Template talk:TalkTextTest2
Images
Could you please change [[Image:{{{image}}}|50px]]
to [[Image:{{{image}}}|{{#if:{{{size|}}}|{{{size|}}}|50px}}]]?
It would allow those who want to change the size of their avatar's to do so. If the "size" parameter is not used or specified, it would remain the 50px that it is now.Not even Mr. Lister's Koromon survived intact. 22:09, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
I seem to recall that these were set at that size for a reason. Any older wiki folk around to enlighten me? BebopKate 23:43, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
- It's to keep a definite margine, because things with different margins look terrible.

Protection
Can someone unprotect this so someone like me can edit it? I've just changed the FFWiki version with some cool updates (well actually, just shortened coding and rounder edges. but rounder edges is epic) User:ILHI/Sig 17:55, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
Imagesize
Ooh, never noticed the parameter. That's why our talk pages look ridiculous. -_-
Seriously, the talk templates look far better when there's a fixed width. User:ILHI/Sig 20:40, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
- This is true. Alot of them template images make the template stick out. I think the old fixed image design is better. -Azul (talk ・contribs) 21:09, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
I don't
think I get it..

Update
Should we reduce the title of this template to "Template:Talk"? Being that we know it works, we've done countless tweaks to this template, enabling a lot of stuff, it's so hard to call it TalkTextTesskdawinaccaw...
Also, so many tweaks in this template, I think the template needs to be streamlined. Not taking out fun from anyone, no (since that's seems to be the main argument to any proposed changes these days), just thinking that it would be a lot neater if the talk bubbles are uniform in the most basic of things. BLUER一番 08:41, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
- I haven't heard of any objections so far. If there are no objections within the week, we'll have the policies on talk bubbles prepared. BLUER一番 06:56, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

can someone help me with my template
for some reason my name isn't appearing, can someone help?

- I don't have time to look at your code right now, but look through this for help. KeybladeSpyMaster 17:58, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
- Alright, I just fixed it. It turns out, you were using the "top-section" parameter. As it explains in the Template article, "[The top-section] field allows for more customization... If this field is used, the name, nick, namecolor, namefonttype, textcolor, sig and time fields do not have to be used. However, in this field the user must include "{{{time}}}"." So, instead, I moved the quote you wanted to use to the "
sig
" field. So, now it works! KeybladeSpyMaster 22:49, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
