Crime & Punishment (クライムペナルティ Kuraimu Penaruti , lit. "Crime Penalty") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts II. It allows the user to unleash more powerful spells by channeling them through two Keyblades at once.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts II, Crime & Punishment is an action ability exclusive to Final Form. It increases the effectiveness of magic and in some cases, changes how spells perform.
- Fire has a larger area of effect, which increases with each consecutive combo attack.
- A regular Blizzard spell releases two projectiles, while the finisher causes Sora to be knocked back as four projectiles are shot successively, followed by another pair.
- Thunder sends out multiple forks of lightning and the finisher increases each fork's area of effect.
