Fantasia (ファンタジア, Fantajia) is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It allows the user to unleash a barrage of fireworks to attack enemies. It is a signature of Donald Duck.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts II, Fantasia is an action ability exclusive to Donald. It is a limit that costs 3 AP to equip and all of Sora's MP to use. The first attack of the Limit is Comet, in which Donald casts fireworks to attack enemies, knocking them into the air. This attack can be repeated up to six times. After this, the finishing move Comet Rain becomes available, where Donald slams his staff downwards and calls forth a ring of fireworks around Sora, damaging many enemies. While the limit is active, Donald follows Sora around in a bubble of magical energy. Sora can move freely and attack during this limit.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Fantasia is a Limit Break. It allows Donald to summon many small, colorful explosions to appear, heavily damaging any enemies that get hit. During the Final Limit, many colorful explosions circle around Donald while he is in midair. The explosions are also somewhat larger, and do much more damage. The explosions start on opposite sides of Donald, and will rotate around him if the attack button is continuously pressed.
