Would anybody be particularly opposed to me reworking this into something like the enemy template, with tabs for different games and aligned to the top right of articles? The current setup creates too much white space for my liking. Interobangu 01:56, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

That's actually one of the things that was on our list, yeah. Do you think the InfoKey template should include the cards, as well, since that has a wildly different setup and image?Glorious CHAOS! 02:46, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

"Magic boost"

This is completely redundant. The text is just indicating that the MP given by the Keyblade boosts the strength of magic; the "magic boost" is not independent of the MP. Pink Agaricus (talk) 08:41, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

Actually, I believe the ultimania treats magic enhancement as a separate stat. Also note that the descriptions imply that the two are separate, and that while there are no Keyblades or accessories that enhance magic but do not raise MP, the converse is not true. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 14:44, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
I have the Ultimania and, no, it doesn't. The description is there to emphasize the better magic you'll get because more MP = better magic isn't really stated in the game.
What the Ultimania does do is show you all of the formulas of magic. All them use only MP. You can easily confirm what I'm saying in your own game. Pink Agaricus (talk) 15:09, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

I don't have the game. Also, we already have the formulas here, so I'm not arguing that point. If you're right about it not being a stat, then I don't know why we put it in the infobox, since we DO have people who have the ultimania who DID help with it. Basically, what I'm saying is, I'm confused. I'm also confused about why we never added a critical hit stat to the box, since that's CLEARLY something that varies between Keyblades. Does the ultimania have anything on those, by the way? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 16:05, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

I can understand where the confusion comes from on all sides, since the in-game description is misleading. Still, the reality is that only MP matters. But, yes, the Ultimania has critical hit info (and recoil). I'll just put them here. Pink Agaricus (talk) 17:16, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
So the Ultima Weapon description is wrong? I guess I can get the template reconfigured."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:19, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
Not sure what you mean by it being wrong. Pink Agaricus (talk) 08:28, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

Wow, this is great, thanks Pink Agaricus, this is the first time I see those stats. Critical rate is the multiplier for the chance of delivering a critical blow, recoil is self-explaining but what exactly does the number mean and what is the critical revision? --77.184.119.251 07:58, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

Well, the Ultimania has explanations for every attribute, but I'm not fluent enough in Japanese to translate it. But I assume the higher the recoil number, the harder it is to "deflect" (as per the in-game description). From my experience, it basically means "blocks attacks more". You can see Goofy's defense-based shields have a higher recoil number, too. Critical revision is basically the additional bonus the weapon gives to critical hits. I dunno the exact formula for Critical Hits, though. Pink Agaricus (talk) 08:28, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
Just that Ultima Weapon is the only one where the MP Bonus doesn't correlate to the description saying "raises magic and summon power". Honestly, I think that's the reason we even assumed they were separate in the first place.
Does the Ultimania list the default Crit rate? Also, is this calculated before or after Critical Plus?
I've revised the template, so someone needs to implement the new stats."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 08:44, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
