Project: World Mapping
Really gotta work on this for the walkthrough. I have done map drafts for the world locations. You cannot see them because I used <!-- --> to hide them. I've only done the mappings for the games I play as well as DDD.
I'm also doing mappings (at the moment, rough drafts) for each world in the series, but only two (Hollow Bastion and Space Paranoids) are in a completed state.
Project: DDD
3DS menu screen: Sora and Meow Wow. Sora is asleep, and is leaning on Meow Wow, who's sniffing the ground.
My current goal is to "finish" the article for The Grid, so it can be the featured article for Christmas. I shall gather the data once all worlds but TWTNW is completed. I'll also gather the data for the other Disney worlds, as well.

We should be working on the manga pages for this wiki, soon. I found a site that can help: Click here and see. (It's interesting to note that the comedy is a little crude, but not as bad as Pokémon Pocket Monsters, which has an extremely rude Clefairy)
Attempts to find the manga addaptions for CoM (English) and KHII have not been so easy, but Manga Fox can provide the mangas; also, the ones for KHII have been translated into my language, so there's no need to worry about translating the lines, now.

Project: Foreshadowing
- "All for one, and one for all!" - The original motto of Sora, Donald and Goofy (though only spoken twice). Forshadows the film that Country of the Musketeers was baised on (the film came out in 2004; two years after Kingdom Hearts)
- It's presummed that the quote came from Country of the Musketeers, as it was the main motto for the musketeers, and Donald and Goofy were already royal musketeers by this point (Sora himself later became one).
- The ending of Tron: Legacy - Forshadowed in 2006. RG Tron mentioned that the original system was destroyed (look what happens at the end of the film).
- Though he could be referencing The Grid, which was destroyed by the Heartless. Not to mention that it later became a sleeping world. How does RG Tron know all this? He shares his Heart with the original Tron, who later became Rinzler, and was killed by Riku.
Project: Film Differences
Currently my gatherings from the films, to see how close the KH series has followed the films. Worlds like Port Royal and the Pride Lands follow pritty closely; worlds like Atlantica and Space Paranoids are loosely baised on the films they come from. You may help with the gathering, but please make sure it is 100% accurate, in past tence, and spelt in good English.
I'm currently watching movies that have worlds baised on them. Some of them have to be watched in the main room of my home, as some of them won't work on my computer, since it cannot support special editions and Blu-Rays. Films that work have their names in Green; films that won't work are in orange; untested films are in gold; Blu-Ray films are in blue.
This list does not include 100 Acre Wood, Disney Castle and it's spin-off worlds, or Deep Jungle.

Atlantica's storyline, especially in KHII, is quite cliché in contrast to the original storyline being more beautiful and touching. Plotline's pritty twisted and got plenty of holes in it. It's quite ironic that some quotes in the game are dirrectly taken from the film. Along with Prankster's Paradise, the story has to be among the worst I've ever seen.
KHII
- While there is a musical in the film, it only appears at the beginning and is unimportant to the storyline. In Kingdom Hearts II, the musical takes place after Ursula's defeat, and is an important part of the story.
- In the film, Ariel sings Part of Your World just before Eric's party on his ship. In the game, she performs it after Flounder brings her the statue from the ship.
- The point where she obtains the statue in KHII is much earlier than in the film; taking place before Under the Sea instead of right after.
- In Kingdom Hearts II, Ariel goes for a swim at the surface after the cyclone, and finds Eric drifting at sea (in a way similar to how Elizabeth Swann found Will Turner at the begining of the first Pirates of the Caribbean film). In the film, however, she watches his party up close after performing Part of Your World, just as the cyclone began. Eric ran back on board to save Max, his dog, and is caught up when the ship exploded due to gunpowder. Ariel quickly rescued him when he fell into the water, drags him to the shore, then sang to him after she notices that he's breathing.
- In Kingdom Hearts II, while Ariel performed Swim this Way, Eric hears her performance and asks her to come out so he can thank her. This did not happen in the film, as Swim This Way didn't appear in the film.
- In the film, Sebastian and a group of fish sang Under the Sea as a spur-of-the-moment type song while trying to get Ariel to take her mind off the human world (but did not notice that she snuck off with Flounder halfway through). In Kingdom Hearts II, the song was a request by King Triton, and was, thus, planned before sung. Also, unlike in the film, Ariel stayed through the whole song, and even sang a few lines. The song was suppost to be the song at the musical, but Ariel refuses to sing it.
- When King Triton confronted Ariel in her grotto in the film, his anger lead him to destroy everything she had collected, including the statue. In the game, he only destroyed the statue.
- When Ursula transformed Ariel into a human in the film, she did so with the use of a spell involving several ingredients while singing Poor Unfortunate Souls. After Ariel was transformed, Flounder and Sebastian had to drag her to the surface. The transformation happened in Ursula's Lair. In the game, it happened in the main area, without the use of potions. The song was not performed, and Sora dragged Ariel to the surface instead of Flounder.
- When Ariel was transformed into a human, she already wore a sail around her body in the game (presumally due to data issues and censors). In the film, Scuttle gave her the sail just before she and Eric met.
- Instead of following Ariel around (and nearly being cooked by Louis), Sebastian stayed in the ocean in the game.
- Kiss the Girl was not sung. Instead, Ariel and Eric came close to kissing natually, but their kiss was cancelled when the Eels rocked their boat. Unlike in the film, they managed to stay onboard.
- It was at this point that Eric learned of Ariel's name. It's unknown how he learned in the game. (This must be a plot hole)
- Ursula vanished sometime before the second night, according to Sora. In the film, she took on her Vanessa appearance after the Kiss the Girl sequence and appeared on the beach singing with Ariel's voice.
- Ursula was found out by Flounder in the game by regonising her necklace, causing Sora to destroy it with a beam of light. In the film, Eric and "Vanessa" were due to be married on a ship. As Scuttle was flying by, he spots "Vanessa" singing Poor Unfortunate Souls, and her reflection in the mirror is that of Ursula, thus, exposing her. Scuttle then flew back to Ariel and warned her. He then sent an army of sea creatures to attack "Vanessa". He soon managed to rip the necklace off of her (with Max's help) and sent it crashing to the ground.
- Ariel became a human shortly after Ursula's defeat in the film. In the game, she remains a mermaid for awhile (so she can perform A New Day is Dawning with her friends and family). It's unknown when she became human, but it most likely happened shortly after Xemnas was defeated.
Halloween Town
How close to film: Not meant to be
Overall
- It's always night time in Halloween Town in the games. In the film, however, almost half of the plot took place in the day time.
- Despite the fact that The Nightmare Before Christmas has more songs in it than The Little Mermaid, Halloween Town's storyline did not advance through musicals.
Never Land
How close to film: Not meant to be
KH1
- Wendy's brothers did not appear at all in Kingdom Hearts.
Land of Dragons
How close to film: Closely
Not as funny as the film, but it still follows closely. Among the best I've seen, so far.
KHII
- The point where Shang became impressed with Ping in the film was when (s)he was able to reach the arrow on top of the pole. In the game, it didn't happen until the avalanche, which was also the point where (s)he gained his trust in both the film and game.
- Shan-Yu's army was made up of Huns in the film, and Rapid Thrusters in the game.
- Shan-Yu didn't get a chance to reach Ping when (s)he sent the rocket towards the mountain in the game. Also, Mushu's quote was changed to "You're going the wrong way!" when he was sent (on the rocket, of course) to his presummed death.
- Mulan's exposure as a female in the film is different in KHII; in the film, she was wounded by Shan-Yu and was forced to expose her gender for medical attention. In the game, Mushu blew her cover by refering to her as a female and by her real name.
- The battle in the palace took place at night in the film, and during the day in the game. Also, the Emperor is captured by the Huns in the film, and saved by Shang in KHII.
- Shan-Yu's defeat is different. In the film, he is blown up by Mushu, while he simally collapes in the game.
- The crowd reacts differntly to the Emperor's speach on Mulan saving China. In the film, they bow down to her. In the game, they cheered instead. Mulan is also dubbed "China's Bravest Woman" in the game, which didn't happen in the film.
- Mulan obtains two item from the Emperor in the film: a pendent and Shan-Yu's sword. She only gets the latter in the game, which is revealed to be the item that would open the gate to Olympus Coliseum.
- Mushu reveals that he's not a guardian dragon to Mulan in the mountains in the film. In the game, he accidently exposes it following Shan-Yu's defeat, which enranges Sora.
- Following the defeat of the Storm Rider, Mulan becomes a protector for the Emperor, alongside Shang. In the film, she was offered a position with the Emperor, but turned it down so she can return home.
Beast's Castle
How close to film: Loosely
Port Royal
How close to film: Closely
A lot of lines during the first visit come dirrectly from the film in the English version. Among the best in keeping the story close to the film, though it could have been better.
KHII
- It's always night time in Port Royal in the game. In the films, however, most of the plot took place in the day time.
- The Interceptor was stolen in the daytime in the film. In the game, it happened during the night. The way it was stolen in KHII is different in the game.
- Sparrow never got his crew from the pirate harbor (which included a woman, a dwarf and a mute with a parrot). In fact, his only crew members in KHII were Sora, Donald and Goofy.
- Unlike in the film, Sparrow was tied up while held on the Black Pearl.
- What Barbossa and his crew did to the party and Elizabeth Swann was different from the film. Rather than desert them on an island, they tied them up, put them inside the Interceptor, and covered the ship in Gunpowder. Sparrow was able to free himself, somehow, and then unties the others. They soon sent the gunpowder into the ocean, and sailed off to find Will Turner.
- The Aztec Treasure was never dumped into the ocean in the film. Instead, Jack the Monkey took a piece of gold and restarted the curse. This time, he was the only one cursed. (This could explain why Sparrow became cursed because of the Grim Reaper rather than the treasure in the game)
Pride Lands
How close to film: Closely
Some of the quotes in the game were taken dirrectly from the film, especially the ones with the confrontation with Scar at Pride Rock.
- Scar fell to his death in the game (only to come back as a Heartless). In the film, he survived the fall... only to be ripped to shreads by the hyenas he betrayed earlier.
Space Paranoids/The Grid
How close to film: Not meant to be (KHII); Closely (DDD)
Well, everyone knows that Space Paranoids is, indeed, not meant to be like the film, but there are some referances to the film during the third and final visit; even some of the lines came from it. In the meanwhile, The Grid's storyline is very close to the film it's baised on, especially in Riku's story. Some quotes are even dirrectly from the film.
Overall
- All programs and users were required to obtain Identity Disks, but Sora and his friends didn't get their own in KHII. It was not until Dream Drop Distance that Sora and Riku obtain their own Identity Disks while in The Grid, but it's currently unknown if Sora will retain his disk should he ever return to Space Paranoids.
KHII
- Only three characters from the film, all programs, appeared.
- The Pit Cell did not have a terminal in the film. Nither did the I/O Tower.
- The Canyon and Dataspace were created for the game. They did not appear in the original film.
- The Light Cycles were designed differently than in the original film, appearing closer to it's sequal.
DDD
- When Sam Flynn was captured in the film, he was in his userworld clothes. He obtained his outfit and disk from Gem. In the game, he already has these, presumally because he already took part in the games and escaped before.
- The events of the End of Line Club did take place, but Riku didn't have any part of it.
- Quorra's right arm was damaged in the film, but in the game, it was her left.
- In the film, Rinzler was killed after he kamikazed into CLU's Jet Fighter, and then fell into the Sea of Simulation, where he drowned. In the game, after he remembers Sora, CLU recaptures him and makes him kidnap Quorra, only for Rinzler to later be thrown off the ship. It's unknown what happened to Rinzler, but it's likely he survived, since he later challenges Sora to another battle (though whether or not he does so as Tron is unclear).
- CLU took his Throneship to the portal in the game (Rinzler was already killed by this point, so the Jet Fighter scene was unneeded).
- The portal to the userworld was not destroyed in the game, since Riku can be seen standing in it after Sam and Quorra escape and Flynn dies.
Dwarf Woodlands
How close to film: Loosely
BbS
- Grimhilde sent a huntsman to kill Snow White in the film. In the game, she sent Terra. Both were reluctant to kill her: the Huntsman because of her beauty, and Terra because he didn't want to make the same mistake he did with Aurora.
- Snow White was lead to the Dwarfs' Cottage by a bunch of friendly animals in the film, and by Ventus in the game.
Enchanted Dominion
How close to film: Loosely
Castle of Dreams
How close to film: Closely
Among the best in keeping with the plot of the film. Around the same levels as The Grid.
BbS
- The fates of the Tremaines are unknown in the film, as they did not appear during the wedding scene. In the game, the trio were killed by the Cursed Coach because of their Hearts being even more black than Maleficent's.
Deep Space

La Cité des Cloches

DDD
- Only seven characters from the film appear.
- In the film, Quasimodo and Phoebus were captured and gagged by Clopin and the other gypsies and put on trial. They were saved from hanging by Esmeralda. Since Clopin does not appear in Dream Drop Distance, this scene never happened.
- A crowd was watching Esmeralda's execution in the film. In the game, however, the only audiance member was Sora. (This could be because there was not enough data to hold so many people in one scene. In contrast, there was a big crowd of people in the Land of Dragons following Shan-Yu's defeat in Kingdom Hearts II; though since none of them were moving, it's possible that they were simpally a background effect).

Between PAL and NTSC
Kingdom Hearts II
I want to know if the PAL version for Kingdom Hearts II has got any differences from the NTSC version, so I made this list. Contribute if you have an English copy of the game in NTSC (I've got the UK version, which is PAL).
Between Normal and Greatest Hits
My new version is a re-release of the game, as the disks say 2009, so it's kind of the UK version of the Greatest Hits that the US has.

Getting the colors suitable for the Underworld is a challenge, compared to Port Royal and 100 Acre Wood. Who knows when it will be "perfected", but since OC is the sixth world in the game, maybe I can use the actual design as insperation...

Be thankful that it's not The Grid, otherwise the blue will be even darker. However, I don't consider the colors to match. We need a more cyan-blue with grey to match the half-monochrome cyberspace (remember: the film was shot in black-and-white, making Space Paranoids a monochrome world like Timeless River, despite the colors inserted)

First of all, we should search the wiki for any links connected to the old pages (which are still viewable as of May 15). This includes the userbox templates (I've already handled the forms for Halloween Town, Christmas Town and Space Paranoids, as of May 15).
In the series, there are six worlds (seven if you count Christmas Town as a separate world) with a form/costume change. Atlantica and Pride Lands are the only worlds where the change in form affects gameplay; the others are simpally costume changes. We originally had an article for each form/costume per character, but when The Grid was announced, we decided to merge them, as they are not really needed (since we are not a Sci-Fi wiki).

Ratchetpedia Works
I know, I know. I should be experimenting Ratchetpedia's templates on my Arenero there. However, since there are very few people there, I prefer to work on the templates here until I insure that they are ready for the wiki.
