Tabber is not working; probably needs to be reinstalled.Interwiki-linking not working; the extension that does it (can't remember off the top of my head) needs to be synced to the wikia's.- Cache needs to be cleared before any changes are seen. ~Lilienne♫^^ 23:47, 9 February 2011 (EST)
- This is by design; we cache more than Wikia does. --Porplemontage 14:50, 18 February 2011 (EST)
Tabber for normal characters table needs to be fixed. For example: Seven Dwarfs and Chip and Dale.The17master 03:19, 12 February 2011 (EST)There needs to be a "Move" tab on top of articles.KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 18:58, 13 February 2011 (EST)- Oh Gawd, never mind. It was just a new page. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 19:54, 13 February 2011 (EST)
- Some videos, like in the Days walkthroughs, don't work. I guess...I just felt like not using my talk bubble. 18:50, 14 February 2011 (EST)
- Link to page? --Porplemontage
- No the links are exactly the same as the old wiki. It's just that the videos don't appear. For example: Mission 62. I guess...I just felt like not using my talk bubble. 14:35, 19 February 2011 (EST)
- Things like this: {{game|KHC}} are in the way of the tables from weapon articles and some texts. --Sac said you should join the darkness! 10:20, 21 February 2011 (EST)
Userspace
- Polls do not work (look here to see what I mean). - LevL 15:30, 9 February 2011 (EST)
- The only poll extension we have is external embeds from PollDaddy; the other options are no good for us. --Porplemontage 14:53, 18 February 2011 (EST)
Userboxes do not have the [show] and [hide] options. User:Lilienne for what it looks like now and [1] for what it looked like on Wikia.~Lilienne♫^^ 23:47, 9 February 2011 (EST)- Some templates that would show something random don't seem to work. My Haiku, for example, only shows the short haiku for Roxas. - UxieLover1994 09:43, 10 February 2011 (EST)
- This is due to caching; it will change every once and a while but not on every refresh. --Porplemontage 14:53, 18 February 2011 (EST)
Images
- Uploading new versions of an image does not work."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 11:53, 16 February 2011 (EST)
- some of the latest revisions are months old, e.g. File:MysteriousFigure.png;
- some images are missing altogether like File:KH-Donald-Atlantica.jpg or Dive to the Heart, who misses all it's station pictures --ShardofTruth 16:19, 9 February 2011 (EST)
Birth by Sleep trophy images were not brought over. maggosh 16:19, 9 February 2011 (EST)the problem with some missing images seems to be that they weren't moved to their new name. --ShardofTruth11:42, 10 February 2011 (EST)
Pretty sure Ventus had a lot more images in his article. --Ag (Silver) - 47 107.8682 amu ~Crono 16:31, 9 February 2011 (EST)it seems that a good portion of all images (all from 7 November) aren't categorizied anymore, making it much more complicate to check for their current version- All categorized images from the original wiki are categorized here too now (even better in some cases I think), hopefully there isn't an image missing in are article now. The rest is in here Special:UncategorizedFiles --ShardofTruth 21:06, 17 February 2011 (EST)
- The uploader has issues with images with symbols in the name."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:46, 10 February 2011 (EST)
- "Upload a new version of this file" option is sometimes available, and sometimes not. The17master 11:13, 11 February 2011 (EST)
- When trying to add a liscensing section to a previously uploaded file, it doesn't appear on the page. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 10:50, 12 February 2011 (EST)
- Also, many images say "No file by this name exists, but you can upload it.", even though the liscensing and categorization are still on the page. When this occurs, the sitenotice reverts to the way it was before the move (saying things like "registered users may use Monobook to view the site"). KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 10:56, 12 February 2011 (EST)
- Not really a glitch, but a problem. When a jpg is set as a thumb, the artifacting increases in the image tenfold. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 17:45, 18 February 2011 (EST)
Wikispace
Recent Changes doesn't have Auto-Refresh. --Ag (Silver) - 47 107.8682 amu ~Crono 16:32, 9 February 2011 (EST)Not sure if this is the synching or not, but the Featured Article is about 3 months behind. --Ag (Silver) - 47 107.8682 amu ~Crono 17:01, 9 February 2011 (EST)Not just the FA, but the entire Main Page is behind. Chitalian8 21:25, 9 February 2011 (EST)- Forums aren't updating with recent changes. AS IF! 18:28, 9 February 2011 (EST)
The "World That Never Was" forum image still links back to the wikia wiki. AS IF! 21:40, 9 February 2011 (EST)
Sitenotice needs to be updated.- Also, in Monobook (I'm using Vector right now), the tiled background appears to be using the image that Sannse had originally used for the Oasis background, as the Unversed emblems are partially messed up. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 19:57, 9 February 2011 (EST)
- Thirdly, the forums are... well, it's obvious that you can create and edit a forum, as they appear under the RC, but the actual forums themselves do not house new threads. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 20:29, 9 February 2011 (EST)
- Multipleupload needs to be linked from the sidebar.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 22:58, 9 February 2011 (EST)
- Any admin/bureaucrat can edit MediaWiki:Sidebar. It's easy to do.Axiomist 12:17, 16 February 2011 (EST)
- I linked to it from Special:Upload. I didn't like having two file upload links on the sidebar. --Porplemontage 13:02, 16 February 2011 (EST)
- On an additional note, the Multiple Upload version we have only allows for one file description - we would like the version that allows a separate description for each file. If you need us to find the code, we will look for it."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:36, 16 February 2011 (EST)
- Moving a page needs to have the "prevent a redirect" option.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 09:35, 10 February 2011 (EST)
Can we get the special character input box to appear when editing pages? The one with the m-dashes and automatically inserted markup tags.--Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 13:50, 10 February 2011 (EST)- Another thing that can be done by any admin/bureaucrat. If you've ever tried to edit on WiKirby, you would see such a box, just create the page MediaWiki:Edittools. like this one at WiKirby Axiomist 12:17, 16 February 2011 (EST)
- Can we get the feature that provides suggestions when you're inserting a link into a page? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 13:50, 10 February 2011 (EST)
- IRC page is completely surrounding Wikia. Do we even have our own channel? KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 16:02, 10 February 2011 (EST)
- Yes, we do. DTN has the details."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 22:07, 10 February 2011 (EST)
Not exactly a bug but don't know where to put this; KHWiki:Copyrights needs to be updated to not mention Wikia. -- Some Color Mage ~ (Talk) 18:49, 10 February 2011 (EST)- The sitenotice leaves behind horizontal bars on every page when dismissed."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 22:07, 10 February 2011 (EST)
- When clicking the "Next" button on the lower right side of the forum page, it takes you to the top of the current page. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 14:43, 12 February 2011 (EST)
User rights
- I have been given temporary bureaucrat status, but I cannot modify a user's rights until they sign in here for the first time.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 17:10, 9 February 2011 (EST)
- Also, we're going to need to start new staff elections soon, since one of our bureaucrat's has decided to stay at wikia (as I understand it), and the other is inactive.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 17:10, 9 February 2011 (EST)
Other
- Timestamps now say (EST) instead of (UTC)... --Ag (Silver) - 47 107.8682 amu ~Crono 21:30, 9 February 2011 (EST)
- SEARCH BAR HAS ISSUES: For example, it suggests "Oathkeeper & Oblivion", "Oathkeeper and Oblivion", "Oathkeeper/Oblivion", "Oathkeeper\Oblivion", "Oathkeeper / Oblivion" and "Oathkeeper \ Oblivion" as articles, but not "Stat Matrix". --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 05:04, 10 February 2011 (EST)
The edit command on the template space seems to link back to Wikia rather than this one (see Kingdom Hearts Wiki:Userboxes).TamboursTonnerre Ensemble ! 06:11, 10 February 2011 (EST)On the "interaction" box on the left hand side of the screen, the "Trinity Report" should be changed to "Trinity Archives".Chitalian8 18:34, 10 February 2011 (EST)- Any admin/bureaucrat can edit MediaWiki:Sidebar to change this. Axiomist 12:17, 16 February 2011 (EST)
- Special:Top does not exist. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 19:18, 10 February 2011 (EST)
- Recent Changes sometimes do not AJAX update properly (Monobook). This error provided: "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'nextSibling' of null (index.php:855)". This is caused by the line, "document.getElementById('userData').insertBefore(wlObj, document.getElementById('header_mytalk').nextSibling);", which is because there is no "header_mytalk" identifier on Monobook. Can be circumvented by checking if the ID is valid first. Soxxeh 4:04am, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
Sound / .ogg files don't exist any more, e.g: File:This is Halloween -KH1-.ogg. Dan - Don't Blink! ♫ 09:56, 12 February 2011 (EST)- Whenever I open an image in a new tab, I am spontaniously logged out. BUT, if I then go to a non image page, I have been logged back in. Also, when I edit, the page is randomly refreshed. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 15:43, 12 February 2011 (EST)
- Doesn't happen to me. What skin are you using? --Ag (Silver) - 47 107.8682 amu ~Crono 17:35, 12 February 2011 (EST)
- I'm using Vector. I actually only realized that I was logged out because the new tab was in Monobook. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON. 22:03, 12 February 2011 (EST)
- I can't view more than one page of forums."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:56, 15 February 2011 (EST)
- I don't know what's up with this page, but the font is smaller and the boxes on the left side of the screen are all the way at the bottom. RoxasNobody
- For some reason, having three or more bulleted userboxes on a page causes that bug to occur, and at that point, the coding error is too deep for me to know how to deal with. Until someone can fix it, just use some other way to organize the boxes."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 10:05, 18 February 2011 (EST)
