Dark Splicer
Dark Splicer (ダークスプライサー Dāku Supuraisā) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Dark Splicer is a command available in Ventus's final battle against Vanitas when he uses Vanitas as a Dimension Link. Similar to when executing Time Splicer, Ventus teleports around Vanitas, attacking him. The player can extend Dark Splicer's duration by pressing the buttons that flash on the screen.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Dark Splicer is an attack command exclusive to Riku that uses two slots in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 32 seconds. This version of Dark Splicer is more similar to Time Splicer, as enemies are inflicted with the Stop status ailment before Riku proceeds to teleport around and attack them.
