Aqua using Confuse

Confuse (コンフュ Konfyu?) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to confuse surrounding enemies and cause them to attack each other.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Confuse is a Magic Sleight that temporarily confuse enemies so they attack less often.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Confuse is a Basic magic command that takes up one slot in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 3 and a normal reload time of 10 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 8%.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Confuse is a magic command that has a memory consumption of 14% and a reload time of 30 seconds. In addition to confusing enemies, it also deals a small amount of damage.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Confuse is a magic command that has a 100% chance of confusing enemies for six seconds. It takes up one slot in the Command Deck and has a normal reload time of 16 seconds.

  • Sora learns Confuse after finding Piglet.
    • Its card combination is:

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

  • Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can purchase Confuse from the Command Shop for 100 munny once one world is cleared or the command has already been obtained elsewhere.
  • Terra, Ventus, and Aqua can find Confuse as a bonus on the Keyblade Board.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

  • Data-Sora can obtain Confuse as the reward for defeating the Trickmaster on Beginner mode.
  • Data-Sora can obtain Confuse as the A reward for defeating the Trickmaster on Proud mode.
  • Data-Sora can obtain Confuse as the B reward for defeating the Trickmaster on Standard mode.
  • Data-Sora can obtain Confuse as the B reward for defeating the Rock Titan on Beginner mode.
  • Data-Sora can purchase Confuse from the Shop for 800 munny once the player has cleared Hollow Bastion.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

  • Sora and Riku can purchase Confuse from the Komory Bat Ability Link for 60 points.
  • Sora and Riku can purchase Confuse from the Moogle Shop for 200 munny, 160 on bargain days, after reaching Shop Level 2.
