japanese dialogue boxes as well. The only ones that 2.5 uses are the images that you see in there for KH2 and BbS (and there are KH Re:CoM fonts too), those are the bitmap fonts that I'm talking about. In theory, and because 0.2 now uses Unreal Engine 4, the game no longer can uses images as fonts but .ttf or .otf ones. I'm sure that 0.2 uses the .ttf fonts called DFSOGE5 KH2_ALL_MENU_I for the HUD (the ones you have miss the extra latin characters for accents and symbols, so they are incomplete), and we miss the dialogue fonts, they are different in US and European versions from Cinema_Calligraphy_Web (this one is only used in the Japanese version). --Oscar92player

- Know of anyone else who might be able to help? I recall there was like a community effort (outside of here) to unpack the original Dream Drop Distance. --Ignis (talk) 20:19, 24 February 2017 (UTC)
- I'm really not sure. Some of the guys I knew on FFwiki seem to be hibernating too and the KH ripping scene (if we want to call it that way) on Xentax is pretty much dead at this point. You could try to get the guys at Spriter's Resource to help you, they are pretty knowledgeable, especially about textures, maybe DemonBoy can help. --ShardofTruth 20:20, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

I got some information on this. While Dazz's guys were...a little bit more stoic on the matter, the guys I know at S7 were far more helpful. So.... Shard. Do you happen to have a modded PS4 lol? :| --Ignis (talk) 17:16, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- I don't and didn't even knew that's already possible. I have to check things out. --ShardofTruth 17:59, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- I actually have a sort of to-do manual right here, but I wouldn't actually recommend it. By the by, how exactly did YOU extract stuff from the PS3 discs? Like, did you dump the files through our PS3, or did you extract them in your PC directly out of a blu-ray disc? --Ignis (talk) 18:02, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- Since you can decrypt the files without a CFW PS3 now you can get the files directly from the bluray or any other source for that matter. --ShardofTruth 18:15, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- Can you try using the same method on 2.8 then? It's still a blu-ray disc (granted dual layer). And not including 0.2 or Back Cover, Dream Drop Distance was developed using the same environment as KH2 and BBS, so I would think it had the same remaster application as those did. --Ignis (talk) 20:39, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- The thing is that the PS4 doesn't use the same encryption as the PS3 so all these methods aren't usable for 2.8. --ShardofTruth 10:42, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
- Agh, bloody hell. >_< Ideas lol? Or, are we stuck for the time being? --Ignis (talk) 21:26, 12 March 2017 (UTC)
- Super stuck, I haven't seen a single successful attempt to rip anything from a PS4 game yet. --ShardofTruth 19:30, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- Alright. Plan B. I'll need screenshots. LOTS OF THEM. If I can get enough of them, I can cobble together enough that looks the shit. Maybe. ;_; Starting with Spell Weaver. I'll need screenshots with Spell Weaver active in as many situations, and LIGHTING, as possible. Dark backgrounds, and light. For example, the exit that leads to Destiny Islands is just pure white. And let's not forget Spell Weaver actually has three different phases in its animation - the basic, the one where the finisher is active, and one where the finisher is triggered. Also, the PS4 share button won't cut it - the images are far too compressed to get anything useful out of it. I tried to get a higher quality Flowmotion icon this way, and it just looked like plain shit. They need to be as lossless looking as possible. Can you pull that off? Or, do you know anyone who might? Basically, we need screenshots grabbed from a very, very, very good capture device. --Ignis (talk) 20:21, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- I took a KH PS4 screenshot not too long ago and added it to the wiki. Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 19:53, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Sandbox
Do you have time to work on a certain project i have? Byzantinefire - There are no strings on me (talk) 19:02, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
Levin
So, apparently "Levin" is an archaic word for lightning? I wonder why that didn't show up when I first tried to translate this, but a lot of things make more sense now."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:19, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
0.2 Screenshots
Hey, where'd you get the screenshots for the 0.2 Heartless that allowed you to crop out renders? --Ignis (talk) 23:51, 20 April 2017 (UTC)
- Just wanted to pop in and say the renders you extracted look great, Shard! Any plans to get others? Off-hand, I know Phantom Aqua needs one… - Eternal Nothingness XIII 02:29, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
- Likewise, I'd like to get some nice quality screenshots so I can render out the command styles. --Ignis (talk) 05:51, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
- I made the screenshots with my PS4 but the quality is really not what I hoped for. You can't use the upscaled "4k" screenshots because everything just gets more blurry, there is absolutely no difference to what a good graphic program does. You can't use a first person camera to get better angles of the enemies, because there is none and on top of everything there is like a four second delay between pressing the share button and the PS4 taking the actual screenshot, it's just embarrassingly slow. I took like 200 screenshots to get these three passable enemy poses and I'm still not very happy with them.
- So I'm not sure if I can get a good Phantom Aqua image this way, but I can try during her slow walk phase. As for a command styles, I'm not sure I can deliver more quality than you already tried to get Ignis. I'll upload two examples later and you can judge for yourself. --ShardofTruth 17:37, 21 April 2017 (UTC)
