Sliding Block (スライドガード Suraido Gādo , lit. "Slide Guard") is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Sliding Block is an ability panel that must be linked to Block ② or Block ④. It allows the user to quickly slide forward as they block.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Sliding Block is a defense command that can equipped in the place of a Block-type command. It is triggered by pressing while stationary on the ground. It allows the user to knock an attacker into the air when blocking a head-on attack. Sliding Block grants +2 to Defense when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.
