Etymology

From Wikipedia, it seems that Phil's name refers to the Greek prince of the same name, probably taken for the easy name joke:

"In Greek mythology, Philoctetes (also Philoktêtês or Philocthetes, Φιλοκτήτης) was the son of King Poeas of Meliboea in Thessaly. He was a Greek hero, famed as an archer, and was a participant in the Trojan War."

As for his appearance and role, he seems to be based off of Chiron, a centaur whose duty it was to train the heroes. Infact, in the movie, Phil even claims that he taught some of Chiron's students. I want to putthis here first though, given that it's not technically confirmed and I know how some editors react to any amout of speculation. Should this be in the article? You're terrified, aren't you?

Yes, but file it under "Origin".
