Terra, Then Xehanort, Then Ansem

I know people hate theories but I have a strong feeling I've got this right:

Terra was a keyblade master with Ven and Aqua under Master Xehanort. Then for some reason Master Xehanort and his apprentice go missing and Terra, Ven and Aqua set out to find them. During their search, (or possibley after since they apparently found them as seen in the Birth By Sleep secret ending) something happens to Ven and Aqua, and Terra falls to the Darkness and takes the name of his old master, Xehanort. Then Terra/Xehanort somehow finds his way to Ansem the Wise and becomes his apprentice along with Braig, Dilan, Even, and Ienzo. Then through the events of the Ansem Reports, he banishes Ansem the Wise and takes his old master's name once again. Willingly giving up his heart to the darkness, he becomes Ansem(Xehanort's Heartless) and Xemnas(Xehanort's Nobody). The Enigmatic Soldier in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ could be many things, Xemnas in disguise, a ghost or spirit of some sort, or possibley just a sneak peek of what's to come in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. This would also explain why Xemnas calls Aqua's armor and keyblade "friend" because Terra and Aqua where friends (or at least on good terms) in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep...........So, what does everyone think?

Maybe so. I've noticed that Xemnas, who was the optional boss for Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, was the main antagonist for Kingdom Hearts II. If this trend is followed by Tetsuya Nomura, then Terra, who is the optional boss for Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+, could very well be the Xehanort we all come to know and love - um, hate - um, whatever. And, if this theory is followed - that each person has a heart, body and soul (when divided, would form a Heartless, Nobody and Unbirth) - then this may be the Unbirth of Terra (I'm not saying it is). Also, Xehanort had no prior memory of what he was, but it seems he appeared after a great Keyblade War ended.

On another note, the theory may not be true, on three accounts :

- Take a good look at the image of Xehanort in Ansem's Study in Radiant Garden. Yes, their hairstyles are similar, and it is rumoured that Terra's hair turns white while his eyes turn amber towards the end of Birth By Sleep, BUT... Terra has blue eyes while Xehanort has brown eyes.

- Also, in the previous Kingdom Hearts, when we look at the reports written by the fake Ansem, i.e. Xehanort's Heartless, he is rather inquisitive about the Keyblade, saying that it is mysterious, also quoting that some people say it is used for the restoration of the worlds ; others say it was used for destruction, and he doesn't seem to know the nature of the Keyblade. Xehanort's Heartless comes to Destiny Islands in the brown robe at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts to tap Sora's power as the wielder of the Keyblade - had Terra actually been Xehanort, he wouldn't have done that as he knows the power of the Keyblade, he himself is a Keyblade master. (Or could it all be pretence ?) And according to Ansem's Secret Reports, a Nobody would usually take on the form of the soul. If the Terra we fought in Kingdom Hearts II were an Unbirth, methinks he should look like Xemnas - but Terra looks nothing like Xemnas.

- Terra and Ven were friends. If Terra were Xehanort and Xemnas - the same person, he'd have known the true nature of Sora and Roxas, and in both cases, wouldn't seek to eliminate him (Xehanort wanted to kill Sora to extract Kairi's heart and open the final Keyhole ; Xemnas instructed Axel to eliminate Roxas if he didn't rejoin the Organization). After all, Sora, Roxas and Ven are connected. (A possible counter-argument to this is the fact that Ven told Terra, "You're my friend, right ? Erase me." This may have led Xehanort and Xemnas to do the same to Sora and Roxas.) Troisnyxetienne 10:36, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Notice that I didn't dismiss the theory entirely. :) I mean, it's plausible and all also, because the logo he, Aqua and Ven wear resembles that of the Heartless logo, and when turned upside down, it resembles that of the Nobodies. Ansem the Wise found him in Radiant Garden when he had lost his memory - all he knew was a Keyblade War. Well, if worse comes to worst we'd just as well wait for what Nomura has to say...... before (as some people say) we crack our heads on this. My theory is very similar to yours, except for a few things. So here it goes, Terra, Ven, and Aqua find out Master Xehanort and his apprentice leave, so they go out and find him. In an epic showdown, Terra is separated from Aqua after she goes to help Ven, then he finds Master Xehanort and fights him, he beats him and his apprentice, but with his last bit of strength, Xehanort throws him into the realm of Nothingness. Terra, being in the realm of Nothingness, changes his appearance and loses his memories, and can only remember hating Xehanort for throwing him in there. Using some unknown power, he manages to get out of the realm and into Radiant Garden. Ansem finds him, and Terra keeps mumbeling Xehanort, so Ansem gives him that name. That is my theory.

Then after Terra loses his memories and becomes Xehanort and then turns into a Heartless and Nobody, he keeps the goal of his Master and/or possesor. What do you think of that theory?

It's only speculation that Terra is the Lingering Sentiment, hence the information stating that Terra is the Lingering Sentiment should stay off this page until a confirmation. And seeing as that video depicts the Lingering Sentiment, and not Terra, it should also remain off of this page.

Sweet ! And I also notice that they've got this X-shaped thingy on their clothes. Think it represents something ? Oh shoot, take a good look at Terra's hair, and then take a look at Xemnas' hair and Xehanort's hair. Forget the eye colour, the way their hair is parted is coincidentally the same : there's a lot of hair at the centre. And the emblem which Terra, Ven AND Aqua are wearing somewhat resembles the Heartless symbol, albeit with no dark parts and no cross marks. Maybe the theory which I refuted is true after all. If Terra's hair did turn white towards the end of Birth By Sleep, then I guess this Xehanort saga just ain't gonna end. I'm as good as new! All my functions have been restored! • TroisNyxÉtienne

Na, MX's apprentice hasn't got anything obvious to him. He's covered, and shady, and not much is said about him... Okay. So we have two contradicting theories. One is MX's apprentice being Xehanort. The other is Terra being Xehanort. I've already said much of the yes and no points for the second theory in this page. Nomura himself said Xigbar was referring to Terra, Ven and Aqua when he said "You weren't half the hero the others were. Which means while he was Braig, or while he became a Nobody, he fought them off. Darn, could things get any more complicated ?? First of all troisnyxetienne (is that it?) how does "Your not half the hero the others were" indicate that he PARTICIPATED in the fight? Maybe he was an observer? I mean when you see the birth by sleep video with say, a giant pillar no pillars of rock, a a storm of keyblades, (you only use two in superform) people being frozen solid MX wieling a giant keyblade with a battleaxe head in ONE hand; not to mention the "Lingering Sentiment's" Transformations and then look at Sora there is a noticible difference Oh and i know who Xehanort is.

You're getting out of point here. What you see is only one part of Birth By Sleep. For all you know, Braig would've had a confrontation with them long before Master Xehanort unleashed his fury on them. And by the way, that is Ven not Sora ! Remember that Birth By Sleep takes place some ten or more years before the first Kingdom Hearts. Well, if Terra were to be the good guy and Ven and Aqua otherwise, yeah, that'd be unexpected. Sure, in order to have said what he told Sora, he wold have had to either met those three or heard of them. All we currently know about Braig is that he was an apprentice under Ansem the Wise, and this happened while the Xehanort we all know was also Ansem's apprentice. It's possible that Xigbar got the info out of a book somewhere, but if he'd met them, he'd have to be pretty old by now...say...if he did meet them, than is it possible that Braig might be MX's apprentice?

Fate of Terra

At the end of the video, Terra's eyes become like a yellowish gold, similar to the Heartless right? Well I was thinking, since the Heartless didn't exist in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, could that mean that Terra could have became the VERY first Heartless? --SS INFINITY 20:18, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Actually, if you know about darkness, you know that when darkness stains a persons heart, it can turn there skin tan, and there eyes a golden amber color. Your heart becomes stained by using darkness frequently, this stain is not easily removed, and will remain even after someone stops using darkness. I think that Terra's eyes were becoming amber because he was about to use his darkness to defeat Xehanort. Also, there were no heartless in the Realm of Light prior to the experiments done by Xehanort. There was darkness in human hearts, but none to the point of them becoming heartless themselves. This is stated by Nomura, hence why the only enemies in Birth by Sleep are the Unversed. Terra didn't become the first heartless, because heartless always existed in the Realm of Darkness. However, I think that Terra becomes the Xehanort that was Ansems apprentice. This would explain his amber eyes, his tan skin, the same hair style. Also, his hair could have been turned white due to a traumatic experience in the final battle against Master Xehanort. Perhaps his hair turning white could be another effect of a dark stain on the heart? --Ookami zetsumei 4:52, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Just a theory, but considering the parallels between Sora/Roxas/Ven, and Kairi and Aqua's physical resemblance to each other, is it possible that Terra is a reprizentation of Riku? Besides the similar meaning of thier names, Terra has been suspected to "fall into darkness", and so did Riku at the beginning of KH1. And Terra's goals are questionable as are his methods, and so were Riku's initial ideas in KH1. Its a long shot, but maybe. 67.142.161.32 01:20, September 21, 2009 (UTC)

Hey, maybe your right (to the guy who left a theory about Terra being Xehanort, etc.. But you seem to dismiss your own theory because Terra would have known all these things, when it has been confirmed that Ansem the Wise found someone that had LOST THEIR MEMORY, and named him Xehanort as it was the only thing he could remember. This would make a lot of sense if Terra was Xehanort like you said.

I dunno. Just kinda drawin' a comparison here.

Now when i first saw an image of Terra i to thought of Saix but i think thats just me love for Saix seeping in, For one Saix knew Axel and joined the Organisation later. If Terra was Saix chances are he would have joined when Xemnas created it. Eye colour

When terra's eyes change they turn yellow like master xnorts but are different compared to xemnas/xnorts heartless and ansem the wise which has more of a orange glow to them.--74.210.24.180 05:49, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

terra and xemnas

ok so is it possible that xemnas and terra could be linked because of their "friend"? i was just watching a video and it talked about xemnas tlking to aquas armor and called it his friend and how terra was abut to battle MX when he said "I have a friend". so just thought id put it out there.
