Fantasia (ファンタジア Fantajia?) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It allows the user to unleash a barrage of fireworks to attack enemies. It is a signature of Donald Duck.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts II, Fantasia is an action ability exclusive to Donald. It is a limit that costs 3 AP to equip and all of Sora's MP to use. Occupied by the Reaction Command slot, the first attack of the Limit is Comet (コメット Kometto?), in which Donald casts fireworks to attack enemies, knocking them into the air. This attack can be repeated up to six times. Afterwards, it is replaced with the finishing move Comet Rain (コメットレイン Kometto Rein?), where Donald slams his staff downwards and calls forth a ring of fireworks around Sora, damaging many enemies. From the start, the finishing move is available in the "Limit" slot of the Command Menu, but its activation ends the limit prematurely. While the limit is active, Donald follows Sora around in a bubble of magical energy and Sora can move and attack freely.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Fantasia is a Limit Break. It allows Donald to create many small, colorful explosions, heavily damaging any enemies that get hit. During the Final Limit, larger and more powerful colorful explosions revolve around Donald as he is in midair. The explosions begin at opposite sides of Donald, and will rotate around him if A is continuously pressed.
