What are you after? — 21:15, July 25, 2010 (UTC) So I was minding my own business, editing Gantu, and needed a reference from the only place I thought might have the info, the Disney Wiki. And what should I learn there in the Gantu article than that the Wiki's been stealing information from us on EVERY SINGLE KH CHARACTER! Mainly story sections. We need to STOP this madness. Other links are coming in from other users, but here is just one example: TEH EBIL!!! I'll take it up with the admins on the Disney Wiki first, but if nothing happens, we need to DO SOMETHING! Sorry to, in DTN's words, be "overRAGEGUYing", but this is a truly serious matter. EDIT 21:35, July 25, 2010 (UTC): I've scanned the Disney Wiki, and have found no trace of an active staff member. Obviously we can't punish the Disney Wiki in any way, but we should all at least attempt to find a way to get them to cite/link back to us, and USE THEIR OWN WORDS! I have a feeling Central Wiki will have a better chance of reaching a staff member than we do. I know they won't shut them down, but at least they can help. EDIT 21:39, July 25, 2010 (UTC): I have found a staff member who claims they are inactive but apparently logged into the Disney Wiki two days ago. I'll contact him and see where things go from there.

Calm down. First off, this in no way affects the KH Wiki. Second, everytime you edit or create an article on this Wiki a disclaimer says " If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly and redistributed at will, then don't submit it here. ". The info of this Wiki is probably on mirror pages as well. I do suppose it's a bit dubious that Sora and even Sephiroth are on the Disney Wiki too (since they're not Disney characters), but that concerns their policy and not ours. Copy/pasting information that is not their own is still wrong and illegal. And it's not just what I submitted, but what EVERYONE ELSE HAS. I contacted an admin. Excuse me for caring. Rant OVER!

If they are directly copying our info without crediting the editors who wrote it, that IS plagiarism, and is very serious. They need to either import the full page histories from our pages (which probably won't work for their purposes), or explicitly have a notice for the KH section like "The content of this section was taken from the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, and is the work of the editors listed there."Glorious CHAOS! 23:05, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think you're gonna get much more than the KH Wiki being listed as a source for the KH content of those pages (seeing as all Wiki info must be sourced). Again, Wiki content is not in any way copyrighted. People may distribute it at will. Xerruy 23:24, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

maggosh What's a Keyblade, anyway? — "Third Rate Gamer on a Kingdom Hearts related wiki?" "Didn't they test this talkbubble out before they released it?" Just because it's not copyrighted doesn't mean plagiarizing it is okay. Didn't you test your rebuttal out before you released it?

I just combed the Disney wiki and corrected a few errors such as Vanitas being born from dark DNA (WTH?) but for some reason can't fix the errors in the info boxes, could someone else do that for me? --Evnyofdeath 23:41, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

Xerruy: You are completely wrong. Wiki content is completely copyrighted (well, copylefted) under GFDL, however, it is also free to reuse. Basically, anyone can copy our stuff for no charge, as long as they credit us for the stuff.Glorious CHAOS! 23:42, July 25, 2010 (UTC)

Okay. I just saw this issue. They fail to adhere to the copyleft, even after our persuasion, we bring it up to Wikia Staff/Helpers. Three people are at my disposal. Just say the word, if needed. I mean, seriously. It's not copyrighted, but that doesn't give us the liberty to copy others' words as and when we please.
