- Well, if there's no OST out yet, then they're obviously titles made up by fans.—Urutapu 11:50, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

- Yeah, it's a lie. A soundtrack hasn't been announced.—Urutapu 20:17, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

Night on Bald Mountain/Night on the Bare Mountain
|
True, but the released Kingdom Hearts soundtracks name the track "Night on the Bare Mountain". I don't know why. --Neumannz 23:14, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
its night on bald mountain in the kingdom hearts credits as seen by this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_NOCzkRZXQ 86.30.108.115 23:18, April 30, 2010 (UTC) its about 2 mins and 30 secs in 86.30.108.115 23:19, April 30, 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, first of all, both titles are translated from Russian anyway and mean the same thing. Second, "Bare" should be what's considered official to KH at the moment. "Kingdom Hearts Final Mix - Additional Tracks" uses "Bald" but Kingdom Hearts Original Soundtrack Complete uses "Bare". It's a retcon of sorts.—Urutapu 07:52, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
i think we should go with what it says on the credits as that is what it was officially called when it was played in the game sequence, if this was the page for the soundtrack it probably should be called what it says on the track listing but its not its the in-game boss music therefore the song name in the credits should be official 86.30.108.115 13:42, May 1, 2010 (UTC)
- Uh huh. Because the Official Soundtracks aren't official somehow? --Neumannz 01:53, May 2, 2010 (UTC)
- completely missed what i was saying i wasnt saying that night on Bare mountain wasnt the official name of the song i was saying that night on bald mountain is how it was named in the credits so thats what it should be called here as this is the 'in game ' music not the soundtrack music i cant make it any clearer than that 86.30.108.115 21:16, May 3, 2010 (UTC)
- The song is officially credited at the end of the game, and honestly, the Original Soundtrack Complete is only released in Japan, right? Unless they've gotten special permission to rename the song due to their slight remix of it, I think we can write it off as a typo. "Bald Mountain" is the name of the actual location in the film, and that name is used in both Kingdom Hearts and the Final Mix soundtrack, so it's fair to say that we've got both context and majority on this one.Glorious CHAOS! 03:33, May 2, 2010 (UTC)
- You don't need "special permission" to rename a piece of music in the public domain, especially when the "name" is a translation in the first place.—Urutapu 06:49, May 3, 2010 (UTC)

Shrouding Dark Cloud.
It says in the opening paragraph that this theme is associated with Heartless Bosses. I thought Destiny's Force played against Heartless. It played against Darkside, Parasite Cage, Behemoth and others. Can someone get rid of that statement? (Bananaphone1996 22:57, August 14, 2010 (UTC))
Both themes play during Heartless Bosses. So the statement is accurate since it doesn't say it plays during ALL Heartless Bosses.76.108.136.28 21:11, September 18, 2010 (UTC)
Seriously
The edit warring here needs to stop. Leave it until the OST comes out. IS THAT HARD?--Random!to a point! 21:30, September 18, 2010 (UTC)

Birth By Sleep themes
|
Many themes are also reused for Days so why do all of them read "title unanounced?" Just because a game specific OST hasn't come out doesn't change the fact that we already know the names of the songs.
Although the songs are identical, the titles for that game have not been released, so ergo, "title unnanounced." Chitalian8
Okay so how does that make them different songs? They're not even remixes which may have different titles than the original, the only difference between them is the game. I mean do different radio stations use different tittles for the same song? No, they use the same one because it is the same song, seriously should I use a different names for the champion theme for Pokemon Gold and Silver than the one used in Pokemon Crystal? Also don't say that that example is irrelevant just because it is an unrelated series.
Wow, I keep forgetting to sign my posts. I also posted the second and forth comments in this section.76.108.136.28 05:21, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
- That example is irrelevant because it is an unrelated series.
- Wait for the OST to come out. There is no basis in policy to be guessing at names for what it sounds like.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 18:24, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
It's the same song used in two different games under the same circumstances, it was a perfect example. As I said should I just consider them to have different names just because it has never been said that they do or don't. This isn't guessing, it is a conclusion reached based on facts. Seriously just because it is used in a different game doesn't mean it's a different song, if it was a remix it could be considered different but it's not.
- To be frank, your opinion here doesn't matter, because it is directly contradictory to the wiki's policies.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 14:26, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
But what if the soundtrack remains unreleased? It can't say title unannounced forever. SeanWheeler 01:46, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
Umm, yes, it can.LapisLazuliScarab02:49, October 23, 2010 (UTC)
What if the internal names for the tracks used by the game were used? Especially for days and recoded? 134.151.33.152 11:38, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
coded
We need to start updateing the article with the bosses from Coded and Re:coded. I would but I don't know what the games various bosses are asside from Sora-Heartless and Roxas. LightoftheDarkness 22:12, November 9, 2010 (UTC)
Soundtrack
There will be an OST for Days, BBS and recoded, so I guess we can finally update this page with official names :) Silvertitan 17:43, December 2, 2010 (UTC)
- GODDAMN IT I WAS JUST ABOUT TO POST THIS. AS PUNISHMENT I AM SENDING YOU TO THE DEPTHS OF THAT OTHER PLACE WHICH ISN'T HEAVEN.

What's with the personal attacks and threats, Maggosh? SeanWheeler 23:04, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
Ventus-Vanitas
Don't we need to add Ventus-Vanitas to the Keyblade Graveyard section of Birth by Sleep? Also is Unbreakable Chains the theme used for Ven's fight against Vanitas inside their heart or for the Ventus-Vanitas fight with Aqua? LightoftheDarkness 03:12, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Reorganization

I kinda like it like that. Do the rest of the sections, and let's see what we get. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 03:27, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
New idea
So, here's my new idea. I got one, see.
We cover EVERY song, talk about it and how it differs between games, list its composers what have you, and detail everywhere it appears in games. We ALSO list every soundtrack it appears on. Afterward, we farm out all the appearance info to all the world, boss, and character infoboxes. Thoughts?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:28, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- I agree. That would definitely make this more organized. Blackchaos27 (talk) 20:21, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
- I agree with this. Similar to what VGMdb has (at least for the composer part). When you said you were the fun one on the lane, who was your competition? The mailbox? - Erry 22:13, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
