Just wondering, how exactly were the participants chosen?(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 14:30, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
- I've been pinging IRC admins recently to revise the list, and we've been cycling participants in and out until we found a list we could all agree with. Once I get a final draft to you and another admin, I'll post it, so that any other necessary changes can be made accordingly. --DTN 22:54, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
Really?
I'm trying not to sound like an ass here, but is this just another attempt by DTN to prove the MA to be pointless? Are you trying to draw attention away from the MA and the upcoming Joint Struggle? 24.123.83.62 16:10, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
I don't think Mirage Arena is pointless. It's made for fun, so just enjoy it. 17master 16:13, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
1) Who are you? 2) How does this make the Mirage Arena pointless? It's only going to last for a couple of months, then its over. If anything, the Mirage Arena makes this pointless, but either way the're just fun contests.LapisLazuliScarab16:19, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
Dammit, this makes it look like I did, doesn't it. And, to make me look even guiltier, I kinda have to agree with the anon. Isn't DTN always saying that we are to preoccupied with community events? Oh, and are there even 128 characters to choose from? Are we going to have to use some Heartless? KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON.
- I helped planned last year's year-end celebratory event, so I went ahead and took charge on this one. This is also not at all geared toward shaming the Mirage Arena, because (1) the Mirage Arena has fixed its initial issues I had with it, and I now actively participate in it, and (2) well, this is just a comment, but that's one heck of an over-generalization. And yes, there are 128 characters to choose from. More in fact, we had a good field of up to 170-200 to select from, not including Heartless. --DTN 22:54, October 11, 2010 (UTC)

@Wh!te$tar: Your editcount doesn't matter for this event, only for the Mirage Arena. That's because The Keyblade War is a relatively short end-of-the-year blowout, and the Mirage Arena is meant to last much longer. The Arena needs an minimum number of edits because otherwise people would start registering just to participate in it and distract from the mainspace (which has already happened and its not something we want).

Bracket Contest
Is anyone planning on running a March-Madness like bracket prediction contest? User:Xalxe
Where do we vote?
umm seriously, where do we put our votes?!!!!

Where,oh where...
What to press to vote for Aqua?
HOW DO WE VOTE!?!
seriously, people, I have NO idea how to vote and I want to get my votes in for the first two brackets before they close!!! SOMEONE HELP!!!
1) Sign your posts with four tildes (like this ~~~~). 2) Just edit the section of each match that says "Votes for Blah Blah". For example, if you want to vote for Phil, click to edit the section that says "Votes for Phil". When you're in the edit window, just add your vote to the bottom of the section.LapisLazuliScarab01:40, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
Huh? Is voting time for the two first KHI matchups already over? Cuz I can't edit a vote in...it says the page is locked...? Sephiroth0812 15:13, October 22, 2010 (UTC)
Bad Matchups
I pretty sure that some people noticed that there are bad matchups against other characters. Come on, everyone knows that the 'Queen of Hearts VS. Sora' battle, Sora's going to win. Couldn't the people who created this have picked better Matchups that aren't one-sided? Are they trying to make certain characters lose? Keyblade0
- That's the point. Predictable matches are predictable. maggosh 21:32, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
- To be fair, a randomizer was used to select all the sets. --DTN 23:30, October 20, 2010 (UTC)
Champion bracket
At the end of the tournament, is there going to be a championship bracket? Because there is going to be 16 champions, which is enough to make a bracket. SeanWheeler 22:14, October 22, 2010 (UTC)

It is Friday so shouldn't we move on to the mixed brackets? This is the third week, so the KH1 brackets should close and make way for the Mixed brackets. SeanWheeler 13:32, October 29, 2010 (UTC)
We'll just have to wait for the admins to open the next two brackets The17master
Pongo & Perdita VS Ansem the Wise
I think we need to change that fight. I don't know how to format two different pictures in the same half of the box. EDIT: I made that harder than it needed to be, but it's fixed now.LapisLazuliScarab00:31, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Wuh-Oh, I also just noticed that in the KHI Bracket A, Tidus and Clayton tied. What do we do about that?LapisLazuliScarab00:40, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, and someone will need to take care of the little story excerpt at the top of the Brackets. I've got nothing for those.LapisLazuliScarab01:56, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
- I'll add those story bits, and probably fiddle with the colors and image size parameters too. Thanks bunches, Lapis. --DTN 05:22, October 30, 2010 (UTC)
- In the match between Tidus and Clayton, we really messed up because Tidus had one vote more than Clayton but Clayton moved up. That mistake is even harder to fix because round 2 is here and people are already voting for Clayton. SeanWheeler 00:17, November 13, 2010 (UTC)
- Aw, man! I wanted Tidus to win. Bring me the head of the one responsible! ;) [[ Soxra ]] 04:35, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
They were tied. I would assume the winner was selected with a randomizer.LapisLazuliScarab05:42, November 19, 2010 (UTC)

Okay, can we give out warnings for users opening the brackets early like a certain Mr. Wheeler did on the grounds that "they seem open", whatever that's supposed to mean. Immediately after he did this, several users began voting (particularly Laurxafinal, who was flat-out ignoring messages on her talk page to stop, something I ordinarily would have already given her a warning for). I repeatedly, repeatedly told the users who were voting to stop in edit summaries, but they're either not seeing them or just ignoring them. This is supposed to be fun and I really don't want to have to punish people over this, but you have no idea how much this pissed me off. It was a blatant disregard of simple rules and honestly really bratty impatience on SeanWheeler's part. I've given up trying to remove the votes since it's gotten to around five users just ignoring me, but if this happens again I want to know if I can give out warnings. Ugh...

Ok then, DTN, does that mean I can start casting votes on these Brackets now or will they be restarted? I've had a longer conversation with LapisScarab since I didn't know that they were opened prematurely, but then refrained from voting any further since the situation is unclear.
