I'm doing my social service, which is this stupid thing where you go to some company and act as pretty much a slave for six months so I can get a happy paper that says I was useful for society and THEN they let me graduate from college... I'm supposed to be typing some letters and stuff but I'm rolling around here instead *cackles*

At least in your case, it's in a company. For me... I might be going for three months of pointless National Service (perhaps in June, after the A-Levels exams, but I don't wanna go !), which is almost military-esque in training... and what reforms can be done to our poor youth in three months ? I seriously think it's a bunch o' bull crap, but if I don't go, there's a high probability of me getting a community punishment order in court.
There's more to being useful to society than just....... I don't know, attending these crappy programmes.

Girl power pawns!! *cough* The point about social service is to get some kind of experience that will be useful for your working life... but I studied biology and they use me as a secretary... I certainly don't do many biology stuff while being in hereand the worst thing is that they don't pay me *tear* so I spend six months of my life working in something I don't like and not getting paid for it!!
I'm beginning to think many countries have some kind of useless program meant to scar the youth... or maybe I'm just paranoid XD!

I think you aren't. Many, if not most, have such a programme. Only that... they keep it going because of rapport with the suppliers. But then again, don't they realise that they're using taxpayers' money ? Rather than keep the suppliers, why not win the favour of the multitude of people ?

You're right, cooking lessons were nice, I finally learned how to bake cookies, with chocolate chips, and some other sweets that make me feel happy and fuzzy inside XD. Still I sometimes regret not learning French, perhaps I should put a Frminus5 note somewhere around in my user page, just to show that I can't understand French for the life of me BUT I do have the intention of learning it! har har!

After considering it for a second my conclusion was that leaving it like that would leave me rather unhappy. I'll have to leave it until i finish my thesis tho, or I'll be booked with work, languages and social service (which i'm doing right now and still sneaking online HA!)

Actually, Tort is a part of English law (considering that Commonwealth countries use the English legal system). Only that in Malaysia, we've already codified the law. Tort exists in English law because it's very hard to place them into separate codes or acts.
And about torture.... yep, sometimes I feel Tort comes from the word "torture" when actually, it doesn't....... the word tort is French for "wrong".

lol! i'm not a fan of Donald either, his magic always seems to cause more trouble than anything else, and yes, he DOES die often... I usually switch him off as well, the question came to my mind once I was doing some item hunting for synthesis and using the 7 Lucky Lucky combo. I randomly entered a cup and noticed (after finishing the cup and returning to my item hunting) that my items were slow to come thanks to Auron being replaced by Donald and me barely noticing it XD.
Maybe the answer will come, one day. Or maybe it's just an evil glitch of D00m!!!!
