The move over was a bit bumpy, so we're scrambling to patch up all of the leaks in our data (as you can see from our RC), and fix the interface (there are a huge number of bugs to work out). Once we our running normally, we will start reaching out towards other wikis.

I would have started up SCIWA myself, but my computer won't let me run any internet sites, so I need helpers to help run the site. So far, I don't see any independent wiki (other than this one and StrategyWiki) that would meet the standards to join. I would have created a wiki for the Ratchet & Clank series to help promote the site, but again, my computer won't let me.

In addition, each posting contains a link back to the proposal you are writing. Anyway, on to my personal opinion: I think it is a little rough around the edges, but can be pulled off with enough dedicated people and at least 3 supporting wiki's. An Independent Wiki Alliance doesn't exist without wiki's supporting it.

I want to form an independent Ratchet Wiki to help with the launch. We should have at least 3 independent wikis for any of these franchices; so far, I cannot find any wiki of these franchices that's independent. My ideals are just a draft. Anyone can contribute to them, and I will follow any ideas from NIWA and SEIWA. SCIWA's to be a community group, as well. Any ideas? ;)

I am currently trying to see if I can build a list of people who are willing and able to host wiki's. If I can get that together, then I can ask them if they would be willing to host a SCE wiki, and if so, I can put them in contact with you. IF ALL OF THAT is successful, then one needs to start finding users who would help start up the wiki. (And by this, I mean, people interested in the franchise and/or people I know who like helping start up wikis).

Shared web-hosts, Virtual Private Servers, etc. Also, I answered your question with my plan earlier. The list is going to feature people who are willing and able to host wikis. But I will elaborate on it down bellow: So, lets say a person wants to start a wiki, but can't host it. They can look on the list, and choose someone from it and contact them, requesting hosting. Then, if the host approves of the request, a wiki is set up and started to get worked on. After some time, When the editors think the wiki is ready, they submit their candidacy for SCIWA. So... it is kind of like what Sove is doing... offering to host Ratchetpedia. And if he can't, and you can't, then the list is avalbile for you as a place to see possible people to host the wiki. (And potentially, SCIWA in general).
