Mountain Coaster (マウンテンコースター Maunten Kōsutā ) is an Attraction that appears in Kingdom Hearts III. It allows the user to board a steam locomotive and bombard the enemy with fireworks.
Development[edit]
In early Kingdom Hearts III trailers, Mountain Coaster is named Big Magic Mountain.[1]
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts III, Mountain Coaster can appear as an Attraction Situation Command. It has a base duration of 90 seconds in Olympus and an indefinite duration in the Keyblade Graveyard. When used, the party boards a steam locomotive that travels through the air in a rail of light. The activation animation cannot be skipped. The locomotive travels its course automatically, and instead Sora controls the marker to guide the direction of the Chimney Flare attack. The projectiles sent by Chimney Flare fire every 3.5 seconds in a rapid-fire mode, however pressing the button repeatedly will allow for quicker uses of Chimney Flare.
