Update

The template needs to be updated so that it can cover not just unreleased games, but every other element in the series. Since the wiki works to get facts right, this template is really appropriate. It may be tweaked so that the specific request can be added into the template coding. I'll work on it if there're no reasonable objections aside from "you're taking away fun from the wiki!"

And this is actually done to make the "Fact" and "Fix" templates redundant and obsolete. Inline templates only work if someone actually sifts through the text, unlike a template that stares to the viewers in the face. BLUER一番 09:48, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

I, for one, think this template is unnecessary and that we should stick with Fact and Fix. maggosh 12:58, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

Which would you prefer; an inline template that clearly marks out what statement needs a citation, or a larger template at the top of the page that doesn't even mention what references need citing? And don't think adding code to display that will help, because it won't. Not to mention, we already have the Unreleased template. maggosh 13:12, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

And you've seen this happen where?
We already have the Unreleased template.
That's the whole point. This is to be updated to include all elements that needed citation, including released titles. BLUER一番 13:15, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
I don't see how this would make the Fact template obsolete. It is infinitely more useful (I HAVE seen people add cites, often), and is the standard across wikia. If you're trying to create a general template, we already have the one I designed in the forums.Glorious CHAOS! 18:21, August 28, 2010 (UTC)
