They're making it possible for people without a PS2 or PS3 to enjoy at least part of the series. That's actually pretty generous of them, instead of sticking to the sweetheart deal they could have whipped up with Sony.Glorious CHAOS! 21:42, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Like that stupid deal that took FF away from Nintendo... (bends convenient object) --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 21:56, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
@Kryten : Yes, I know what you mean, but, come on, we have one for the DS, and now the 3DS? That is just sick (at least the graphics will be better than Days...) KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON.
i'm just as mad it's not fair to people who don't have the console Khruler 01:03, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are really the only games that were 100% planned out by the team and that's why they are on PS2. Nintendo came to Square and asked for a KH game, that's where Chain of Memories came from and it's the same story for Days on the DS. Sony asked for a PSP game (Birth by Sleep) and it's probably the same for Doccomo and coded. Nomura said in a recent interview that after hearing about the 3DS, he was really anxious to get a KH game on the system and threw some materials together for a Demo. I'm not saying that Square didn't want to makes these games, but if the different publishers had not asked to begin with, we probably would have seen the materials featured in these games somewhere else.--XYZ. 01:18, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
well this sucks they (i mean other companies) should keep their mouths shut! Khruler 01:26, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
It just means that the franchise is doing well.--XYZ. 01:29, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Hey, I never had a PS2. I was freakin' lucky to have a chance to play KH and KH2, and I ended up not finishing KH2 because I moved out of the apartment. So it's not like they were including everyone and now they're suddenly depriving people of their games. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 02:31, June 20, 2010 (UTC)

The 3DS is backwards compatible. you can just sell your ds and play the games on it. Optimal gaming setup: Backards compatible Ps3: Kingdom hearts,2 and Re:com (though an hd compilation would be cool)
Psp: Birth by Sleep (though between metal gear, monster hunter, parasite eve and final fantasy, if you buy a psp just for birth by sleep you're doing it wrong.)
Nintendo 3ds: 358/2 days, Re:coded and kingdom hearts 3d (again like the psp, the 3ds and it's software seem to just be made of win.)
So there you go. 3 consoles for all present and future games in the series.beat that.65.184.80.86 23:54, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

Backwards compatibility for the 3DS has been confirmed, so yeah, you'll be able to play all three of the above games.--WheelyRampage 08:44, July 12, 2010 (UTC)
- I ain't sellin' my DS unless the 3DS can play GBA. 'nuff said.Glorious CHAOS! 09:34, July 12, 2010 (UTC)
I don't have the money to keep buying the new systems and I'm sure most KH fans in America have the same issue. Square should pick one or two systems and stick with them.--Memorized
It doesn't really bother me, because I'm one of those lucky people, who have the 3 consoles that will play all of the current games ( except Re:CoM, because I'm in a PAL region, all given to me as gifts. I guess they're trying to spread it around, or experiment with Kingdom Hearts on different consoles. Who knows? --WheelyRampage 01:33, July 13, 2010 (UTC)
