Forum:Disney from America
Have anyone noticed that the majority of the characters were from Disney, but Kingdom Hearts was made in Japan? Well, Walt Disney was an American. The Mickey Mouse cartoons were American. The Disney movies were American. The Disney company was American. So why would a Disney game come from Japan? How did Nomara know about Disney? Were the movies dubbed in Japanese? In fact, why are the final mixes Japanese exclusives? The closest thing we have as an American exclusive is Re:Chain of Memories, but it was in Japan before it came here. So why would Japan steal Disney? SeanWheeler 22:23, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
The cartoons I'm sure were dubbed in Japanese long ago and I know the movies were. Nomura also studied cartooning and Disney is the king of that...'Telpë quetil...'[Sea] 22:26, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
And kh is a cooperation between Disney and SE... there was no 'stealing'. 'Telpë quetil...'[Sea] 22:28, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
It is profoundly ignorant to suggest that Japan "stole" Disney. 1) If they had used Disney characters like they are without Disney's consent, there'd have been lawsuits up that wazoo (Disney is a huge stickler for protecting their copyrights). 2) Simply having Disney cartoons/movies in Japan does not mean they were "stolen". By that logic, the US, UK, Australia, etc. "stole" Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy, etc. from Japan. 3) "How did Nomura know about Disney?" ...Are you kidding me? There isn't an adult alive that doesn't know in some manner what/who Disney was, especially these days. This is the digital age, you can find out anything you want. For crap's sake...LapisLazuliScarab22:45, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
No, I mean, how come we can't have American exclusives? SeanWheeler 22:55, November 2, 2010 (UTC)
