Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts II, Dodge Slash is an action ability exclusive to Sora. It costs 2 AP to equip. When this ability is equipped, Sora does a three-hit attack that consists of jerking spins of the Keyblade that can parry attacks easily. However, Dodge Slash has a slow execution and may miss some hits with a shorter Keyblade, meaning that enemies with fast recovery to standard attacks such as Sephiroth can potentially attack Sora in the middle of Dodge Slash.
Its description is erroneously switched with that of Slapshot, but this is corrected in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix.
