Applause, Applause (アプローズプリーズ Apurōzu Purīzu?, lit. "Applause, Please") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. It allows Sora and Jack Skellington to perform the limit, Dance Call.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts II, Applause, Applause is an action ability exclusive to Jack Skellington. It is a Limit Command that costs 3 AP to equip and all MP to execute. Upon activation of Dance Call, Jack immediately sends Sora spinning like a top. The player has the opportunity to navigate at enemies to rack up damage. While the Limit is active, Sora and Jack enter a formation consisting of Jack on top of Sora, both spinning in a taller version of the opening move. At this point, the player has the option of using Synchronization or Downbeat.

Synchronization sends Jack on top of their formation and Sora to the bottom, where Jack emits a pumpkin emblem to fire ghosts and Sora likewise fires bats, both in an area of effect range. In Downbeat, Sora moves to the top this time to fire ghosts while Jack goes on bottom to fire bats. After 5 shots of Downbeat or Synchronization, the finishing move, Finale, becomes available; however, the player is advised to run down the Limit gauge for as long as possible to rack up free hits from the top formation. With Finale, Jack sends Sora flying into the air and unleashes a more powerful version and mixed version of both ghosts and bats around the dancing duo. Sora and Jack then hit the ground, sending out sparklers and concluding the Limit.
