why doesn't cid fight?

Apparently his purpose was to be the tech geek of Kingdom Hearts. Or at least, that's how we look at it. Amy Cotton - Trust in yourself and you can archive anything. TALK - You are better off talking to me here. How come there is nothing about Cid (or a data version of himself) being on Kingdom Hearts coded‎‎? In the video, he was seen talking to the data Sora.
