According to the Ultimania, in KHFM, it drops prizes when defeated with a combo finish, not when dealing a critical hit. TheSilentHero 10:15, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

Just wanted to follow-up that yes, you're right, Ripple Drive is NOT a crit, given the faint circle that appears around Sora looked like one and the special effects that appear upon connecting one almost looked like a crit as well. Ripple Drive somehow doesn't damage with the Wooden Sword

Turns out solely during the Hollow Bastion portion, Ripple Drive is the only magic attack in Sora's arsenal that can't inflict any damage alongside the rest of the Wooden Sword's attacks. Not sure if that's worth mentioning, but it also makes me wonder if Ripple Drive is flagged differently compared to other magic attacks. --SneaselSawashiro (talk) 07:12, 29 July 2024 (UTC)
