Fly-by Knight (エアライドボンバー Ea Raido Bonbā , lit. "Air Ride Bomber") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to grab on to his Spirit Dream Eater and attack foes from the air.
Mechanics
Fly-by Knight is a Link Attack that drains the Link Gauge by 6.6% per second. It deals Physical damage and the direction can be controlled with . Pressing lets the Spirit execute an attack that costs 10% of the Link Gauge and deals Physical damage. When the Link Gauge has 10% or less remaining, pressing summons a pillar of light from the ground, which deals Physical damage.
The strength of the Link Attack varies between Spirits. Linking with a Peepsta Hoo deals the least amount of damage, while linking with a Komory Bat deals slightly more damage. Linking with an Eaglider or Halbird gives the strongest attack, but deals the least damage when flying around.
