- Setzer's appearance in Kingdom Hearts is criticised by Final Fantasy fans, as he is portrayed as an arrogant ladies man. He was similar in the original game, to some extent, but his character has been quite exaggerated.
- Setzer is technically the "earliest" Final Fantasy character used in the Kingdom Hearts series, hailing from Final Fantasy VI.
- Setzer can only have an entry on Jiminy's Journal after Sora defeats him in a Struggle match.
Battle Quotes
