OPXion4EverIcon.png After exploring in-game on numerous save files, it is safe to say that no minor characters have their own journal entries for Kingdom Hearts II. Roxas's diary doesn't even mention them nor anything else other than the objective at hand. The only minor character that is even mentioned in Jiminy's Journal is Hayabusa. Even then, it is still an excerpt from Shan-Yu's journal entry: "Shan-Yu has fierce eyes and is always seen with a hawk who serves as his eyes and ears from above."

This article's creation has been briefly discussed on Shan-Yu's talkpage.

As I said there, I'm a bit mixed on this article, guys. First, I don't see how any of these guys merit their own article. They don't really supply enough information to have an article. To be quite frank, they don't supply much in-game either; hence the term "minor" character. If this article is going to be created, we need a definition of what makes a minor character. Is it for all NPC's in each game? Is it only NPC's that pertain to the story development/plot? It it for characters that do absolutely nothing, but appear in game? Is it for NPC's, do-nothings, and inferred people? etc.

If we haven't already, I think just adding their image to the respective gallery and maybe a little tid bit in the story section (Example: The Mad Hatter and March Hare can be seen in the picture above the dining table in the Tea Party Garden.) would suffice. As for manga characters, I've finished the KH manga articles up to volume 4. We could follow the above suggestion only on the respective manga volume and episode article.

I'm up for merging this minor character information in their respective articles (world articles/manga episodes/etc.). I'm against this page entirely if we do decide to keep it, but also decide to take any mention the minor character has out of an already exisiting article.

If a character actually appears, and is not just inferred like the Mad Hatter or the Tramp, then there's enough info for a separate article: image, lead, plot role, and disney background. We don't need each article to be huge in order to be informative and comprehensive, as many of our ability articles have shown. In fact, allowing separate articles for each minor character would give new editors something easy to do."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:13, 19 June 2013 (UTC)
