In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Dodge Roll is a movement command exclusive to Ventus. It is activated by pressing and a direction on the left analog stick, though can be tapped without a direction if a Block-type command is not equipped. It has a maximum level of 4.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Dodge Roll is a Bonus Booster ability that can be leveled up from Dodge Roll Lv.1 to Dodge Roll Lv.2. It is triggered by pressing and holding a direction on the control pad, though can be tapped without a direction if a Block-type command is not equipped.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Dodge Roll is a movement command that is triggered by moving the circle pad and pressing , though can be tapped without a direction if a Block-type command is not equipped. It can be used to initiate Flowmotion.
