Lead image sizes
As far as these go, could you please stick to the standard 350x400px? Using an unqualified width results in images that are way, way too tall."We're werewolves, not swearwolves."(KrytenKoro) 18:14, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Alright, sorry about that. Also, what links have I removed? I don't believe I did them on purpose. I had to restart my computer, so maybe that was the reason. RikutheBloody 18:18, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Walkthrough
UxieLover1994 Cuando la vida te da las herramientas, a construir motos libración — 16:52, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
Did you know that we have a walkthrough for the wiki? Well, it's mainly been abandoned, and only the one for the first game is "finished" (but not for the Final Mix version). I was helping out with the one for KHII, but the focus on the original game's (plus stress from a summer heatwave) caused me to take a hiatus. I want to finish it, but what should I do first?
I don't think there is any rush, is there? If you're desperate to finish it, then I'lll help out. We should get KHFM, or KHII done next. Maybe KHII should come next, since FM is not a necessary. So I'll help out on KHII, whenever you're ready. — 17:11, 8 January 2015 (UTC)

Anytime you're ready. I've already covered most of the first visits (up until Agrabah), and we're just going to need a special template that says "Final Mix exclusive" (similar to the "canon" templates). Do you need a link for them?

I'M SO SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY! I've been watching anime and I saw your message but I got distracted :L Did I inspire your archive? I really like your archive template though :D The osu link is: click the pink circle in the middle Most people move around with mouse/tablet and alternate between the z and x keys to click :) Try the 1 star maps. You have to download beatmaps! Pick a song you like and search for it here, then you wanna unclick the rank status that says "Ranked and Approved" and click "All" instead. You'll find your maps easier. You search your song, and I would pick the map with the highest number of plays and likes. The plays is the lil File:B start.gif next to the red/green bar under the title and mapper. The more of the green the bar is, the more people like it.
I would recommend only doing the Easy modes of these maps, but if you get bored try the Normals :)
Easy songs I like are:
"Kokoro" by Kagamine Rin - MAPPED by "Miu Matsuoka"
"Bad Apple" by Masayoshi Minoshima ft nomico - MAPPED by "Ephemeral" (the other modes of this song [Normal, Hard etc] besides Easy are really bad maps :L)
"The Everlasting Guilty Crown -TV Edit-" by EGOIST - MAPPED by "Yauxo"
For more of a challenge:
"Nevereverland" by nano - MAPPED by "Nyquill"
"PONPONPON" by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu - MAPPED by "D33d"
"'Romeo and Cinderella" by Hatsune Miku - MAPPED by "Nekoo[ ]"
"Tear Rain" by Touhou (cYSmix feat. Emmy) - MAPPED by "jonathanlfj"
"Skype x CanCan" by Ara Potato - MAPPED by "Real"
GLHF and remember, it's just a game, so if you get frustrated take a break and try an easier song to warm up. :)

Well, I usually don't get angry over games, (Consedering how I keep losing on BBS) but I'll take little baby steps like you said. This seems like a game that I can relax with, but it looks very hard. EternalNothingnessXIII So...it seems your hearts have led you to obliteration. Perhaps it doesn't pay to be too loyal to one's heart. I will have to be sure and remember that. — 18:36, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
Regardless of what you may have heard about gender neutrality, etc., using "them" when talking about a single person is grammatically incorrect. "Them," "they," and "their" all refer to multiple people/objects.
EternalNothingnessXIII Soon the emptiness will shatter your heart—here in this world of nothingness! As lightless oblivion devours you, drown in the ever-blooming darkness! — 18:51, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
Him/her is just poor writing. "Him or her" is what must be used when the ability can be used by people of both genders. Otherwise, if the ability is exclusive to a male, use "him." If it is exclusive to a female, use "her." If we absolutely must use "them" or any words like it, then instead of saying "______ causes the user to _______," we would have to say "______ causes users to ________."
How about we use "the user" until this is decided? — RikutheBloody 19:50, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
EternalNothingnessXIII Let's see, here... "If the subject fails to respond, use aggression to liberate his true disposition"... Right. Did they ever pick the wrong guy for this one... — 06:49, 10 January 2015 (UTC)
I apologize that I did not respond to this sooner.
The problem there is that would lead to several instances of redundancy. We would be saying "When using Time Splicer, the user teleports from enemy to enemy, striking foes multiple times. Ghostly images of the user are left in the user's wake."
...That sentence actually sounded better than I anticipated it would, but it's still too "user"-y.
Nav Templates
EternalNothingnessXIII Does that mean...it's time for me to go back to where I belong? — 00:07, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
Who told you they were supposed to be in release order? If you had just said that, rather than pointlessly reverting the edits, I would have left the pages alone. Please leave constructive edit summaries when making potentially controversial edits in the future to avoid edit wars and confusion. Thank you.
Sorry for the edit war. Next time I'll post what I'm doing. Didn't mean to cause a commotion. — 00:30, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
EternalNothingnessXIII Cast away your useless fear. Open your heart. Embrace the darkness. — 00:39, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
No worries. Just please answer my question as to who told you nav templates must be listed in the order games were released, or where you found that information. Otherwise, please revert your edits.
Originally, I get all formatting from Sora's page. Since I saw the way things were formatted there, I decided to format it to all pages I come across. — 00:40, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
EternalNothingnessXIII Why is it that you always have to glare at me like that? — 01:22, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
What you should have done (and probably should do) is fix Sora's page to reflect the other articles, rather than fix the other articles to reflect Sora's page. There is probably a reason why we did not list any other nav templates on the other articles that way. You should probably fix Sora's page so the templates are in chronological story order, then revert your edits to all the articles in which you rearranged the nav templates to reflect Sora's page.
Well, whatever you say. — 01:25, 12 January 2015 (UTC)
Yoo your garen template is broken man, you left {{{artwork}}} instead of changing it to {{{Garen}}} :P
Favorite champ eh? Well I have two which I love the most out of any other. The first one is Renek, I learned to play him mid season 4 and ended loving him. His kit, skins, lane potential, basically everything is amazing about him and you will probably see me playing him very often top. Err well on my main account only, I've yet to get him in my smurfs hehe. My other favorite champ is Voli cause he was my first champ I played and he was absolutely amazing for me, heck he even was my first champ I got a skin for.
I see that you play garen a lot and by fortune he is both a top champ and someone I tend to play constantly so I'll see if I can come up with some more tips and guides for you. Although I do recommend you learn other champs and other lanes, you wont be able to get top all of the games once you level up more.
Ah, I see. I've learned to play Master Yi recently, and I think he's top. I would like to try a mid next. I've never fought in the mid section before. How much does Renek cost? Is it that he cost a lot, or you haven't played your smurfs much? — RikutheBloody 14:54, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Well most of us use yi jung rather than top but I have seen a few good yi's top. I'd suggest you learn him in jung but I'm not sure if it is a good idea at your level, jung is hard without runes or masteries but at the same time you need to learn jung early, we will see about that. Mid is not my strong point but I do know my ways around there, you could ask ANX for some tips as well. As for renek, he costs 4800 ip but I rarely use my smurfs so I'm always around the 2k ip mark without gaining much.
Okay, I'll try to go jungle with Yi on my next game. I'm on level ten, so is that good? I'll also give you a reason to use smurfs, later in the day. :p — RikutheBloody 15:17, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
well if I can be honest I do not remember when was the best time to learn jung lol. I learnt it very late, almost near level 30 when everything was taken and I was forced to jung soo, bad memories. But yea good point, that will make me use smurfs. I also have something for you. Let me know if that is what you wanted or if I should change something.
Thank you, I'm using images for another wiki far away. Its an anime. (If you know what that is.) I will bring more soon, but seriously, thanks. — 15:54, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Look who is next on the chopping block. In other words, thanks! I only moved a bit the colors because I have too much maroon in my other templates and this color fits more the desert/shurima theme
Edit: You might want to upload the garen icon somewhere in case wikia makes changes to the links and that one ends up breaking everything

First of all, thank you for asking to edit my page and not just doing it yourself. Secondly, sure it's cool for now, just know that I may undo it if i don't like it. But if I undo it, no hard feelings towards you, I just don't like the edit. :D Chainoffire 20:53, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
Okay, let's see how it works. RikutheBloody 23:05, 1 February 2015 (UTC)
Image cropping
I'm not sure what program you use but if the outline of the image gets removed the tolerance of your cropping tool (magic wand etc.) is probably too high. --ShardofTruth 20:27, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
It's really sensitive, if that's what you mean by high. I might have to find another one. RikutheBloody 20:30, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
If it's really sensitive it would just select a few colors, the higher the tolerance the more colors get picked and removed if you delete them. To crop images with too much transparent space around them you have to select it using only the lowest tolerance/highest sensitivity. For beginners I would advise using the freeware Paint.net, it has most of the features professional image softwares come with but it's much easier too use. --ShardofTruth 13:08, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, lots recommended that for me. The current one is way to flimsy. RikutheBloody 13:10, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
Because technically it is a glitch, as it breaks the games mechanics. The will really isn't supposed to work that way, is just how I see it. RikutheBloody 00:34, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
How do you mean? And if the glitch is present in all versions of the game and doesn't corrupt the save data or anything like that, don't we cover stuff of that ilk already, at least as trivia notes?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves."(KrytenKoro) 14:31, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
I would see having it as a trivia fine, but as an alternate strategy just doesn't seem right. It seems like more of a glitch than anything. RikutheBloody 19:10, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
I would keep the easy method on the page, since it's an easy strategy to defeat a very hard boss. It may be a glitch or bug, but if it doesn't break the game, it can help players defeat the Lingering Will. TheSilentHero 19:17, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
I'm still confused on why it's considered a glitch. From the description, it sounds like it's exploiting the as-built AI, same as using Cartwheel in KHBBS as an invincibility shield."We're werewolves, not swearwolves."(KrytenKoro) 22:23, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
Because the Lingering Will is supposed to react after three finishers, but if you use that trick, he doesn't. I'm not sure why this is, though. I just feel that it isn't necessary to put in the strategy section. RikutheBloody 22:26, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
Okay, but where are you getting that he's "supposed to react after three finishers"? I can rip LW apart quickly and without taking damage simply by using Comet and a few Ethers, and I can exploit Berserk Charge to make a joke of most of the Mushroom XIII -- but these are strategies the Ultimania even points out as recommended. This kind of AI exploitation is also common in similar games like DMC, with cancelling, and is even on record as a purposefully included mechanic that is simply not explained or mentioned within the game. Beyond it being too easy, what makes it seem to be a glitch to you? Does the game freeze, or produce any visual clashes? For comparison, we cover tricking the AI by hiding behind a rock, as well."We're werewolves, not swearwolves."(KrytenKoro) 23:57, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
I personally feel that yes, it is a glitch, since it probably shouldn't be that easy. However, that doesn't make it an illegitimate strategy. Like Kryten just pointed out, there's a glitch in the AI of the Vanitas Remnant that allows you to trick it; that doesn't make it an illegitimate strategy. We should definitely cover this strategy if one can repeat it. KeybladeSpyMaster 01:07, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
LW reacts after 25 "revenge value" (which is part of the game's coding, though I'm not entirely sure how to explain it concisely since it's never been officially acknowledged IIRC), not necessarily "three finishers" (although the more common strats against him do bring him above that threshold, hence the common misconception). I want to say the Fenrir+Negative Combo exploit is based on that, but I'm not entirely sure. Ultima Spark(talk) 01:53, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
I just don't think it's necessary to add as a strategy, same goes for Vanitas LW. If we already have strategies, is it really necessary to have videos, and an additional strategy? I could see putting it with trivia or such, but it seems somehow weird if we put it with the strategy. That's just like using my bbs strategy for every boss. Spam dodge roll, and have 4 fire surges, and 4 cures. RikutheBloody 13:27, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
Isn't the purpose of the Strategy section to give players advice on how to beat a boss? If exploiting this glitch is an easy way to victory than we should cover that in the Strategy section. I think that video's help players if they don't understand the text or not speak English, and additional strategies help if you can't win with the first strategy, so in my opinion it all belongs on the page. TheSilentHero 13:33, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
Okay, so:
In the game coding is something that causes the LW to retaliate after a certain amount of attacks.
In the game coding is something that keeps the first event from triggering.
Neither of these causes any obvious faults, like graphical faults or freezing, and thus neither are glitches. It's exploiting the coding of the AI in a possibly non-intuitive fashion, certainly, but isn't that the point of everything regarding the superbosses anyway?
As for Thunder Surge...that's not a glitch strategy. If it works (without crashing the game), it works. Our strategies should be whatever is the most reliable, least burdensome method to beat the boss -- whatever requires the least grinding or item buying, and at their best, can be done without taking damage. The strategies should not be what produces the flashiest battles. Furthermore, it's acceptable to have two or three strategies presented, if readers find that the first is not reliable enough for them."We're werewolves, not swearwolves."(KrytenKoro) 17:17, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
I understand what you are saying, Kryten, but I just feel it's kinda crazy for putting it on the strategy. I don't care/mind if its moved back, it just feels kinda redundant to have it there. RikutheBloody 18:53, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
The strategy section as it is right now is still largely a near word-for-word transcription of Everglow's guide video, which is not something it should be. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 19:03, 25 February 2015 (UTC)
