The name of this page should be changed to the Crossroads: CrssRds.png

No, it should stay Sunset Horizons, as that is it's official name. Those pictures aren't, to anyone's knowledge, the same spot, those two locations look the same to symbolize the paths the characters can take, the path of Light, the path of Darkness, the path of In Between, and (most likely) the path of Nothingness. Xnaminex 20:14, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

No it isn't. 'Sunset Horrizons' is the name of the song that is playing in the background and it is the last track of the KHII OST. The name of this location has yet be revealed, unless it has been stated in an interview?

Symbol Character - Mickey.png
FA icon.png As far as I know, Sunset Horizons refers to the soundtrack played in the clip entitled "The Gathering". There's a world which is currently known as Sunset Horizons, but that refers to the place where The Lingering Sentiment (perhaps Terra) fought Sora. That rocky, barren area.

Methinks it should be changed to The Crossroads. And for all you know, the same crossroads might have been used by Sora, Terra, Aqua and Ven.

Untitled-1.png I think that this is the same Sunset Horizons as where Terra confronted MX and fought the Apprentice. As we've seen in Birth By Sleep (video), MX can alter the terrain... or perhaps this is just another place in that "world".

I think it's a hidden part of Twilight Town. Veroso 17:55, 10 March, 2009

This is NOT The Correct Name

Subsequent hacking and room mods in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix via Action Replay have shown that this area/world is called "The Gathering Place." Whether this is the official/final name is not known, but this ought to be changed to be represented as closely as possible, instead of using baseless, and groundless speculative "fan"-names."

Here is the video as proof: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKWfWTdyOQk

Keyblade-Blk.png Sunset Horizons isn't a baseless name, it's the name of the music played in the area.

Dude; "Sacred Moon" is the music that plays in WTNW, yet, is that the name of the world?

Keyblade-Blk.png I'm not saying that Sunset Horizons is the name of the world, all I'm saying is that the name isn't based off of nothing.

Sorry if I sounded condescending; I just recalled seeing a whiiiiile ago, and was surprised the info wasn't up-to-date.

So is the Keyblade Graveyard an actual world or just an area, because the actual graveyard part is only in one part, I think? Other than that I think it's all a baron wasteland. I'm confused.

A forgotten World?

Untitled-1.png I was just watching the Deep Dive video, and I noticed something. in on of the texts that appear as the video progresses, the text reads:

A world between = A forgotten world
The gathering

I think that this message is regarding this world (the Gathering Place), sounds likely, ya? so, I think that this suggest that this world is a forgotten world (possibly due to some memory-loss thing, like happened to Xehanort) in the Realm of In Between...

what do you guys think?

Keyblade-Blk.png Nice catch! But, it might just mean The World That Never Was, which was the gathering place of Organization XIII. Still, though, I can see how your interpretation could also be correct.

i think the the gathering place means twtnw too Ghostboy3000 20:17, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

It may be part of Land of Departure

i mean after if gets all dead and stuff it could be possiable--joekeybladeaura 07:38, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

Trivia

The K, second E, G and second D in the world logo are stylized after Terra, Ventus, Aqua and Sora's Keyblades, respectively.

Ventus's homeworld

Isn't Ventus's homeworld Keyblade Graveyard? I mean his awakeing's back ground is the Keyblade Graveyard. Beside Ventus just met Terra, and Aqua after Master Xehanort created Vanitas. So Land of Departure isn't Ventus's homeworld but the Keyblade Graveyard. I mean look at Ventus's Awakening it even shows the grave yard. --Cococrash11 06:14, January 24, 2010 (UTC)Cococrash11

Why does it being in his stained glass make it his homeworld? Something significant happened to him there is all. And you can easily live anywhere and not meet two people...—Urutapu 18:50, January 24, 2010 (UTC)

Both Sora, Princess of Hearts, and Destiny Island's hearts had the scenary of the homeworld how do you explained that? --Cococrash11 01:54, March 31, 2010 (UTC)Cococrash11

That's not their Awakenings, it's Sora's.Glorious CHAOS! 18:11, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

Are you sure? it could be the pricesses's, after all Sora is connected to all hearts he could go to others awakening if they are the hearts of people--Xabryn 20:20, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

...yes, it's his awakening, because he's the one diving to the heart. Roxas has his own Awakening, even if the pillar's depict Sora. The pillars may depict the hearts connected to the waker (even those of worlds), but it's still the waker's Awakening.Glorious CHAOS! 07:57, April 5, 2010 (UTC)

Do we have a world image for the Graveyard? All I see are pictures of the logo.
Well, we pulled the other planet-ish images from the Birth by Sleep website, but the Keyblade Graveyard isn't there. Seeing as the logo seems to have been ripped from the game without problems, I'm hoping we can get the world image too...—Urutapu 21:41, February 9, 2010 (UTC)

Story

Moved from page. This needs to be integrated with Terra's story so that it is in chronological order. We didn't divide the story into "x's story" for any other game, and doing so only makes the chronology more confusing.Glorious CHAOS! 06:49, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Ventus meets up with Terra and Aqua at the Keyblade Graveyard, helping them to battle Master Xehanort and Vanitas. Frozen and dropped from a cliff by Xehanort, Aqua came to his aid before being forced to battle Braig. After Vanitas ambushed her, Aqua's great anger towards the enigma allowed him to stand and face him.

Vanitas then stated his body was fading, which would allow him to merge with Ventus. He summoned several Unversed to hold Ventus down, stating that the creatures were the negative emotions created when he and Ventus were separated. He then explained that by spreading them throughout the worlds, he hoped he'd lead Ventus and his friends on a little journey, and everything went according to plan, Vanitas viewing the trio's increased strength as a bonus. He then proceeded to fuse with Ventus, transporting him to the Awakening.

Vanitas appeared before Ventus, stating their fusion had been incomplete, hence only an incomplete version of the X-Blade had been created. When Ventus challenged him, Vanitas told him that tne destruction of the X-Blade would also destroy Ventus's heart, as he was a part of it. Ventus then exclaimed he didn't care, and that he had friends to protect. He then had his final battle with Vanitas, both he and the X-Blade fading out of existence along with him.

Aqua meets up with Terra and Ventus in the Keyblade Graveyard, and participates in the battle against Master Xehanort and Vanitas. Aiding a frozen Ventus, she is interrupted by Braig, who wishes to stall her long enough that she is prevented from helping Terra as he fights Master Xehanort. Braig is defeated, fleeing. As Aqua heads back to Ventus's side, she is attacked by Vanitas from above.

Eventually rescued by King Mickey, Aqua awoke desperately calling out for Ventus. Seeing the boy thawed out and standing in a far corner, she ran to his side and attempted to converse with him. Ventus didn't respond, striking out at her with the completed X-Blade. King Mickey comes to her aid, siding with her as Ventus becomes possessed by Vanitas and battles her. Under Vanitas's influence, Ventus battles Aqua. When Ventus falls, Aqua does all in her power to destroy the X-Blade.

Keyblade-Blk.png

I was trying to discuss this on the IRC Channel, but the other end of the conversation left abruptly. Not all of the characters listed in the "Characters" section belong there. In truth, the only character that we know premanently resides in the Keyblade Graveyard is the Lingering Sentiment. Vanitas and Xehanort were created here, though neither of them permanently reside in the world. Vanitas roams around the worlds to impact the story and further Master Xehanort's plans, and Xehanort hardly is in the Keyblade Graveyard at all. However, if "home world" is defined as the world a character is born in, this is where they should be placed. However, it simply doesn't seem appropriate to leave the "Characters" section with just Vanitas, Xehanort, and the Lingering Sentiment, or just the Lingering Sentiment alone.

TALK -
I really don't think we can put any character who has visited in the character's section - I mean, the whole thing people are looking for when they read it is "So who am I going to meet here?"

That's the reasoning behind removing "Sora, Donald, Goofy!" from every world's character page, and I think it applies here as well.

It would probably be a good idea, though, (and I think it's already in place for some characters) to relax the criterion from "birthplace" to "living places" - so, Xehanort would appear on both Keyblade Graveyard and Radiant Garden, and Kairi would appear on Radiant Garden and Destiny Islands. The journals certainly claim that she's from Destiny Islands, so it's not contradictory to the games, either.

If we do that, though, do we want to include characters who are "most definitely not from here, but they're waiting here on a mission" like Merlin, the Fairy Godmothers, and the Fairy Godmother? (:P) For example, the Mysterious Tower IS Yen Sid's place. It's all about him. But for a short while, the Fairy Godmothers reside there in order to help out. (Where did they go?)

Keyblade-Blk.png In the case of characters like Flora, Fauna, and Merrywheather, I would identify them as a characters on their home world Enchanted Dominion and Mysterious Tower, since they appear in each one in for the duration of at least one full game. They may have been there longer than just during Kingdom Hearts II, but we cannot assume that they randomly popped in just a short amount of time before Sora did at Yen Sid's Tower.

What I am saying is if a charactter has a full-game residence in a world, than they should be classified as a character there.
