In the Jiminy Journal, the Limits are referred to by the abilities that activate them (e.g. "Fantasia" and "Flare Force" instead of "Comet" and "Duck Flare," respectively). In the wiki, the Limits are referred to by either the ability or the initiating command (the command seen in the command menu). Just pointing something out, please correct me if I'm wrong. Well 358-2 Days has a Limit Break system (and apparently an ability called Final Limit gives you a different limit break for two per character) it should all probably in the article.Mechanics, effects, usage etc.

*Cue echo SFX*

I don't think it's really necessary, since they are two completely different systems and mechanics that just happen to share the same name.

We need to start adding info on Days for Limits and Final Limits.

Well, to be honest, I'm not even sure it's a Limit, but in a lot of videos I've watched of KHIIFM+, there's been a move Sora uses alone that is accessed from the list of Limits. It looks like Sora just floats ion the air and does a few combos with swooping down and slashing the target as a finisher. Can anyone tell me what hat is and if it's possible to use a KHII please?

Can you get me some cotton candy? Blue, not PINK !!!!

Keyblade-Blk.png That's Trinity Limit when Sora is alone. He can use his move Break in the Trinity Limit three times instead of using Donald's Ultima and Goofy's Major Dive. There is no finisher since you need all three characters.

"Limit" or "Link"?

I haven't found a page describing the abilities themselves, and I don't have access to my KHIIFM right now, but the "Auto Limit" ability that each ally has is actually "Ooto Renkei", or "Auto Link". Furthermore, the japanese site's description calls the Limits 「れんけい」, or "Link".Glorious CHAOS! 08:29, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Considering we're based more on the English adaptions of the game, I'd leave the article title as-is. We may wish to include this information at some point in the article, however. - EternalNothingnessXIII 09:11, January 14, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, since the English version states Limit, then we should add the Auto Link name by the side of the actual subject, just like what might've been done for things with different names (think Oathkeeper). Agi Idup Agi Ngelaban ! 09:56, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Genie's Limit's

Has anyone not noticed how some of Genies Drive Form Limit's resemble Sora's KH1 Limit's?

Sonic Rave: Sonic Blade?'

Arcana: Ragnerok?

Revamp

Obviously, all limit descriptions doesn't belong on this page. Once they are split to their respective articles, can we turn the page into a list using a table like this? It's not very attractive; thoughts on what more to add and how to improve it. I really like listing the attack flow, it's something we do not cover in as clear, blatant manner anywhere else. TheFifteenthMember 19:25, 3 May 2015 (UTC)

Guys, thoughts? TheFifteenthMember 16:48, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
I would move the obtainment to the obtainment column, instead of references. (I know that's how other tables do it, but it annoys me.) Other than that, it looks great. TheSilentHero 16:53, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
This one won't have a huge cluster of references because it's only Sora, Donald, Goofy and Tron who get limits at certain times, so it should be okay. I'll build the rest now. TheFifteenthMember 16:59, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
And Mulan.
EDIT: It's not that the references get clustered, I think the obtainment should be in the column Obtainment, since that's what it's for. TheSilentHero 17:00, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
You can change it by all means, if you like. Also, is it worth adding an AP column even though all Limits cost the same 3 AP? TheFifteenthMember 19:05, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
I think a note in the lead will do. TheSilentHero 19:13, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Strike Judgement

This is renamed Strike Raid in KH2HD. Do we merge it in or? TheFifteenthMember 18:54, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Merge with Strike Raid, yeah."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 05:49, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Would it be under "other appearances"? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 21:19, 12 May 2015 (UTC)

I don't believe so. Isn't "Strike Raid" just the name of the Limit?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 02:11, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

Oh, crap, that's true. Okay, I guess it gets a separate paragraph in Mechanics. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 03:43, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

Genie's limits

These are confusing me a lot a lot, I need help with them guys. In no particular order:

  • Where do we place them in the mechanics section? Before, during or after the break for Limit Form's gif?
  • In the learning section, do we have two sections for KH2 and KH2FM or just a "KH2FM" tag like I did here?
  • Genie's Master Form limit is called "Final Arcana" in English (which is a Final Form attack and also a Limit Form attack in original KH2FM) but "Last Arcanum" in Japanese (which is a Limit Form attack equivalent to Ars Arcanum in 2.5). Which page does it belong to?
  • At this point, I'm thinking that all of Genie's limits should be separated to their own pages. While they share the same names, their mechanics are wildly different to the point where they aren't even the same attacks.

Thoughts? TheFifteenthMember 20:12, 9 June 2015 (UTC)

Final Arcana is an alternate name of Last Arcanum, so it should be on the Ars Arcanum page, as should Limit Form's technique. We sort technique's by Japanese name unless they are clearly disparate abilities.
Before Limit Form. Two sections."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:51, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
Maybe you can make a page called "Master Genie" and cover both Genie's Master Form and Final Arcana. TheSilentHero 06:46, 10 June 2015 (UTC)

I'm against making pages for each of Genie's form, since the only things that differ between them is appearance and limit. It's not like Genie's entire attack arsenal changes. Also, we've already established that every ability needs its own article so it'd go back to the old problem of redirecting abilities onto character pages. That said, it may be useful to have a Form:Genie page to handle the appearance side of things. TheFifteenthMember 21:34, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Genie's limits are transparently his versions of Sora's Limit commands from KH1. If they have different names in Japanese, they should get their own pages as we do with everything else, but if they share names there's not really a good reason for separating them.
I've whipped up the correct format on the Sonic Blade page."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 22:32, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Summon limits

How does the summon gauge cost work? Looking at these videos, every limit costs 2 summon gauge bars apart from Genie's first three forms which cost 1. However, I checked the game and each limit costs a different amount of bars to use (see hidden text for numbers). I'm suspecting that this is a difference between original KH2FM and 2.5. Any way of checking for sure? Also, what was in the original KH2? TheFifteenthMember 21:34, 11 June 2015 (UTC)

Any word on this? TheFifteenthMember 21:47, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
