Synopsis
Kairi remembers the conversation she had with Roxas, in which she also hears the voice of the boy she cannot remember. He leaves her a clue to his name, saying it: "Starts with an 'S'."
Selphie then catches up with Kairi, who throws a bottle holding a note into the ocean. Kairi tells Selphie that she wrote a letter to the boy she cannot remember, saying that no matter where he is, they'll meet again. Selphie questions whether it will really reach him, especially since it lacks a name. Kairi smiles, saying the letter will, as she just remembered Sora's name.
Roxas wakes up back in his room, recalling that he fell from the clock tower at the station, and dreamt of speaking with Kairi. He soon notices that his orb from the trophy has disappeared. Upon reaching the Usual Spot, Hayner notes that there are only three days left of the summer vacation, meaning that the group should do something meaningful. Olette demands that they finish their homework assignment. With Roxas in agreement, the group begins discussion possible writing topics. Pence mentions exploring the Old, and supposedly, haunted Mansion. The group visits the Old Mansion, planning to research the paranormal rumors. The first rumor is about the girl that appears on the second floor window. Seifer's group soon arrives, planning to investigate the Old Mansion as well. As everyone tries to break down the gate, Roxas passes out.
Roxas wakes up inside a white room, also finding Naminé. He notices the numerous drawings posted throughout the room. After spotting one of him and Axel, Naminé confirms is his best friend. Naminé introduces herself to be a "witch" with control over Sora's memories and those around him. In addition, she explains to Roxas that DiZ has been monitoring the town, and Sora is sleeping to regain his lost memories, which were taken apart nearly a year ago. Naminé tells Roxas that in order for Sora to be completed, he needs Roxas, as well as the fact Roxas that he was never supposed to exist.
Roxas wakes up outside the mansion. Hayner and the others explain that Seifer and his gang are gone, but they are still locked out of the mansion. Roxas notices the curtains moving, which his friends dismiss as a draft somewhere in the mansion.
Elsewhere, DiZ is shown sitting at his computer. Now that his plans are finalizing, he orders the man in black to dispose of Naminé.
