To be honest, I don't wanna go either. I told Unbirth, I don't wanna even leave the house. See, even he (all the way in France) finds it idiotic. I'd call it mismanagement of the training camps, because if they were properly developed and managed, I think not a single casualty would've happened. But there's too much rapport with suppliers, and because of them they don't wanna stop NS. See, they're trying to be as ambitious as our neighbours in Singapore, who have National Service for 2 years, but let's face it - we just can't.

She was hospitalised for three months or so, but the docs couldn't find any strain of illness within her. No one knows how she died, till this very day. But one thing's for sure : her parents (whom I shan't call my grandparents anymore) weren't even there when she needed them. I hold them responsible for her passing.

I think your mother wanted you to live a good, happy life. Any parent would want that for their child. Just think, one more time. You said you and your mother was close, then think of the thing she really wanted to do before she died.
She wanted to come home during her hospitalisation, but she never even could spend a day home with us. I kept telling her we'd down a few sticks of satay - as I remembered the Saturday nights we used to spend together, mom, dad and I... but it never came to be.
Also, now, I'm torn between living my dream and a professional qualification. Maybe she won't be at rest, not until I get called to the Bar... I can't say for sure.

We'll have to assemble in a pick-up point (mine's the Bukit Jalil stadium, where the 1998 Commonwealth Games were held), and then, from there, a coach takes us to the airport (nearest to my area is Kuala Lumpur International Airport) - from there, we fly off to Miri. The tickets are sponsored, if I'm not mistaken.

Well, I guess this is it, trois. This is the last that I'll hear from you for 82 days. Yes, I guess you could consider this yet another rambling of mine, but I just have to say a final farewell. And along those lines, I can't believe that the time is finally here, to say goodbye....
Let me start by saying this: You were the first person to help me on the Wiki. You helped me with the talkbox and userbox, not to mention answer all of my montages of questions! You were my first friend on the Wiki, and without a doubt, my best friend on here as well. Without having someone like you to help me along, I may have just been one of those Users who made a few edits, and never came back afterwards. I've also been happy to help you when I did, like testing battles on Kingdom Hearts Legacy. You truly are one of the best editors on the Wiki, and now it will be so empty, not seeing that smiling Yuffie on the talk page for new pages....
Over this last week, I've tried to get out all of my questions for you involving the Wiki. I was happy, though, to get to ask questions about your life, and to get to know you better. You'll be my thoughts and prayers for the next 82 days, Annette, I promise.
By the way, the Instrumental version of Hikari in the background isn't exactly lifting my mood up, but it seems to just fit, you know? Just thought I would throw that in there. ^_^ That version of the smile I learned from you; before, I would just use :). Now I use both, and I actually prefer ^_^ over :) now!
So, this is it, trois. The last that I'll hear from you for 82 days. But I know that it isn't the last thing I'll say to you, because I know that you're going to make it through whatever this National Service will put you through. My advice ? Well...... keep on doing the good work that you do, and I'm sure those efforts of yours won't go unrecognised. @NinjaSheik : Starting 16th June, not for the next 82 days. Because those training camps have zero internet, and I'm using a desktop computer over here, and I can't possibly lug it all the way there. :D And fittingly, I'm leaving at 0:00 (UTC) - that's 8 a.m. over my side.

Well how fitting, it's 10PM over here. I read about the National Service in Malysia on Wikipedia, recently. The section said that only about 20% currently are being drafted, but there's a plan to make it 100% of those eligible. :'(
