Zone of Ruin (ブラスティングゾーン Burasutingu Zōn?, lit. "Blasting Zone") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and Kingdom Hearts χ. It allows the user to summon a giant sword of light and smite enemies with one blow.

Mechanics

Zone of Ruin is a Simple Type Overclock Finisher that can be used by Data-Sora.

Zone of Ruin shares its Japanese name, Blasting Zone, with one of Squall Leonhart's Limit Breaks, during which he creates a gigantic glowing aura around his Gunblade to strike his opponents, similar to its appearance in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.
