Combo Master (コンボマスター Konbo Masutā ) is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. It allows the user to continue with an attack combo even if a hit does not strike an enemy or object.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Combo Master is a combat ability that costs 3 AP to equip.[KH I HD]
In Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Combo Master is a support ability that costs 4 AP to equip.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Combo Master is a Bonus Booster ability.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Combo Master is a support ability that can be equipped once.
In Kingdom Hearts III, Combo Master is a support ability that costs 4 AP to equip.
Learning Combo Master
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
- Sora learns Combo Master at level 50 with the Dream Sword, 55 with the Dream Shield, and 55 with the Dream Rod.[KH I HD]
Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix
- Sora learns Combo Master after defeating Roxas in The World That Never Was.
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
- Data-Sora learns Combo Master by linking the CPU to the respective Bonus Booster in the to a CPU in the fifth section of the Stat Matrix.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
- Sora and Riku can purchase Combo Master from the Lord Kyroo Ability Link for 300 Link Points.
- Sora and Riku can purchase Combo Master from the Ryu Dragon Ability Link for 300 Link Points.

Other appearances
- In Kingdom Hearts, when Sora is standing in the water he can hit the water with a strike (or an air strike), counting as hitting an object and therefore allowing him to do two attacks without hitting anything, instead of just one. This feature is also present in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, as well as in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX.
- In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, all attack combos can be fully executed regardless of whether or not a strike hits an enemy or object.
- In Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-, Aqua's ground and air combos can be fully executed regardless of whether or not a strike connects, except for if the game is set on Critical Mode.
