Dark Barrier (ダークバリア Dāku Baria?) is an technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to block attacks from any direction.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Dark Barrier is a defense command exclusive to Riku that can equipped in the place of a Block-type command, which can overlap with a Dodge Roll-type command. It generates a spherical barrier around the user when the player presses Y. It may be used in midair, causing Riku to briefly hover while the barrier is active, and overlapping with Air Slide. Dark Barrier grants +3 to Defense and +30 to Dark Resistance when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.
