Days Mission Articles

Hey there, I am pleased to announce that the Days mission articles are finally complete! From the walkthroughs to the treasure tables, everything is included except for the videos (I'll find them later). Randomnessity and myself completed the last dozen earlier today. You're welcome! It was bothering me that they were just a bunch of empty articles, so I enlisted xion for help(she may have ended doing more work than me) and we took it down. It was kind of fun. About the "unidle hands". Nowadays, since the death of my slinky, I usually mess with Legos. Although after I've clicked them around for about a minute my mom gets ticked off and tells me to stop. The slinky was the way to go for me I guess. Also, I don't think I would have the patience to make a rubberband ball. Randomnessity Looks like you're prepared.

Looks like someone else got most of the stuff you needed, but you know where to reach me if you need me. ^_- How are things going for you? Are you up to anything big now?

Let's see... I've got : law dissertations, which they gave in the middle of December. The teachers just had to make things difficult for us, see ? The last one is to be handed in this Tuesday. KHFR's first anniversary is coming up on February 2nd, so we're in the midst of planning something special. Over on Kingdom Hearts Fanon Wiki there's this guy who has been asking me the same question for eleven or twelve times on my talk page and I've really hit boiling point. Friday marked 2 years on drums for me ^_^ Though I didn't know how to give myself a little reward for that occasion, so it passed like any other normal day. But apart from that, it's all good. The one thing is that no matter how unspoiled I try to keep myself, I will still be spoiled anyway, because Unbirth gets all the spoilers before me and insists on showing them to me, so I can't do much :P Helping others always comes before asking others for help. • TroisNyxÉtienne — 04:42, January 17, 2010 (UTC)

I tried to edit Ansem, but I can't. I was trying to put on his appearance that during the part where he was murged into the World of Chaos, he is remarkably taller than when he is not merged to it. It appears that Sora, if measured from Ansem's feet, that he only comesup to Ansem's knee. If you don't mind, do you think you may be able to get someone or yourself to put it on for me. My favorite Lupin III flick after Cagliostro is The Fuma Conspiracy, which you would particularly enjoy as a Goemon fan. Not sure if it's still available, but if you can find it, it's worth a look. The second TV series is also quite well done.

I'm presumably Larxene because she's the only female XIII member (or was at the time, anyway), and I'm the only female administrator. I know some got assigned since they were already being represented by those characters. Otherwise, it was up to whoever made the page.

I recently started the Kingdom Hearts Canon-Fanon Wiki (link found on my User Page), where I will be telling the story of and creating a game for the Keyblade War. If I got enough support, I wanted to send this to Square to see officialism. You're welcome to take a look around at what little I've accomplished so far, as well as get a gist for the plot, but I was hoping to, as the title implys, affiliate with the Wiki. Cursing on pages

He used the f bomb when in Kairi's letter it said One Sky, He put One ------ sky. Thought I should let you know and have a great rest of the weekend ^_^. EDIT: Here is the ID:79.65.137.197. Xion4ever and Ultima have gotten him for cursing previously and actually I think Xion told him off for the one on Sora's page. Just thought you would like to know. DOUBLE EDIT: Hey, XIon got him for the same word on the CHristmas Town page. Hmmmmmmmmm... How many edits will i make to this ^^_^

Synthesis articles

Please preserve the format that I've used on these pages; it is the same format that is used for item pages throughout the wiki, and putting it in a bullet format makes the page look even more empty.

I'm assuming this is about the Gear Component page, right? I actually found having the information clustered in one paragraph very hard to read, and not very well organized. In addition, I know we like to link to the proper article names as often as possible, but to include the full Mission name after every instance of a Component makes it even more awkward. It might also be wise to distinguish the Random Bonus items from the Clear Bonus items a little more directly instead of just throwing a percentage after the Randoms. If you're concerned about empty space, there are always tables, but I think it's more user-friendly to have it empty and readable than "full" and hard to pick out the information needed. With the "Organization errands", our KH1 synthesis articles group stuff like that with Treasures, and they're essentially of the same nature - do a certain thing, get the item once. Clear bonuses, on the other hand, are farmable, like non-hostile enemy drops.

I went ahead and removed the game headers from Gear Component like you said, and I guess it would be logical to remove them from other "one-game only" synthesis items, though that's going to be FM, KH2FM, Days, and BBS only.

If the "Mission #" redirects are working, I don't think we need to hide the full title behind a pipe - besides, we should make sure they are working.

I would personally prefer "Clear bonus for Mission 32" (or "Random/MG clear bonus"), to fit with the tense of the other entries, if that's okay.Glorious CHAOS! 05:43, February 10, 2010 (UTC)

That's fine. I wasn't sure exactly which tense was being used, since these are new to the format. Good thought on the errands as well; I hadn't looked at them that way. Sora's Heartless

Do you think Sora's Heartless is a character in KHI? Before you replied read this:

At that time in KHI when Sora created Sora's Heartless he was falling into darkness and Sora's Heartless took control until Kairi bring Sora back. Sora even commented to Kairi that when he falls into darkness he lost feeling, forget everything and etc. So this proves Sora's Heartless took control when Sora falls into darkness. So Sora's Heartless is a real character.

So that means he is a character in KHI like Xehanort's Heartless. I mean we all know that Lingering Sentiment is Terra but with his soul but they are still diffrent. Sora's Heartless had Sora's Heart but covered with darkness. Its the same logic with Lingering Sentiment and Sora's Heartless.

I have a question for you. What is the Wiki's policy on edit warring? The only reason I ask is because DTN delivered me my first warning when the situation was rather pointless. This morning, I removed "Playing as" sections of articles and moved them to Mission Mode, where they were better set. Werehog21 (the other user got warned for the same thing as I) reverted this. To avoid redundancy, I had to undo his edit. He undid it I had to undo it to remove the redundancy I get the warning. I don't see how this is in any way fair, considering it was only a small scale of three edits, and it stopped right after. If you could please enlighten me, and if you can, remove the cruddy warning, then that'd be much appreciated.

DTN's warning was senseless, especially in such a small ordeal. His "I think two reverts on either side is counted as warring" is just nonsense he came up with, the "I think" automatically proving it was just opinion. What should have been done was the reception of a "Be careful!" talk bubble messsage instead. The warning was uncalled for. An example of a true edit war would be what took place on Master Eraqus and Vanitas's pages a while back.

My stance on the issue : COULDN'T SOMEONE HAVE INVESTIGATED BEFOREHAND ? Until and unless we fully know the situation, we can't slap out warnings. Regarding this issue : So it was a seven minute time span between the end of DTN's so-called "war" and the warning reception. Considering it stopped after the explanation, which was given clearly before the warning during which "wars" stopped, I see no purpose for the warning to remain. Whether you've seen DTN's response or not, it was given unjustly and rough patches between DTN and myself clouded his vision in this matter, at least that's my personal opinion. The verdict : The warning should be removed; it was given well after any potential conflict stopped. I really don't want to get on anyone's bad side, and I really don't want an unjust warning scarring my perfect reception, especially when a more peaceful resolve could have been taken. Please either enlighten me for the future as best as possible, or just get rid of the damn thing so I can finally think straight.

Anyways, there is a reason for that warning to stay. A "war" is a war, win or lose, both (or all) sides are wrong for being in it. What I'm trying to say is that you picked a fight here, you got slapped; it's reasonable. This situation could have been handled differently than having your "edit war" (e.g. diplomatically discussing it on yours or Werehog21's talk page) so neither of you would have to deal with a warning on your pages. But it's too late now; you picked your little fight and you end up with that. Besides, it's just a little warning, it's not like it'll do you any harm for real. Just get used to it... I guess. >.>

Lemme get this straight, people. If I were to undo, for example, Cococrash's edits for the same reason, would I end up with a warning ? No. Most probably not. If I were to assign SSC, for example, to pick out a particular person who's relatively new and starting conflict on the page itself, and SSC does the same thing to that user, there's no likelihood of him getting the warning. I believe this whole matter has been blown slightly out of proportion. Consider the two examples I gave and you'll all understand. SSC, have you cared to look at the edit history of Saix's page? Does reverting two, two edits constitute and edit war. I think not. It was a misunderstanding on Werehog's part as to why the "Playing as..." sections were removed, and it ended when he learned why. I was not aware that there was such a large time gap between the last edit and the warnings, and it seems unlikely to me that the issue was going t flare up again. Cliff notes version: the warning wasn't warranted.

Underlying Issues

First, I do want to say I'm not really sure anyone used their best judgment here. Yes, ENX probably should have raised the issue on the Talk Page. Likewise, DTN could have asked ENX or Werehog what was going on or given them a good faith warning, a subject that we've beaten to death in the forums. And I'm not really sure why I have an entire discussion going on here with members who weren't even involved...ahem. But anyway, I would also be naive not to note this also part of an underlying tension between DTN and ENX; up until now, I've been too polite to say anything about it, as have a number of other editors. But I think something needs to be said before it boils over into something ugly and we lose one or both of our outstanding contributors over something silly and petty. ENX and DTN, I've talked to both of you extensively outside of the wiki. You are both intelligent guys who are dedicated to the work you do here and elsewhere. You've both impressed me with your desire to improve things around the wiki, and with your real-life accomplishments. There are some differences in your ages and backgrounds, but ultimately I find the whole tension a bit ironic considering how alike both of you really are in terms of personality ... or perhaps its because of how alike you are. I honestly think both of you need to sit down and talk things out with each other. If you'd like to one day over in IRC, I know I would be willing to mediate if you feel uncomfortable doing so, or if you'd rather have someone else, that would be fine as well. And I don't expect the two of you to become best friends or anything, but just find a mutual area of respect. But what it comes down to is I don't want to lose two great editors, and more importantly, two good online friends, over a silly wiki about a video game. I'm going to head to bed soon, and I'd like to give the two of you a chance to really think things over about what's going on, remembering that there is a real person involved on the other side of that talk bubble. If you guys have any questions or comments, leave them here and I'll look them over when I get back from work.

To Wikians supporting me in this matter, it was appreciated, but this really wasn't the place. To BebopKate herself, I have been discussing stresses with Troisnyxetienne and Xion4ever for some time now about this issue regarding my standard with DTN. I'd love nothing more than for this to cease. It's simply a matter of actually getting it to. DTN and I are both stubborn by nature, it would appear, and we're not exactly "forgiving" of each other. DTN and I should still hold some sort of mediation, yet at the same time we should compromise in this situation : Remove the warning to make me happy, while at the same time, DTN has assurance that I'll be more careful. Simple as that. So long as we both recognize our faults in the end, we can proceed in peace. If both were at fault, there's no reason why one side of the party should suffer.

So sorry to stress an already brought up issue, but it had to be done. I was wondering if you had made a decision on taking off ENX's warning or not. (He's a good friend of mine, and I hate to see him depressed). DTN himself stated that edit-warring is defined as reverting an edit 3 times in the same day. ENX only did so twice, so I believe that's justification enough for taking off that warning. What do you think? EDIT: It has come to my attention that I may have slightly misquoted DTN. For the purpose of clarification, I have copied and pasted his exact words. Sorry for the inconvienience to you, Kate and you, DTN. DTN said: "Also, are you aware of the "Three Revert Rule", derived from our model wiki, Wikipedia?
