Jafar has ordered Genie to attack the party as part of his second wish. As Genie is very loyal to Aladdin, he will fight with great reluctance. Sometimes, Genie will drop orbs to help his friends out.

Jafar used his final wish to become an all-powerful genie, which resulted in him becoming, well, this. He can only be harmed if his lamp is attacked, which is in the hands of Iago. Watch out for the molten rocks that Jafar might throw every now and then.
